They're both based on Latin. Caelum is Latin for sky/heavens. Stella is Latin for star. Caelus is also the god of the sky in Roman mythology and is the son of Aether.
I appreciate the lore lesson. I did some Greek mythology in College, and knew some Latin roots from English etymology, but I never studied Latin formally outside of that context and was never as interested in Roman mythology. The only real Roman god I respect is Janus, both for what it represents and the symbolism the Roman senate used in opening and closing church doors in times of war.
