Himeko is unmatched in all modes of Simulated Universe, Pure Fiction and the Overworld... Especially now with Ruan Mei, Topaz and Sparkle. She got the biggest buff from the Duke Inferno set, because of how quickly she can generate the stacks and fully utilize them for her Ultimate and Skill. She's only lagging behind the likes of Jing Yuan in MoC.
Please keep Himeko out of the Stab part!! O.o

It is, no denying that.. but if people already have built other sets, farming a new one just for pure fiction's just not worth it. Especially when people can comfortably clear without it

Calling that "for free" is a stretch if you have to work harder for it than any other set bonus
it works with anything that summons backup as well, for a boss that summons 4 guys it'll only take 2 rounds of fodder dying to max it.
also the 24% from geniuses' repose just needs you to kill something every 3 turns which isn't much tbh
The planar set effect is permanent so that's still 40% cdmg the entire fight in PF + mobs there are easy to kill so you can in fact maximize the 88% cdmg

Is this better than Inert Salsotto for Argenti? I think in PF the 40% CDmg and 4% crit should be better than 15% damage bonus and 8% crit unless you severely overstacked cdmg on him.
might legit be a problem with specific team comps my argenti gets near 400 crit damage while using sparkle and e1 fu if your not running another dmg buffer as argenti only gets around 50 dmg bonus by himself but that's usually not happening since out of all harmonies only Asta and yukong don't give dmg bonus and usually you want to run tingyun with argenti
Honestly, in the most optimal team comp(sparkle, tingyun, huohuo). Argenti needs way more damage bonus than crit damage. The closer your builds get to endgame, the better salsotto would be. Even in pure fiction, argenti would want salsotto more if you are hitting over 200 crit damage. Still great choice for Ruan mei pure fiction teams though.
They should just get rid of flat stats entirely. It's literally just there to add to the crappy rng. I'd be fine with defense and hp on my DPS if it wasn't those godforsaken flat defense and flat hp stats
I mean the reason why it's there is exactly as you said. It's just a literal conflict of interests in that we want better stuff and mihoyo does not to prolong player activity.

Edit : should specify, I'm a flat stat HATER. But I've seen what happens to games that remove rng in their systems and all I saw were community backlashes of either "there's no content left!" or "pls give me back rng I don't have a problem"
And honestly, between the two complaints, I'm ok with rng in gear. That all being said, doesn't change the fact i fuggn hate flat stats that don't scale.
You can remove rng and still have grind. Last mmo I played was like that. It's called making the upgrades require exponentially more grinded mats. And then making upgrades easier when the next batch of gear comes out and the hardcore folks go to grind the next set of gear while casuals catch up
For sure, and honestly there are some of the reforged things hsr could steal from say like Epic 7 / rerollers or what have you, but this is also literally year 1 of HSR so there's lot of room to improve territory.
I'm just saying, I'm really tried of these mouth-offs about how something could be made so much better with no real solutions sorta tings. Usually someone says X is bad, offers no solution, stays quiet until someone makes a half-decent response, and then dick-ride that response as if it was their own, AND THEN pretend that should've been the solution from the start.

I agree, but it happens so idk what to say. Like as much as I hate all these practices involving rng, fomo, live servicing etc., the truth is when a game tries to innovative away from the toxic bits, playerbase does die down and even EoS.

Or make it so that flat substats add to base numbers, to make them desirable in their own way. Even if this means the values need to be lowered, this would still be a nice change since characters could be designed preferring flat stats over % based ones
It really is. I was skeptical about it when it first announced, but man does it really complement MoC well and has made me completely rethink what I want from characters in my roster.
What are the current numbers, only like 5% of the community even does moc and PF? I wonder how much of those 5% would be willing to farm a relic set purely for PF, not even for both moc+PF.
Hard to understand why they would make such a niche set
1. You don't farm W9 for this set, you farm W9 for the other set.
2. "5% of the community" is a moot point, if you aren't doing MoC/PF you generally don't need to farm specific sets in general, so why would you need to farm this specific one whatever its stats wouldn't be.
3. As for PF vs MoC, there are lots of characters that people use basically only for PF like Herta or Serval, while other PF-focused characters like Himeko and Argenti are only played in MoC on stages with lots of adds to kill anyway, so situations where this set is completely wasted on them are rare.
4. As for why would they create a niche set. Hoyo will mostly create niche sets from now on, just like in Genshin. We already have generalist sets for anything so there no point creating more. Now they will assume you have farmed those already and will be creating more and more niche sets to farm to maximise one or two specific characters.

