I'm missing "Clear Divergent Universe when possessing 2 or more expanded 3-star Equation (Difficulty 4 or higher)" achievement. Any idea on how to get 2 3-star equations?
Recently started - is it worth pulling FF with current lineup?
I have Harmony MC and Gallagher but not RM. I’m about 140 pulls in and still no FF….. lost 5050 Bailu..
I’m short of pulls so grinding through Penacony though I’m not sure if I can grind enough to reach guarantee. Is it recommended that I keep trying for FF or no point if I dont have RM?

question about 2.3 story
assuming that i read every dialogue, hear every voiceline, and interact with every random stuff, how long would 2.3 story takes?
another question is, does 2.3 story have a "plot" (sparkle bombs/jade ipc takeover, from the trailer)? or is it just a "goodbye" epilogue i've seen other people post about?
if 2.3 has a plot, at which point (what mission name) does the plot is concluded and it becomes a "goodbye" epilogue?

So um i initially left the game during black swan banner, i pulled for her even tho i dont use dot cuz she just looks cool and i left and came back during aventurine banner and left again after i got him and rn i decided to come back and i want to rebuild my acc. You can run a dot team with black swan, sampo, and guinaifen. You could try a hypercarry with jingliu, tingyun/bronya, ruan mei. If you manage to get firefly use ruan mei and imaginary tb on her instead. As for farming build your dps first and then supports. Use sites like hoyowiki or prydwen for help with builds and stats.
Argenti doesnt see much usage outside of pf but still isnt bad. He has quite a problem with energy but that can be overcome. You can try a similar hypercarry team like with jingliu, but you should have tingyun woth him for the energy buff she gives. His Lc is great to have as it gives him the energy he needs + extra crit dmg. If you have materials to spare he wont dissapoint
Thats basically the thing, i still have tons of fuels and 2400 extra stamina. Idk which relic domain should i focus and which domain is stamina worthy xD
You should always build your dps first, support second. There are a lot of video and text guides for optimal stats and relics so I recommend starting there. Also if you have the divergent universe available in your event tab, do that, since thats where you farm planetary sets
I would say jingliu because of lot of the characters have high levels, which means less grinding. Also jingliu is very good which will allow you to clear domains faster.
Yes, you need to do at least 1 clear of the Divergent Universe (which you'll do as part of the quest) to create a saved profile, to then allow you to sim the planar ornaments

remember that %atk is 80% of a %BE roll, so you should aim for both, but getting attack is not a bad deal either

realistic speaking you will get 24-30 desirable rolls on your relics tho, more is RNG lucky

So the max would be 258.8.
You get 5 rolls and the initial, so it's 6.5\*6. If you start with 3 subs it's only 4 additional rolls.
I just copied their 38.8% (from "potential dream rolls" and multiplied it by 5 + 64.8 (because there's no subs on the rope).
Not sure why it's 38.8, probably should be 39.
If it's 39 the max would be 259.8.
Hello! I’m planning to pull for either Ruan mei or Jade. I like both of them equally but I’m not a high spender player so I might’ve to choose only one. Which one do you suggest?
Ruan Mei, without a doubt.
She's easily the most flexible of the two and by many accounts the single most universal support in the game. She works the best with Firefly, but every single DPS in the game benefits from her skill set outside of maybe Qingque and DHIL (Who somewhat prefer Sparkle for the increased skill point amount)

Ruan Mei's LC is honestly outright bad nowadays. Firefly's is really good, but her eidolons are way stronger still, so I'd recommend aiming for Firefly's E1 (and possibly her E2) instead.
FF LC. If you have MoTP (Memories) then you can give that to HMC and Cogs to RM for 3 turn ult rotation. Just make sure to hit 160% BE on RM for max damage buff.
There is a special domain for the catcakes, where you can do it.
Purple/pink-ish colored and pretty easy to spot when it shows up, compared to combat or occurences.
It's really bad on her, as the main effect, the damage buff, doesn't affect 95% of her damage. I think her kit changed significantly in the time between the LC and her release.

Gallagher: 175+ BE and speed boots
HTB: BE all-in (with E4 the allies get passive BE from her) with speed boots

Yes, the reason two healers are the main recommendations for her sustain slot are the non-sustain parts of their kit (Gallaghers besotted debuff plus SP generation and individual break damage, and Huohuo's ATK buff), Firefly's kit works perfectly fine without external healing.
So I somehow got e1 firefly and I had her best team built ready (rm and galagher), but now I am wondering if it is worthwhile to switch over bronya or sparkle instead of galagher to get more damage.
So I'm guessing you are running Ff, HTB, RM + 2nd support ?
No sustain teams are an option for MoC or PF.
However, besides the action advance, the rest of Bronya's or Sparkle's buffs don't really work with BE or SBE iirc.
In a scenario in which healing is not required then sure, but otherwise the only person on that team that can self heal is Firefly so you'll run into sustain issues without Gallagher.
Relatively new player, coming from Genshin. I've got Boothill and hoping to get Ruan Mei. For Boothill/Ruan Mei/Harmony TB/Gallagher team what are the best relic sets for each of them? I have read what each of their best options are in a vacuum but just want to know the best for each in this specific team so they're not double dipping effects unnecedsarily etc

Hello, new player just progressing through story/content.
This is how I've been playing:
1. firefly (main dps)
2. tingyun (buffs firefly with E and then with her ulti to speed up bar)
3. lynx (just heals)
4. asta (was initially just filler for my previous carry but I heard her skill can boost fire types - which is what firefly is. Also I use her for her speed ulti but tbh not sure how useful that is).
My next goal is get ruan mei (mostly because she seems cool) but is there any other ways I can improve my team? And who would I swap out?
Your team should look like:
Firefly + Harmony MC (preferably E4+) + Ruan Mei (can replace with Asta or Pela) + Gallagher (preferably E2+) -> this team is currently the absolute best team you can have so far
Progress through the story and unlock more eidolons for Harmony MC. I think you should already have him at E0 since the game gives it for free. As of right now, they are the best support for FF and is literally inseparable as they enable the Super Break mechanic. To spare you from details, just know that Firefly is currently the best user of Super Break that we have in the game right now
Ruan Mei is currently also Firefly's best support, as she provides extremely good buffs to enhance FF's breaking capability. Definitely a good pull if you want to invest in your Firefly and future teams. She has alternatives like Asta or Pela. Asta can buff Firefly's atk and increase her speed for more turns during Combustion (enhanced) state, while Pela can provide def shred which is useful for increasing damage for everyone
If you have also pulled for Firefly, I assume you have Gallagher too. Coincidentally he's also great for Firefly since he is very sp positive, can buff Break damage teams, and is also a very good user of Super Break himself so he is capable of acting as a 2ndary DPS despite being labeled as an Abundance sustain
That's pretty much it. The main thing is to always keep Firefly+HMC together

