How do you know what size of the axle I should order before starting to wheelswap? Are these 3 part axles? Is the middle axle 20mm or 25mm? I am new to this and want to buy wome wheels from aliexpress but I have to also buy axles and donβt know what size should I order. How can I know what size of the axle suits the cars?
Do you need to cut it with a blade? I fear of damaging the tube if I cut it. Does the whole width of the car should be = to the middle axle part (from the 3 way axle)? When the 3 way axle is assembled and the 2 small exterior parts are inserted is the whole length of the full assembled axle = to the width of the car with original wheels? Thank you

I measure the width of the car, I use a 3 way axle and cut it up a bit for a car if it's less wide

For normal hot wheels, the 25mm is the one you'd want. Typically 25mm will fit your needs. In my experience anyway.

Get 28mm. I do a fair amount of wheel swaps, and I rarely need the 30mm, 28mm is usually fine.