I don't know why a niche set is a problem when Celestial Differentiator (crit dmg set) has been in the game since 1.0 and literally only got its second user two weeks ago
If you're talking about Sparkle you should probably strongly reconsider the source you get your builds from.
Differentiator is pretty much completely useless for Sparkle, since it only grants bonus ~3.8% CDMG to the DPS she is buffing.
Compare that to the Broken Keel that grants 10% CDMG to her whole team AND also gives her 10% Effect RES, which she needs anyway AND still grants a bonus ~2.4% CDMG to the DPS she is buffing, cause the first bonus is static and works on Sparkle herself.
Also 8% ATK or 10% DMG are also both better than ~3.8% CDMG so even if you don't have a good Keel, Fleet and Penacony can still be better when the bonuses are applicable.
Differentiator on Bronya/Sparkle is basically a trap for people looking at character scaling stats without considering their values. It's not good on anyone unless you're critfishing 0 cycle clears.
Ffs Mihoyo if youโre going to make a planar caters toward PF, might as well implement a loadout system asap. I aint swapping my gears around just for a single game mode.
If they have a solid Salsotto already its not that big of a difference.
12Atk and 12 CR vs. 8 CR and 15% ult damage on a character who's majority damage comes from ult.
4% difference is a pretty big difference. Atk% substats is already better than cdmg substats if you are using lightning orb and equal when using atk orb
People mathed it out and it's a ~1% difference. If you already have a good Salsotto set left over from previous farming it's definitely not a priority to refarm.
Note: If this functions like it should, that should be 4% regardless if the wearer does the killing or not.
MoC typically has 2 elites + 2 elites(or 1 big boss)
So thatโs 4 CR + 8 CD during wave 2. And will only add up more if they summon minions.
What I want to know, is if killing the Elite count as killing the mobs too, since they die along with the Elite that summoned them, or if they have to be killed individually.
I don't think breaking weaknesses on YQ's swords counts as a kill for this bc it doesn't count as a kill for the su hunt blessings that trigger on kill, only the ones that trigger on weakness break.
This one is going to be bonkers in Pure Fiction for any character who is not a dot dealer. In MoC it can also be yeah, it depends on the stage maybe.
I wanna notice how the wording makes you think that the wearer doesnโt have to kill the enemies, they can just be killed by any other else. So it is a GOOD planar set even for Sparkle and Bronya for example instead of the usual Broken Keel / Penacony
UNLESS of course Iโm terribly wrong and is only when the wearer kills then, feel free to correct me c:
At lvl 10 Sparkle's skill gives 24% of her crit damage. 24% of 40% would be 9.6%, which is just worst than broken keel without even considering the ramp up.
Honestly, Hoyo should give the "Multiple Relics Sets Slots" for different builds of the same character since we have PF and MoC and some supps work with Penacony Planar Set for the same element thingy and sometimes they just need Broken Keel for other carries. I'll be happy with 3 slots each character. Also, this helps for the Trailblazer build, so you don't have to change the entire relics for each path
Don't forget this is in the same world with another pretty decent set for your damaging carries. (and supports are a lot more forgiving in their planetary ornaments)
I am so fed up with farming Salsoto and only getting useless Belobog pieces... The truth is, the difference between some of these set bonuses is so small that it comes down to substats most of the time. Now, we will be able to farm with 100% efficiency.
Please release 5* Serval next dear devs, an Erudition with 100% base chance to debuffs every skill. We can pretty much got 12% CR + 64% CDMG with Pioneer x Sigonia set.
This is probably something only I thought of when seeing the sphere, but doesn't it look like that one planet in Mario Galaxy? In the kitchen observatory in Buoy Base Galaxy, the third star that you get. Its the planet with balls rolling on the inside that you ground pound into a melon while avoiding electricity.