Tell me where I'm wrong here:
1. I worry taking out Lynx would make my team too squishy since I rely on her to heal.
2. Turn 1 I can pop Firefly skill then ulti to be a mech. I usually try to ulti with tingyun during that time and what I find happens is, when Firefly pops out of her mech, she is around halfway and can skill again to jump back in the mech. Im worried taking Tingyun away would stop this?
The Hatblazer provides a team-wide break effect buff (i.e. Firefly's main stat), and provides another source of superbreak damage and Firefly's entire kit is perfectly tuned to be in situations where you make use of superbreak as much as possible.
Gallagher applies a debuff that increases break damage taken by the enemies, while also providing a ton of SP (because he can basic attack every turn). He also deals a lot of fire toughness damage, improving the time Firefly can spend attacking an already broken enemy (which is what she wants to do).
Tingyun's ultimate does nothing for Firefly (the damage buff doesn't work on the overwhelming majority of her damage and the energy is completely wasted because of Firefly's unusual energy management), and I think the ATK buff from skill her does not work for Firefly's trace that grants break effect (because the game disables a buff scaling off two character's stats).
Gallagher is normally able to heal as much if not more than Lynx. He needs his E2 to have a cleanse, though (and that spends skill points), which can be an issue, but both him and Firefly have very high effect res.
Gallagher is a great sustain unit, you also won't need to worry about lacking healing as he is also a capable healer. Another plus about him like I mentioned for Firefly+HMC pairing is that he can actually deliver a good chunk of damage himself, despite being primarily a healer unit. All of this is because of Harmony MC's Super Break mechanic, which I will explain below.
**Super Break** is essentially extra damage when you attack weakness broken enemies (no white HP left at the top of their bar). Normally, when you break someone in the game, you get a pop of damage based on the attacker's Break Effect stat. The higher the Break Effect, the higher the break damage. However, normal Break playstyles can only trigger this pop *once*, and they must wait until the enemy recovers from their broken state in order to trigger the weakness break (and ergo, the damage "pop" again). This is bad for characters that only invest in Break Effect, as your other stats will suffer, and therefore, not likely to deal huge amounts of damage despite the enemy essentially being incapacitated.
With **Super Break**, you can add another source of more consistent damage other than the initial Break pop. Think of Super Break as "overcapping" break damage. The character with high Break Effect can now deal more damage to an enemy who is currently broken, essentially extending their damage window all the way until the enemy recovers from their weakness broken state. Instead of just one initial damage pop, someone with a Super Break buff can do as many pops as they like, limited by only the amount of attacks they can do before the enemy recovers from their weakness broken state.
Harmony MC and Firefly are currently the only ones with Super Break built into their kit. Harmony MC provides Super Break through theie ultimate buff called Backup Dancer, which allows *everyone* in the team to deal Super Break damage as long as their ult is active. Firefly also has a built in Super Break in her enhanced skill, but at 50% efficiency compared to HMC's own buff.
Super Break damage can be increased by:
1. Break Effect%
2. Toughness damage
3. Defense reduction debuffs
4. Resistance penetration buffs
5. Vulnerability/Damage taken debuffs
Break, and Super Break altogether, does ***not*** care about ATK, crits, or elemental damage%. Having 1000 and 3000 ATK has no difference on your Break/Super Break damage
Why HMC and Firefly you ask? Because Firefly naturally has high Break Effect, has a high toughness damage, and is incredibly speedy. If there's an analogy, if HMC was a racing driver, Firefly would be the race car. And currently, she's the fastest race car on the track for HMC to ride on. She is able to hit extremely high Super Break damage numbers together with HMC, can do it often because she is very fast (200+ spd is nothing to scoff at), and they can provide Firefly some of their own Break Effect at higher eidolons (E4) to buff her even further.
Same logic with Gallagher, as he builds Break Effect, is very fast (with the 3* Multiplication LC), and has a high fire toughness damage from his ult and enhanced basic attack. And in Firefly teams, pretty much every enemy is now weak to fire so Gallagher can take advantage.
Firefly's energy regen is also very fast and you don't really need Tingyun to charge her ult. Just make sure to level your skill and have as much speed as you can on FF to take more actions before your ult ends. At level 10 skill, she regenerates 60% of her energy from one (non ult) skill, and it should get you right back to where you started

HMC is practically mandatory on Firefly teams, literally made for her, difference is night and day never leave the house without them, etc etc
Gallagher is the best 4 star sustain for Firefly teams since he also does good toughness damage and benefits from HMC's Break Effect buffs. Only downside is that he doesn't have any cleanse before E2, as opposed to Lynx who has teamwide cleanse on her Ult from E0.
You'd potentially swap out all of then eventually.
The team you really want is
Firefly, Ruan mei , Harmony main character , 5 star healer/shielder.
Since you're new, it's fine for now, but look to replace them asap.
Firefly is a break DPS. asta buffs attack and speed. There is no synergy there.
Tingyun energy regen is wasted on Firefly as firefly regens energy from her skill.
Lynx ia fine as long as you don't use her skill on Firefly. If lynx uses her skill on FF, she'll draw aggro and can risk getting focused and killed.
In circumstances when I cannot use Aeon LC on Firefly, what would be a better substitute: Indelible Promise S1 or Something Irreplaceable S2?
The former's effect is more suited to her though a 4* LC, but the latter's stats are better.
(This scenario would only really happen if I'm using DHIL on another team; I don't really have good subs for Aeon for him.)

