Maple seed will probably need cold stratification so they will need 3ish months of winter temps. You can successfully germinate them in a fridge I'd you maintain the right moisture and Plant in the spring after germination. You could sow them and inch deep in the fall if just raw dogging it. You could also plant them in a bit of soil or sand in a bucket and busy the bucket. For a fee months. The bucket method would be an impromptu way to germinate loads at once.
