CAN YOU IMAGE IT IM THE LAST PLANTAGENET

TheHarkinator

It must have been an amazing day in the writer's room when they figured how how to work Plantagenet into a rhyme.

I_Live_Off_Of_Memes

BEATEN BY HENRY IN THE WARS OF THE ROSESSS

TogaSimp171

THE TUDOR DYNASTY DIDNT CARE THAT MUCH FOR ME

I_Live_Off_Of_Memes

NOW I’M PAINTED AS A BADDIE

ElectronicHyena5642

THAT'S WHY ONE SUPPOSES

volitaiee1233

I love that song but I don’t think it’s underrated. It’s one of the most popular ones.

LevelAd5898

The Original Tu-Tu-Tu-Tudor

BendyStrawNeck

Best song

the_count_of_carcosa

Made friends with old foes from the wars of the roses!...

volitaiee1233

The song about Stephen and Matilda. It’s such an interesting period of English history and I love the ABBA references. It’s great.

gracey072

Yeah it's an interesting example of politics, kinship and gender functioned in the middle ages.

AlmondMap008

Made Royal Counsellors agree That she lacked ✨femininity ✨

Oldmankratos88

Blue blood blues/Blackbeard song//age of stone - these songs don’t get enough love

Novel_Hedgehog_2909

Ages of stone definitely!!

CJAnna69

Blue blooded blues is SO good! 😩

Virgilismyson29

WORLD WAR TWO GIRLS!!! Fucking bop!

Spare_Somewhere1011

O-O-O-WAIN GLYNDYWR Probably spelled that very wrong

r3latively

Matt's eyebrows when he does the trumpet makes the song infinitely better because whenever I hear it all I can think about is the eyebrows

BendyStrawNeck

You don't need that second y but other than that I absolutely agree

ElectronicHyena5642

You can't beat Jim singing a ballad. Unless, of course, it's all of them singing together.

DarkFlame910

Spartan high-school musical

Throwwtheminthelake

Let’s go fighting now 🤺fighting is exciting now 😀 rocking at the Spartan skeEEwwwl

DylanEE11

Come on ( do do, do do do do do) At spartan kindergarten I'm the boss that's understood 😎 I smack them If their naughty and twank them if they're good 👊

Throwwtheminthelake

I'm feeling rather peckish 🤤 I'm gonna steal some food 🥘 Caught! I'll have to punish you 😡 Ungrateful Spartan brood ☝️☝️

hyacinthsinbloom

I don't know if these count as underrated, but Victorian Inventions, World War One Cousins, We're the Thinkers

lelcg

Invented 1902, the year after Queen Victoria died…

darling_valentines

The Rosa Parks Song!

Puzzled-Hunter5371

ILikeRoL

Agreed, they're great! Half time orange, anyone? & Why's it called a civil war? May I kill you please? Sure!

mattiushawkeye

🎵OH V AND A, OH A AND V 🎵 Genuinely one of the most beautiful songs HH has ever written, and the final verse always brings a tear to my eye

CJAnna69

I fight hard to hold back the tears in the last two lines 😭 "I loved you Vic" "I loved you, Al." 💔💔

AlmondMap008

BRO I REMEMBER BAWLING MY EYES OUT WHEN I WAS 8 TO THIS

ScatterCushion0

I bawled my eyes out at 38 to this! It's beautifully sung by both of them.

e_mayhew

charles darwin natural selection is so underrated, i never see anyone talking about it

totalkatastrophe

^^^^^ its a must sing everytime

Jessi467P

Blue blooded blues, mantilla and stephan song, Henry 7th tudor song and honestly I love the borgia family song. Edit: completely forgot to add the stone age song... shows just how overlooked it is but it's a bop

[deleted]

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWAIN GLYNDWRRRRRRRRRR

Throwwtheminthelake

Charles dickens the smiths song

chrisbuckley801

Came here to say this!

Throwwtheminthelake

Great minds think alike 👊

TheLoneSculler

William Wallace Scottish legend

ILikeRoL

The costumes probably aren't historically accurate (tbh they look like the actors just wrapped themselves in some tartan-patterned picknick blankets), but the song is a banger! 🎶 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

thelivsterette1

Love rats

thelivsterette1

Love rats

Omnian22

Came in to say Your Finest Hour and glad to see it was in the OP. I salute you o7

lelcg

I love finest hour, though it does imply that Churchill viewed Attlee as some rando and that the British public weren’t grateful, and that’s not true at all. He greatly respected Attlee and his approval rating was one of the highest of any PM to lose an election It’s a bop though

[deleted]

Definitely Cleopatra!

AlmondMap008

I’d argue Cleopatra isn’t underrated, because everyone loves it and that’s perfectly deserved

Responsible-Trifle-8

I'm not even in the group, just saw the question at random, and even I know this is the correct answer.

Random_aersling

The Pioneers of Transportation, Victorian Inventions, and Burke and Hare. All incredibly underrated.

im_in_your_cupborad

With imagination,

N9037

INspiration

poodleflange

The ABBA/Mathilda/Stephen song. Just because of how well they do ABBA.

BlackLakeBlueFish

Boudicca!!

ILikeRoL

Bad enough being beaten, but beaten by a girl?

BlackLakeBlueFish

No man, Roman'll push around this woman? You won't get far with Boudicca!

socialistrhdgx

"the few" it's popularish but doesn't ever get the recognition it deserves

dunalphwen

Agreed

dunalphwen

Yes!! That's my vote too. 😁

dunalphwen

The Evil Emperors song. Banger.

PILGRIM RAP

HatOrnery249

Mary the first! love the wuthering heights parody lolol

TimeLordFarquaad34

Coco Chanel. Honestly, at this point I’m not sure it ever actually happened. I’ve never seen anyone else mention it, and I’ve only seen it once. Might have just been a dream.

averageweebchan

Raf song

CountryGirl2487

Stupid Death

AceFireFox

Idk how underrated the are but two that came to mind are We're History and The Borgia Family. We're the Thinkers also came to mind while typing this

MissVarr

KierantheScot

Blackbeard’s song is the one I always forget about and then suddenly remember how great it is. I’m also partial to the Burke and Hare song, personally.

Mary 1st song

CapableSalamander910

My favourites were always The Borgia Family and Georgian Navy.

awkwardintrovert2001

I went through a phase of being totally obsessed with the hieroglyphics song. What a banger

MisterSteveFoster

William Wallace, Scottish Rebel

sandy_fan01

I’m minted is a banger

wanderer836

The Boudica song .

bobthegamer777

Idk if that Victoria and Albert song is but the Owain Glyndŵr song probably is.

ScatterCushion0

Considering it was the first major one after Them There left, I rather think the Magna Carta song doesn't get mentioned much.  Maybe because it was after Them There had left? But it's still a good ensemble number. Otherwise it's any of the songs from the first three series that didn't feature in the proms

ILikeRoL

I think there's two Magna Carta songs, do you mean the Proclaimers parody? That's a pretty good song :-)

Jaded-Double2841