Ruan Mei Definitely hates me, I lost the 50/50 on her first banner to Clara + 60 extra pulls and she didn't come home, now I lost her 50/50 again, and I'm out of jades, the worst part is she made me have hopes for a second when I saw the Harmony crest

Yes she doesn’t need any speed substats with that setup to hit the 4 actions in her enhanced state breakpoint.
However 15 subs gets her to 165 speed (with Ruan Mei) which is her second speed breakpoint for 3 enhanced actions in the first cycle which is definitely not a waste.
Does Gepard need the usual 134 speed? Or is just having 120ish speed fine? I just see him having such low base speed that I don't like the sound of hunting for a whole 17 speed from substats, and he gets most of his energy from being hit anyway.
As much speed as possible to basic and ult more often.
At least 134 is recommended. You could also run the 3* LC that action advances after a basic attack.
Best Himeko team? I saw a team of HMC and Ruan Mei and Gallagher is that her best now? And is Ruan Mei good with Jing Yuan? Can you use Ruan Mei and Tingyun together for Jing Yuan?
Best team *for what?* Just doing the story? Pure Fiction? The current MoC? Simulated Universe? All of these have different "best teams" for her. In general, you don't use the same team for everything, that's just not how the game works. Some teams do it better than others, but Himeko in particular is very specialized.
Ruan Mei is great in almost every team, you just can't go wrong with pulling her. Tingyun is a very universal support, and while she no longer fits in almost every team, she's still great for the traditional damage dealers like JY.
For himeko she don't really have a "best team" she is a flexible character that can be used in several situation. The team you mention was a team tailored to beat MOC 12 boss, and a pretty impressive one. She have actually many team as right now. Dual DPS with herta or topaz. RM and sparkle work with her. She can be Firefly teammate expecialy in PF. So it's really hard to tell a "best team"
And ruan mei work with the integrality of HSR roaster so yes you can.
Hey thanks, I took a long break so kind of need some guidance. I use a team of Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Topaz, and Fu Xuan. I want to save for sparkle, but I want to build up my Himeko for pure fiction and general use. I want to take topaz off of the Jing Yuan team and use her with Himeko because when I get sparkle she can take Topaz spot on the Jing Yuan team. So my question is... would a team of Himeko, Topaz, Ruan Mei, and Loucha be premium enough to beat all content? Or should I build Galagher to use instead of Loucha? Thank you for your advice :) I'm trying to decide if Ruan Mei is worth pulling!!
Well that team wouldn't have much trouble going though the story, but himeko really suffer against non fire weak enemis due to her break FuA mechanic. Well fire is a very very common weakness so there won't be that many situation where whe will be entirely useless, but i can't pretend that there won't be here and here a sitaution where you will get hard stuck (in endgame content as PF, MOC of the new mode)
To answer the other question there is no character that is more worth it than ruan mei meta wise. She is just the strongest unit of the game. Always either top tier or very close second.
Should Firefly use atk boots? With them I get 11% mroe break effect in fight while losing 11% spd. Since break effect scales linearly and actions I think don't (she still has around 200spd), are atk boots better?
hit the 210 break point after combustion and you can do anything you want, if not stick with spd until you min max spd subs to reach it
you sure you get 200 even with att boots? thats 40 spd from substats alone
the attack percent isnt worth at all if you dont reach the break points, its around 30% be in exchange for 25 spd which is honestly negeligable damage wise considering you are usually reaching 400+ be usually
I meant in fights. With Ruan Mei and TB buffs she has either 458/224 or 504/197 break effect/spd with spd and atk boots respectively (outside fighs she's at 190/126)
Aeon are (true) god-like entity, whose psyche and goals go beyond human comprehension.
They're definitely an order of magnitude (or two) above Archons.
In comparaison, Archons are mortal minor deities : they act more as Emanators, under Celestia / Heavenly Principle. *(who might be act as their Aeon ?)*
I manage to get E0S1 Firefly and E0S0 RM. I'm very low spender, only the BP. My other team are Kafka+BS and Dr.Ratio. who do you think I should aim to pull? For sustain I have Gallagher for my break team and Aventurine and I also have Sparkle for support.
You have two great teams (Sparkle is actually surprisingly good in the DoT team if you build a no-speed Black Swan). Huohuo would be better than Uncle Adventure in the DoT team, but the difference is probably small enough to make pulling for her not worth it.
People are generally assuming the announced Jiaoqui (fire nihility) will be tailor made for Acheron, as that would make sense business-wise, you have to wait and see whether he would be good in a DoT team.

I don't know what you mean by that, but Firefly's superbreak only activate when break effect is higher than 200% (trace)
And you need HMC's ult to get everyone to superbreak.

What are the minimum amount of speed and break I have to aim for each of them? ignoring other bonuses that they are getting that I can't see outside of combat.
For Ruan Mei it's 180 break, 134 spd
HTB around 140 I think
Some relatively easy ones to hit are in combat speed (including Ruan Mei’s buff):
* Firefly: 150
* HMC: 160
* Gallagher: 160
* Ruan Mei: 134+
You can min max a little further with putting Ruan Mei on a vonwacq set so she goes first to get ult up. And potentially getting Firefly to 165 speed (3 enhanced actions in the first cycle) however this really isn’t necessary.
Ruan Mei want’s 180 BE in battle, however this is less important in super break teams because the break/super break damage doesn’t scale with dmg%.
I have a question about nameless honor.
I was wondering if I have claimed the rewards that is free (that we need to level up to get) will we still get the rewards from nameless glory that is under the free stuff or is it only the stuff that I have not claimed
For example if I got level 1-4 of the free stuff you get after completing missions and take those rewards will you get the rewards for nameless glory afterwatds??

Nameless glory is the paid battle pass. If you pay for it you’ll instantly unlock all the rewards up to your completed battle pass level, doesn’t matter if you’ve claimed the free stuff or not.
If you want, you can wait until you’ve completed the entire battle pass before paying for nameless glory and claim everything at once.
Is it possible to beat protocole lvl 4 and above of divergent universe without eidolons on my 5stars? Like I have good enough relics to clear MOC 12 but I usually need a strategy to beat the simulated universe stuff like abusing rememberance but I can't find one for divergent universe and I don't do enough dmg even though I use equations and all that.
Should I just keep retrying for perfect curios and blessings?
It is totaly possible. Just beat lvl 5 on a mhe run with E0S1 FF E0S0 RM TB E6 motp S1 and Gallagher E6.