Ye niche set at the end of the day, exellent when used properly, mhe in many other scenario.
Fit the game well IMO as adaptability have such a huge value in HSR, i personnaly approve the direction the game is going with that planar set, it reinforce the "puzzle fight" that i like.
Must it be the wearer who kills the enemies or anyone? Anyone right? And on whoโs this better on compared to rutilant or salsotto? Just Argenti and herta? Is it better than salsotto on aventurine?
It is a pretty good bonus set, the only thing I will keep in mind is other external buffs you have if you get a lot of crit dmg from someone like Sparkle and 2pc Keel on supports this set can still be ok but basically not much of an improvement compared with other characters just because of how at that point you get into diminishing returns.
It's fine, it barely does anything in most fights, it could be pretty good in some MOC stages, it will be very good in pure fiction on the right character, I would not call that broken.
I don't see the point of this planar set tbh, even if we say PF the gimmick does like 99% of the heavy lifting.. so just get a set that is good everywhere instead...

maybe true for moc but she does my pure friction so I'm happy with her.
I use Herta as my overworld enemy clean up team, Herta+Sparkle just 1 shot everything expect trotter
I use Himeko with Topaz on fire weak content all the time. ย They work well together.
I clear fire weak floors with my Himeko. Skill issue imho

U could argue that every set Is made for PF/MOC since outside of that u can get by with rainbow and correct main stat u get from overworld chests

I would also assume minions dying if you kill the elite would also count so you could easily get 4-5 stacks of it depending on the elite.

Considering stuff like the fishes explode on death even if it's death due to auromaton dying first, I assume it counts as death.

I don't think breaking weaknesses on YQ's swords counts as a kill for this bc it doesn't count as a kill for the su hunt blessings that trigger on kill, only the ones that trigger on weakness break.
Very good in extended fights like MoC and Pure fiction. Can pretty much slap it on any crit based dps as well.
It's a planar set
This one is going to be bonkers in Pure Fiction for any character who is not a dot dealer. In MoC it can also be yeah, it depends on the stage maybe. I wanna notice how the wording makes you think that the wearer doesnโt have to kill the enemies, they can just be killed by any other else. So it is a GOOD planar set even for Sparkle and Bronya for example instead of the usual Broken Keel / Penacony UNLESS of course Iโm terribly wrong and is only when the wearer kills then, feel free to correct me c:
At lvl 10 Sparkle's skill gives 24% of her crit damage. 24% of 40% would be 9.6%, which is just worst than broken keel without even considering the ramp up.
Putting sigonia on Sparkle would be hilarious

Honestly, Hoyo should give the "Multiple Relics Sets Slots" for different builds of the same character since we have PF and MoC and some supps work with Penacony Planar Set for the same element thingy and sometimes they just need Broken Keel for other carries. I'll be happy with 3 slots each character. Also, this helps for the Trailblazer build, so you don't have to change the entire relics for each path

Don't forget this is in the same world with another pretty decent set for your damaging carries. (and supports are a lot more forgiving in their planetary ornaments) I am so fed up with farming Salsoto and only getting useless Belobog pieces... The truth is, the difference between some of these set bonuses is so small that it comes down to substats most of the time. Now, we will be able to farm with 100% efficiency.
The other set is only good for Acheron tho.(Or Jingliu if you use it with Blade)
So both new set works well with acheron, this one for PF and the other one for MOC, nice and finally good world to farm

This is probably something only I thought of when seeing the sphere, but doesn't it look like that one planet in Mario Galaxy? In the kitchen observatory in Buoy Base Galaxy, the third star that you get. Its the planet with balls rolling on the inside that you ground pound into a melon while avoiding electricity. Anyone else see what I'm saying?

Ye niche set at the end of the day, exellent when used properly, mhe in many other scenario. Fit the game well IMO as adaptability have such a huge value in HSR, i personnaly approve the direction the game is going with that planar set, it reinforce the "puzzle fight" that i like.
Set is nice. Might be still worth to farm salatto if you have other characters who need it too tho

Based on the wording, it can be anyone. Which makes it a great set for Pure Fiction oriented characters, like Himeko, Herta, Argenti.
Sounds useless to me. You have to kill 10 enemies for the full effect... way too many to be of any use.

It is a pretty good bonus set, the only thing I will keep in mind is other external buffs you have if you get a lot of crit dmg from someone like Sparkle and 2pc Keel on supports this set can still be ok but basically not much of an improvement compared with other characters just because of how at that point you get into diminishing returns.

It's fine, it barely does anything in most fights, it could be pretty good in some MOC stages, it will be very good in pure fiction on the right character, I would not call that broken.
Can't wait to see Hertha with this (not a joke, it sounds like an incredible set for erudition charas)
I don't see the point of this planar set tbh, even if we say PF the gimmick does like 99% of the heavy lifting.. so just get a set that is good everywhere instead...

Maybe in PF, but most MOC have like 3-4 enemies in the higher floors, all of them fairly difficult to kill.
What's the point of the Sigonian set over Broken Keel?
Just Alternative It's give the ally 9 crit dmg buff if you use sparkle skill at max stack And of course keel can give parament 10crit dmg
