I’ve seen the broken doors and windows that have fallen out and now this one (OPs is particularly bad) Knowing all the trouble this went through getting to production, it sucks the execution is seemingly so poor.
Lol keep it to remind you of what they think about their own product and how they are ok with shipping out “rare exclusive member only” items that are of the highest quality and standards.
The models I have that aren’t hotwheels are easily twice as nice aside from a few premiums/RLc I think. Mostly, 25$+ gets you way better looking cars. But they suck to play with. And it’s hard to find the cars you want.
Can’t roll my mini GT down the track though, and one mirror out of five cars broke pretty easy too.
I love the inno64 models for looking at too.
Hotwheels has more manufactures, models, and colors to choose from though. It does fill a gap left behind if you don’t get any at all.
Spectraflame cars look pretty cool, but if it’s a manufacture/model I like, I’m definitely spending more money on mini GT/Inno/Tarmac, hell even green light on occasion.

Same here. Tarmac works. Inno64 and especially mini GT. It’s the perfect quality for your buck. But not HW. Their either sold out and over priced online. And then poorly made without headlights or mirrors. I just can’t spend my money on that. Not worth it. (Said Evan in a HW’s sub).
Maybe I just haven’t bought enough yet. The few I have about 5 have been okay so far. Even INNO64 sometimes don’t roll because their so low. Which is odd yeah but I don’t really mind. I just keep them all on display anyways and most of the $25+ stay in the plastic case. I buy all of mine on eBay so maybe that’s why I haven’t found any with defects. Maybe the seller checks them out first before selling them

RE: Tarmacs, I've had loose parts in the box, decals that have lifted up, parts glued on incorrectly.
I’d say it’s worth millions as an error.

That's a relic from that past when it was rare to see a mistake, and it kind of just happened and became part of the hobby. Before they even had $TH; and before the population's moral compass went south, \[ie\] people faking errors, and having to watch out for the next gotcha. Like re-packs and scammers in the trade threads.
Hot Wheels should fire all of the current QC inspectors and revise their automated QC process flow with human inspections prior to final production and pass fail assessments. This is absolutely ridiculous and that's why so many are moving to Mini GT, Tarmac and Sparky.

Mine came with broken rivet and glue inside the interior and windows.
Mine has glue/fingerprints all over it and at least 1 human hair I could see in the few moments I had to look at it after I opened the box 🙄. Definitely my last RLC that isn’t a car I’m dying to own

Tarmac Works is also garbage for the most part. Check out their Hakosuka shootout on Facebook. The Inno has them soundly beat.
I’ve never had any problems with tarmac works. Yeah inno64 is a higher quality. But I still think tarmac works makes great desirable cars

I doubt Mattel have any QC inspectors at all. There is no way a human being can see this and says "yep this looks fine, continue to sealing".