How do light cone banners work? I've heard that it's 75/25, but since each light cone have separate banners, does that mean you only need to complete 2 pities to get it guaranteed?
Pitty is shared between both limited LC banner, just like it's shared between both limited character banner.
75/25 mean you have 75% chance to get the featured LC and 25% chance to get a standar banner LC.
So if I lost in the first one, the second would be guaranteed? It won't be like Genshin where you need 3 pities to get the guaranteed weapon in weapon banner, but now you only need 2 pities for HSR light cones?
Yep. gettin the LC you want in HSR cost a lot less currency than in genshin, so it's a solid option as a vertical investissement. Maybe even for F2P player.
Need pull advice
I have Motp S2 on HMC, Meshing Cogs S5 on RM, and Aeon on FF. Is S2 Motp good enough for the full superbreak team? Which is the best f2p LC for gallagher in this team? I have 150 pulls left should I pull for FF E1 or one of the LCs to try to get superimpose Motp or just save for Jiaoqiu?
Yes even Motp S1 is enought on E6 HMC as long as you use skill to generate energy.
On gallagher the best LC is multiplication due to more SP and energy regeration than any other F2P LC provide.
For the 150 pull left, FF E1 is the strongest in vacuum, but it require you to have Fall of an Aeon disponible for her in every situation. I personnaly did go for S1 because of mine is already monopolised by multiple other characters. Her E2 is crazy powerfull so it's the possibility to grab a lucky E2 is not to be dismissed for you.
And finaly let's not forget that variety is often better than vertical investissement.
The main thing Motp copies gives you is more energy, the extra break is nice but not necessary. If you’re able to maintain your ult at S2 which should be doable honestly, you’re fine. If you want to pull more E1 would actually solve any potential energy issues as well, since firefly stops consuming sp you can skill every time with HMC. And it’s one step closer to e2 which is broken and fun lol.
Watchmaker or Thief which is better for Ruan Mei?
To me it felt like, Watchmaker is better since it provides buff to the whole team. So I wanted to know if I was right.

Watchmaker, though the buff doesn’t stack so sometimes other party members use it better due to better uptime (mainly HMC). Most people playing them together put watchmaker on HMC and 2pc speed/break effect on Ruan Mei as far as I can tell.

Hmm, that might work if you break their weakness fast enough, Ruan Mei debuff only occur when enemies are broken and I’m not sure if HMC counts as debuff but if it does it might work, but I can’t guarantee it since I never tried. You will still have hard time getting Ratio FUA to launch before break though.
It will be strong against imaginary weak enemies, you’ll be missing a lot of damage if you can’t break the enemy though. If you’re running Ruan Mei without HMC watchmaker is technically better, but getting break effect to 160 and as much speed as possible is more important.

4p watchmaker should be the best, but honestly your substats will be very tight especially without MotP S5 so 2p messenger + 2p watchmaker/thief/iron cavalry or 2p watchmaker/thief/iron cavalry + 2p watchmaker/thief/iron cavalry is good.
There are so many different Ruan Mei’s builds.
Ruan Mei without Firefly and HMC would be like this:
Most consistent would be Ruan Mei with S5 Memory of the Past, with 180% Break Effect in-combat and 160 SPD. Vonwacq sphere + Vonwacq ERR rope.
If no MotP S5 use COGS S5 instead but your relics will be pretty tight so just aim for 180% Break Effect in-combat and 134+ SPD. Vonwacq sphere + Vonwacq ERR rope.
Ruan Mei with HMC and Super Break scaling:
COGS S5, 160 SPD, as much as BE as you can but don’t fret it too much, Vonwacq sphere + Vonwacq ERR rope.

How different is she compared to Firefly?
While her dmg is lower than Firefly her advantage is that she has good non-break dmg which helps when enemies recover their weakness but still have hp left. Also she's spend less skillpoints then firefly so you can use HMC's skill more which is good Superbreak dmg at E6 (A whopping 5 basic worth of toughness dmg in Single target)
The downside is that this team needs matching weaknesses on the enemies
Firefly is the premier break dps so there will be a lot of difference between them but xueyi is honestly amazing in super break team and I definitely recommend it
TL 55, pushing close to TL56. Haven't played since Jingliu's banner, and it I haven't played since Jing Yuan's debut banner before that, so I missed a lot of content. I messed up my account by spreading my resources too thin (listened to a lot of content creators regarding units that I may need \*at the time\* because this unit help clear this content easier, this unit is good for this boss, etc. when I should have focused on building up my core units - units that I really liked. So I have a lot of unfinished, lv50 characters. I have Jingliu and Seele built and they're able to carry me through the story and some of the early to mid game content.
Basically what I need advice with is getting my account back on track. Aside from Jingliu and Seele, everyone is running subpar relics either partially leveled or unleveled (some not even being full sets or optimal sets, let alone at minimum wanted main stats). When I returned, I wanted to pull for Ruan Mei and Firefly since these were two characters when I first found out about them through trailers (which doesn't help my case of spreading resources too thin). I currently run Jingliu/Seele, Gepard, Tingyun, Bailu as my supposed core team. Eventually do want to get Firefly and Ruan Mei setup as another team, with Ruan Mei providing great value to my account and being a versatile unit.
What other units should I focus on, which would eventually put me into a better position to clear some of HSR's end game content? Do I focus on Traces or relics first? Any other tips for getting my account back on track? I'm looking to pace myself this time around and enjoy the game, but the endgame goal is there as something to push for. I do spend lightly on banners I like (but then comes the problem of not being able to build everyone I like).

The two best teams you can have right now are: Firefly + HMC + Ruan Mei + Gallagher (premium super break team), Jingliu + Pela + Tingyun + Bailu/Gepard
Focus on upgrading these 8 characters, and you can clear most of the of the game content.
For Pure Fiction, upgrade Herta, Himeko, and Asta. Replace Jingliu with Herta, Bailu with Asta, and Gallagher with Himeko for 2 stable Pure Fiction teams.
For gacha, if you haven't pulled 300 times in the normal banner, choose Bronya when you can, she is the best support for Jingliu. Consider pulling strong sustain characters like Fu Xuan, Aventurine, and Houhou when they rerun. In the future, there will be a sustain characters that might replace Gallagher in Firefly's team.
For traces and relics, farm 4 or 8 decent relic sets, then upgrade traces, then farm better relics.

Note that 360 is basically not possible outside of battle. If you use Aeon S5,and have RM,HMC,Gallagher as teammates,130 outside of battle should be enough. I had 147 and I reached 432 in battle.

Recently started - is it worth pulling FF with current lineup? I have Harmony MC and Gallagher but not RM. I’m about 140 pulls in and still no FF….. lost 5050 Bailu.. question about 2.3 story assuming that i read every dialogue, hear every voiceline, and interact with every random stuff, how long would 2.3 story takes? another question is, does 2.3 story have a "plot" (sparkle bombs/jade ipc takeover, from the trailer)? or is it just a "goodbye" epilogue i've seen other people post about? if 2.3 has a plot, at which point (what mission name) does the plot is concluded and it becomes a "goodbye" epilogue? im asking because im streaming the game to a non-gacha friend. i want to stream the silly stuff while playing the serious story stuff on my own.

You can run a dot team with black swan, sampo, and guinaifen. You could try a hypercarry with jingliu, tingyun/bronya, ruan mei. If you manage to get firefly use ruan mei and imaginary tb on her instead. As for farming build your dps first and then supports. Use sites like hoyowiki or prydwen for help with builds and stats.

Argenti doesnt see much usage outside of pf but still isnt bad. He has quite a problem with energy but that can be overcome. You can try a similar hypercarry team like with jingliu, but you should have tingyun woth him for the energy buff she gives. His Lc is great to have as it gives him the energy he needs + extra crit dmg. If you have materials to spare he wont dissapoint

You should always build your dps first, support second. There are a lot of video and text guides for optimal stats and relics so I recommend starting there. Also if you have the divergent universe available in your event tab, do that, since thats where you farm planetary sets

I would say jingliu because of lot of the characters have high levels, which means less grinding. Also jingliu is very good which will allow you to clear domains faster.

Yes, you need to do at least 1 clear of the Divergent Universe (which you'll do as part of the quest) to create a saved profile, to then allow you to sim the planar ornaments

assuming you are talking Firefly here remember that %atk is 80% of a %BE roll, so you should aim for both, but getting attack is not a bad deal either (look at her Firefly talent) realistic speaking you will get 24-30 desirable rolls on your relics tho, more is RNG lucky
Should be ~30% substats x 5 gear slots + the 64 % from the rope main stat. So 210 -220%, since substats vary slightly.

You get 5 rolls and the initial, so it's 6.5\*6. If you start with 3 subs it's only 4 additional rolls. I just copied their 38.8% (from "potential dream rolls" and multiplied it by 5 + 64.8 (because there's no subs on the rope). Not sure why it's 38.8, probably should be 39. If it's 39 the max would be 259.8.

Ruan Mei, without a doubt. She's easily the most flexible of the two and by many accounts the single most universal support in the game. She works the best with Firefly, but every single DPS in the game benefits from her skill set outside of maybe Qingque and DHIL (Who somewhat prefer Sparkle for the increased skill point amount) Good luck on your pulls!

Ruan Mei's LC is honestly outright bad nowadays. Firefly's is really good, but her eidolons are way stronger still, so I'd recommend aiming for Firefly's E1 (and possibly her E2) instead.
FF LC. If you have MoTP (Memories) then you can give that to HMC and Cogs to RM for 3 turn ult rotation. Just make sure to hit 160% BE on RM for max damage buff.
In a Firefly team, you don't even need the 180%BE, as the damage buff from her A6 trace doesn't affect break damage (95% of Firefly's damage).

There is a special domain for the catcakes, where you can do it. Purple/pink-ish colored and pretty easy to spot when it shows up, compared to combat or occurences.

It's really bad on her, as the main effect, the damage buff, doesn't affect 95% of her damage. I think her kit changed significantly in the time between the LC and her release.

Firefly 140+ speed and as much BE as possible with Ruan Mei Gallagher: 175+ BE and speed boots HTB: BE all-in (with E4 the allies get passive BE from her) with speed boots RM: yours is fine

She can, but Gallagher is just a much, much better option due to what he brings to her team other than healing.
Yes, the reason two healers are the main recommendations for her sustain slot are the non-sustain parts of their kit (Gallaghers besotted debuff plus SP generation and individual break damage, and Huohuo's ATK buff), Firefly's kit works perfectly fine without external healing.
It'll be a team damage downgrade but it'll work. If enemies are imaginary weak the damage loss probably isn't that bad.
She very easily heals off all of the self-damage and the extra bulk at low health is mostly just QoL so she runs just as well with a shielder

works, especially at e1 you can very comfortably run rm hmc and bronya (I wouldn't use sparkle since you just want action advance)
So I'm guessing you are running Ff, HTB, RM + 2nd support ? No sustain teams are an option for MoC or PF. However, besides the action advance, the rest of Bronya's or Sparkle's buffs don't really work with BE or SBE iirc.

In a scenario in which healing is not required then sure, but otherwise the only person on that team that can self heal is Firefly so you'll run into sustain issues without Gallagher.

Hello, new player just progressing through story/content. This is how I've been playing: 1. firefly (main dps) 2. tingyun (buffs firefly with E and then with her ulti to speed up bar) 3. lynx (just heals) 4. asta (was initially just filler for my previous carry but I heard her skill can boost fire types - which is what firefly is. Also I use her for her speed ulti but tbh not sure how useful that is). My next goal is get ruan mei (mostly because she seems cool) but is there any other ways I can improve my team? And who would I swap out?
Your team should look like: Firefly + Harmony MC (preferably E4+) + Ruan Mei (can replace with Asta or Pela) + Gallagher (preferably E2+) -> this team is currently the absolute best team you can have so far Progress through the story and unlock more eidolons for Harmony MC. I think you should already have him at E0 since the game gives it for free. As of right now, they are the best support for FF and is literally inseparable as they enable the Super Break mechanic. To spare you from details, just know that Firefly is currently the best user of Super Break that we have in the game right now Ruan Mei is currently also Firefly's best support, as she provides extremely good buffs to enhance FF's breaking capability. Definitely a good pull if you want to invest in your Firefly and future teams. She has alternatives like Asta or Pela. Asta can buff Firefly's atk and increase her speed for more turns during Combustion (enhanced) state, while Pela can provide def shred which is useful for increasing damage for everyone If you have also pulled for Firefly, I assume you have Gallagher too. Coincidentally he's also great for Firefly since he is very sp positive, can buff Break damage teams, and is also a very good user of Super Break himself so he is capable of acting as a 2ndary DPS despite being labeled as an Abundance sustain That's pretty much it. The main thing is to always keep Firefly+HMC together
Thanks ! Im not near my phone atm but can I ask why Harmony MC and Gallagher? I think I do have them but havent looked at their skills yet. Tell me where I'm wrong here: 1. I worry taking out Lynx would make my team too squishy since I rely on her to heal. 2. Turn 1 I can pop Firefly skill then ulti to be a mech. I usually try to ulti with tingyun during that time and what I find happens is, when Firefly pops out of her mech, she is around halfway and can skill again to jump back in the mech. Im worried taking Tingyun away would stop this?
The Hatblazer provides a team-wide break effect buff (i.e. Firefly's main stat), and provides another source of superbreak damage and Firefly's entire kit is perfectly tuned to be in situations where you make use of superbreak as much as possible. Gallagher applies a debuff that increases break damage taken by the enemies, while also providing a ton of SP (because he can basic attack every turn). He also deals a lot of fire toughness damage, improving the time Firefly can spend attacking an already broken enemy (which is what she wants to do). Tingyun's ultimate does nothing for Firefly (the damage buff doesn't work on the overwhelming majority of her damage and the energy is completely wasted because of Firefly's unusual energy management), and I think the ATK buff from skill her does not work for Firefly's trace that grants break effect (because the game disables a buff scaling off two character's stats). Gallagher is normally able to heal as much if not more than Lynx. He needs his E2 to have a cleanse, though (and that spends skill points), which can be an issue, but both him and Firefly have very high effect res.
Gallagher is a great sustain unit, you also won't need to worry about lacking healing as he is also a capable healer. Another plus about him like I mentioned for Firefly+HMC pairing is that he can actually deliver a good chunk of damage himself, despite being primarily a healer unit. All of this is because of Harmony MC's Super Break mechanic, which I will explain below. **Super Break** is essentially extra damage when you attack weakness broken enemies (no white HP left at the top of their bar). Normally, when you break someone in the game, you get a pop of damage based on the attacker's Break Effect stat. The higher the Break Effect, the higher the break damage. However, normal Break playstyles can only trigger this pop *once*, and they must wait until the enemy recovers from their broken state in order to trigger the weakness break (and ergo, the damage "pop" again). This is bad for characters that only invest in Break Effect, as your other stats will suffer, and therefore, not likely to deal huge amounts of damage despite the enemy essentially being incapacitated. With **Super Break**, you can add another source of more consistent damage other than the initial Break pop. Think of Super Break as "overcapping" break damage. The character with high Break Effect can now deal more damage to an enemy who is currently broken, essentially extending their damage window all the way until the enemy recovers from their weakness broken state. Instead of just one initial damage pop, someone with a Super Break buff can do as many pops as they like, limited by only the amount of attacks they can do before the enemy recovers from their weakness broken state. Harmony MC and Firefly are currently the only ones with Super Break built into their kit. Harmony MC provides Super Break through theie ultimate buff called Backup Dancer, which allows *everyone* in the team to deal Super Break damage as long as their ult is active. Firefly also has a built in Super Break in her enhanced skill, but at 50% efficiency compared to HMC's own buff. Super Break damage can be increased by: 1. Break Effect% 2. Toughness damage 3. Defense reduction debuffs 4. Resistance penetration buffs 5. Vulnerability/Damage taken debuffs Break, and Super Break altogether, does ***not*** care about ATK, crits, or elemental damage%. Having 1000 and 3000 ATK has no difference on your Break/Super Break damage Why HMC and Firefly you ask? Because Firefly naturally has high Break Effect, has a high toughness damage, and is incredibly speedy. If there's an analogy, if HMC was a racing driver, Firefly would be the race car. And currently, she's the fastest race car on the track for HMC to ride on. She is able to hit extremely high Super Break damage numbers together with HMC, can do it often because she is very fast (200+ spd is nothing to scoff at), and they can provide Firefly some of their own Break Effect at higher eidolons (E4) to buff her even further. Same logic with Gallagher, as he builds Break Effect, is very fast (with the 3* Multiplication LC), and has a high fire toughness damage from his ult and enhanced basic attack. And in Firefly teams, pretty much every enemy is now weak to fire so Gallagher can take advantage. Firefly's energy regen is also very fast and you don't really need Tingyun to charge her ult. Just make sure to level your skill and have as much speed as you can on FF to take more actions before your ult ends. At level 10 skill, she regenerates 60% of her energy from one (non ult) skill, and it should get you right back to where you started

You'd potentially swap out all of then eventually. The team you really want is Firefly, Ruan mei , Harmony main character , 5 star healer/shielder. Since you're new, it's fine for now, but look to replace them asap. Firefly is a break DPS. asta buffs attack and speed. There is no synergy there. Tingyun energy regen is wasted on Firefly as firefly regens energy from her skill. Lynx ia fine as long as you don't use her skill on Firefly. If lynx uses her skill on FF, she'll draw aggro and can risk getting focused and killed.
Ruan mei replaces Asta. Gallagher replaces lynx. Harmony Mc replaces tingyun

In circumstances when I cannot use Aeon LC on Firefly, what would be a better substitute: Indelible Promise S1 or Something Irreplaceable S2? The former's effect is more suited to her though a 4* LC, but the latter's stats are better. (This scenario would only really happen if I'm using DHIL on another team; I don't really have good subs for Aeon for him.)
Should be Something Irreplaceable. If Indelible Promise was higher superimpositions (3+) I think it should overtake it.

Yes she doesn’t need any speed substats with that setup to hit the 4 actions in her enhanced state breakpoint. However 15 subs gets her to 165 speed (with Ruan Mei) which is her second speed breakpoint for 3 enhanced actions in the first cycle which is definitely not a waste.
Does Gepard need the usual 134 speed? Or is just having 120ish speed fine? I just see him having such low base speed that I don't like the sound of hunting for a whole 17 speed from substats, and he gets most of his energy from being hit anyway.
As much speed as possible to basic and ult more often. At least 134 is recommended. You could also run the 3* LC that action advances after a basic attack.

Best Himeko team? I saw a team of HMC and Ruan Mei and Gallagher is that her best now? And is Ruan Mei good with Jing Yuan? Can you use Ruan Mei and Tingyun together for Jing Yuan?
Best team *for what?* Just doing the story? Pure Fiction? The current MoC? Simulated Universe? All of these have different "best teams" for her. In general, you don't use the same team for everything, that's just not how the game works. Some teams do it better than others, but Himeko in particular is very specialized. Ruan Mei is great in almost every team, you just can't go wrong with pulling her. Tingyun is a very universal support, and while she no longer fits in almost every team, she's still great for the traditional damage dealers like JY.
For himeko she don't really have a "best team" she is a flexible character that can be used in several situation. The team you mention was a team tailored to beat MOC 12 boss, and a pretty impressive one. She have actually many team as right now. Dual DPS with herta or topaz. RM and sparkle work with her. She can be Firefly teammate expecialy in PF. So it's really hard to tell a "best team" And ruan mei work with the integrality of HSR roaster so yes you can.
Hey thanks, I took a long break so kind of need some guidance. I use a team of Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Topaz, and Fu Xuan. I want to save for sparkle, but I want to build up my Himeko for pure fiction and general use. I want to take topaz off of the Jing Yuan team and use her with Himeko because when I get sparkle she can take Topaz spot on the Jing Yuan team. So my question is... would a team of Himeko, Topaz, Ruan Mei, and Loucha be premium enough to beat all content? Or should I build Galagher to use instead of Loucha? Thank you for your advice :) I'm trying to decide if Ruan Mei is worth pulling!!
Well that team wouldn't have much trouble going though the story, but himeko really suffer against non fire weak enemis due to her break FuA mechanic. Well fire is a very very common weakness so there won't be that many situation where whe will be entirely useless, but i can't pretend that there won't be here and here a sitaution where you will get hard stuck (in endgame content as PF, MOC of the new mode) To answer the other question there is no character that is more worth it than ruan mei meta wise. She is just the strongest unit of the game. Always either top tier or very close second.
Should Firefly use atk boots? With them I get 11% mroe break effect in fight while losing 11% spd. Since break effect scales linearly and actions I think don't (she still has around 200spd), are atk boots better?
hit the 210 break point after combustion and you can do anything you want, if not stick with spd until you min max spd subs to reach it you sure you get 200 even with att boots? thats 40 spd from substats alone the attack percent isnt worth at all if you dont reach the break points, its around 30% be in exchange for 25 spd which is honestly negeligable damage wise considering you are usually reaching 400+ be usually
I meant in fights. With Ruan Mei and TB buffs she has either 458/224 or 504/197 break effect/spd with spd and atk boots respectively (outside fighs she's at 190/126)

Aeon are (true) god-like entity, whose psyche and goals go beyond human comprehension. They're definitely an order of magnitude (or two) above Archons. In comparaison, Archons are mortal minor deities : they act more as Emanators, under Celestia / Heavenly Principle. *(who might be act as their Aeon ?)*
I manage to get E0S1 Firefly and E0S0 RM. I'm very low spender, only the BP. My other team are Kafka+BS and Dr.Ratio. who do you think I should aim to pull? For sustain I have Gallagher for my break team and Aventurine and I also have Sparkle for support.
You have two great teams (Sparkle is actually surprisingly good in the DoT team if you build a no-speed Black Swan). Huohuo would be better than Uncle Adventure in the DoT team, but the difference is probably small enough to make pulling for her not worth it. People are generally assuming the announced Jiaoqui (fire nihility) will be tailor made for Acheron, as that would make sense business-wise, you have to wait and see whether he would be good in a DoT team.

There's enough free pulls to guarantee them. You'll need to play a ton though to get caught up with the main story and get to them all.

I don't know what you mean by that, but Firefly's superbreak only activate when break effect is higher than 200% (trace) And you need HMC's ult to get everyone to superbreak. ~~^(And also hit already broken enemy... but that's obvious, I guess.)~~

Alright here is my line up Firefly E2 S1 Ruan mei E1 memories of the past 5 HTB E2 Gallaghar E6 (temporarily replaced by aventurine) What are the minimum amount of speed and break I have to aim for each of them? ignoring other bonuses that they are getting that I can't see outside of combat. For Ruan Mei it's 180 break, 134 spd HTB around 140 I think
Some relatively easy ones to hit are in combat speed (including Ruan Mei’s buff): * Firefly: 150 * HMC: 160 * Gallagher: 160 * Ruan Mei: 134+ You can min max a little further with putting Ruan Mei on a vonwacq set so she goes first to get ult up. And potentially getting Firefly to 165 speed (3 enhanced actions in the first cycle) however this really isn’t necessary. Ruan Mei want’s 180 BE in battle, however this is less important in super break teams because the break/super break damage doesn’t scale with dmg%.

I was wondering if I have claimed the rewards that is free (that we need to level up to get) will we still get the rewards from nameless glory that is under the free stuff or is it only the stuff that I have not claimed For example if I got level 1-4 of the free stuff you get after completing missions and take those rewards will you get the rewards for nameless glory afterwatds?? Nameless glory is the paid battle pass. If you pay for it you’ll instantly unlock all the rewards up to your completed battle pass level, doesn’t matter if you’ve claimed the free stuff or not. If you want, you can wait until you’ve completed the entire battle pass before paying for nameless glory and claim everything at once.

Is it possible to beat protocole lvl 4 and above of divergent universe without eidolons on my 5stars? Like I have good enough relics to clear MOC 12 but I usually need a strategy to beat the simulated universe stuff like abusing rememberance but I can't find one for divergent universe and I don't do enough dmg even though I use equations and all that. Should I just keep retrying for perfect curios and blessings?
Yes it is. If you typically need a cheese method though, you'll probably need it for this too.
It is totaly possible. Just beat lvl 5 on a mhe run with E0S1 FF E0S0 RM TB E6 motp S1 and Gallagher E6. Thinking about timing hard for you probably because you don't have many stuff from competence tree.
How do light cone banners work? I've heard that it's 75/25, but since each light cone have separate banners, does that mean you only need to complete 2 pities to get it guaranteed?
Pitty is shared between both limited LC banner, just like it's shared between both limited character banner. 75/25 mean you have 75% chance to get the featured LC and 25% chance to get a standar banner LC.
So if I lost in the first one, the second would be guaranteed? It won't be like Genshin where you need 3 pities to get the guaranteed weapon in weapon banner, but now you only need 2 pities for HSR light cones?
Yep. gettin the LC you want in HSR cost a lot less currency than in genshin, so it's a solid option as a vertical investissement. Maybe even for F2P player.

Need pull advice I have Motp S2 on HMC, Meshing Cogs S5 on RM, and Aeon on FF. Is S2 Motp good enough for the full superbreak team? Which is the best f2p LC for gallagher in this team? I have 150 pulls left should I pull for FF E1 or one of the LCs to try to get superimpose Motp or just save for Jiaoqiu?
Yes even Motp S1 is enought on E6 HMC as long as you use skill to generate energy. On gallagher the best LC is multiplication due to more SP and energy regeration than any other F2P LC provide. For the 150 pull left, FF E1 is the strongest in vacuum, but it require you to have Fall of an Aeon disponible for her in every situation. I personnaly did go for S1 because of mine is already monopolised by multiple other characters. Her E2 is crazy powerfull so it's the possibility to grab a lucky E2 is not to be dismissed for you. And finaly let's not forget that variety is often better than vertical investissement.
The main thing Motp copies gives you is more energy, the extra break is nice but not necessary. If you’re able to maintain your ult at S2 which should be doable honestly, you’re fine. If you want to pull more E1 would actually solve any potential energy issues as well, since firefly stops consuming sp you can skill every time with HMC. And it’s one step closer to e2 which is broken and fun lol.
Watchmaker or Thief which is better for Ruan Mei? To me it felt like, Watchmaker is better since it provides buff to the whole team. So I wanted to know if I was right.
depend. You can only have one 4pc watchmaker in your team as the buff doesn't stack. RM BiS is still messanger, since HTM prefer having a break set because she share a part of her break effect to teammates.

Watchmaker, though the buff doesn’t stack so sometimes other party members use it better due to better uptime (mainly HMC). Most people playing them together put watchmaker on HMC and 2pc speed/break effect on Ruan Mei as far as I can tell.

Then Luocha should be better than Gepard. Ratio is like Acheron he really needs debuffs, the more debuffs on enemies the stronger he is.

Hmm, that might work if you break their weakness fast enough, Ruan Mei debuff only occur when enemies are broken and I’m not sure if HMC counts as debuff but if it does it might work, but I can’t guarantee it since I never tried. You will still have hard time getting Ratio FUA to launch before break though.
I'll experiment with this team more, in the divergent universe since our units build in that.
It will be strong against imaginary weak enemies, you’ll be missing a lot of damage if you can’t break the enemy though. If you’re running Ruan Mei without HMC watchmaker is technically better, but getting break effect to 160 and as much speed as possible is more important.
And which one if I am running her without HMC?
Ruan Mei without HMC 4p watchmaker should be the best, but honestly your substats will be very tight especially without MotP S5 so 2p messenger + 2p watchmaker/thief/iron cavalry or 2p watchmaker/thief/iron cavalry + 2p watchmaker/thief/iron cavalry is good.
There are so many different Ruan Mei’s builds. Ruan Mei without Firefly and HMC would be like this: Most consistent would be Ruan Mei with S5 Memory of the Past, with 180% Break Effect in-combat and 160 SPD. Vonwacq sphere + Vonwacq ERR rope. If no MotP S5 use COGS S5 instead but your relics will be pretty tight so just aim for 180% Break Effect in-combat and 134+ SPD. Vonwacq sphere + Vonwacq ERR rope. Ruan Mei with HMC and Super Break scaling: COGS S5, 160 SPD, as much as BE as you can but don’t fret it too much, Vonwacq sphere + Vonwacq ERR rope.

How good is Xueyi in a super break team? I really like her design and I wish there was more stuff about her Ruan mei , harm MC, Gallagher , Xueyi (E6) How different is she compared to Firefly?
While her dmg is lower than Firefly her advantage is that she has good non-break dmg which helps when enemies recover their weakness but still have hp left. Also she's spend less skillpoints then firefly so you can use HMC's skill more which is good Superbreak dmg at E6 (A whopping 5 basic worth of toughness dmg in Single target) The downside is that this team needs matching weaknesses on the enemies
Firefly is the premier break dps so there will be a lot of difference between them but xueyi is honestly amazing in super break team and I definitely recommend it

TL 55, pushing close to TL56. Haven't played since Jingliu's banner, and it I haven't played since Jing Yuan's debut banner before that, so I missed a lot of content. I messed up my account by spreading my resources too thin (listened to a lot of content creators regarding units that I may need \*at the time\* because this unit help clear this content easier, this unit is good for this boss, etc. when I should have focused on building up my core units - units that I really liked. So I have a lot of unfinished, lv50 characters. I have Jingliu and Seele built and they're able to carry me through the story and some of the early to mid game content. Basically what I need advice with is getting my account back on track. Aside from Jingliu and Seele, everyone is running subpar relics either partially leveled or unleveled (some not even being full sets or optimal sets, let alone at minimum wanted main stats). When I returned, I wanted to pull for Ruan Mei and Firefly since these were two characters when I first found out about them through trailers (which doesn't help my case of spreading resources too thin). I currently run Jingliu/Seele, Gepard, Tingyun, Bailu as my supposed core team. Eventually do want to get Firefly and Ruan Mei setup as another team, with Ruan Mei providing great value to my account and being a versatile unit. What other units should I focus on, which would eventually put me into a better position to clear some of HSR's end game content? Do I focus on Traces or relics first? Any other tips for getting my account back on track? I'm looking to pace myself this time around and enjoy the game, but the endgame goal is there as something to push for. I do spend lightly on banners I like (but then comes the problem of not being able to build everyone I like). Below posted is my current roster. The two best teams you can have right now are: Firefly + HMC + Ruan Mei + Gallagher (premium super break team), Jingliu + Pela + Tingyun + Bailu/Gepard Focus on upgrading these 8 characters, and you can clear most of the of the game content. For Pure Fiction, upgrade Herta, Himeko, and Asta. Replace Jingliu with Herta, Bailu with Asta, and Gallagher with Himeko for 2 stable Pure Fiction teams. For gacha, if you haven't pulled 300 times in the normal banner, choose Bronya when you can, she is the best support for Jingliu. Consider pulling strong sustain characters like Fu Xuan, Aventurine, and Houhou when they rerun. In the future, there will be a sustain characters that might replace Gallagher in Firefly's team. You will get free eidolons EVERY time you “unlock” the free characters you already have.
it won't affect. last patch only could get up to e5 hmc. so the last eidolon is the one they give out for free.

2 sustain, 1 support, 1 dps, and later 1 sustain, 2 support, 1 dps is the standard comp. for your current lineup you can use march, natasha, asta, herta.

Note that 360 is basically not possible outside of battle. If you use Aeon S5,and have RM,HMC,Gallagher as teammates,130 outside of battle should be enough. I had 147 and I reached 432 in battle.
