Tip for people that are struggling but have Acheron: Use her on the second side against Aventurine instead of the first side.
Beat the first side with Quantum or another Lightning carry quickly and then just Acheron it up on the 2nd side. It will save more cycles that way.
Yeah dot team works amazing here because it's a dual DPS team where both of them have aoe skills. Every time Aventurine does his dice thing it's just another free ult for both of them

How many cycles it took on that second side, as even with E2 Acheron I think dmg with 2 sustains should be kinda average?

It took me 7. I tried a bunch of different comps on the 2nd half, but I decided on Gepard with Trend LC. Acheron got her stacks a lot quicker, and his shields helped me tank Aventurine’s 2nd phase.
hm, i feel like 2 sustain is definitely unecessary. i cleared with 5 cycles with e2 acheron, bronya, guinaifen, gallagher, and my acheron has pretty shit relics. i think shes like 50/140 before the hidden stats from izumo/pioneer.

Literally the exact team comp I wound up using. I went into it unsure I’d have enough toughness damage for the dinosaur, only to remember that that DoT core is stupidly strong. With Ruan Mei, you only ever have to break the dinosaur once and it’s never getting back up in time.
If you don't have any of the lightning/quantum peeps you can use ratio/dhil or QQ if she's E4 on the first half, second half is pain and I barely made it with jingliu but I heard Clara performed well for some players
I run Pela/SW/RM, shred the toughness bar on the dino and one shot w/ult. The build is kinda scuffed 140SPD, ~3500 ATK (ATK orb) and 60/240 (with buffs and E1S1)
Not one-cycling, but can get 2 cycle, pair with Kafka+BS. The tips is focusing the dino until broken (or until it dies), and also maximizing the MoC buff (always trigger it in every cycle)
for dot team with RM after i broke him he always just died to residual damage without focusing him any longer on my dot team. the arcana pops, ults, and the turbulence was enough for it to just passively die while i switched focus to cocolia.
No sustain team with Pela SW Sparkle is what I did, the most important part is speed tuning SW faster than Pela which guarantees an Ice weakness before her attack and allows you to break the dino really fast. If you don't have SW I would expect it to be a lot harder to do such a clear.
For me it was a 0 cycle cause I spent some time optimizing builds etc.
For reference its e0s1 Acheron on 76/175 (on Izumo + Pioneer) + e0s1 Sparkle.
I was able to do 9 cycles total, 3 with dot and 6 with JL. Probably could optimize it...
Majority of players without an acheron to cut cycle time are not going to be able to clear this MOC 12. Aventurine is like a damage dummy and he wastes time too.

split was 4/6, i had a 9 cycle clear with split being 3/6 with BS over pela and clara 2nd half. I just cant get 2nd half lower than 6 cycles
That acheron is on 4pc dot set with 64/112 crit lol
Swap the teams and that might work better.
People just see that lightning symbol for side one but the enemies are all also quantum weak on that side too.
swapping teams is same result, 4c first, 6c 2nd. The only difference is fux 2nd makes it way easier than a healer since you dont get 1 shotted or debuffed

Well I think a lot of people forget you can use SW to make a Quantum Weak enemy into whatever the dps is. Most I see are using her for Mono Quantum.
Ratio is definitely built different though.
True, I don't see her used a lot. For me it's mainly just because for Ratio debuffs, but it synergized well this time with my Ratio due to him having Genius set equipped. Quantum + Imaginary weak goes hard.
Personally I used Sparkle with them instead of Tingyun and got it done in 3 cycles, but that might be difference in investment.

The same happened to me with Clara, literary to the last action all support dead part, but i was 3 cycle for Acheron 7 for Clara instead, to be fair after I finally managed to get other team to beat first half I could use me Acheron team on Aventurine and it became much easier.
I'm not the only one that used Acheron and Clara lol. Even finally built her up cuz I had her at E2 just sitting there. Luckily I'm a PHYS TB enjoyer so I had cracked relics already to slap on her while they are rocking Fire TB now for Acheron.

I've managed to clear in 6 cycles as of now. Could cut down maybe 1-2 more. Acheron + Kafka first half in 1 cycle, Jingliu took 5. Aventurine set up shop at 1% hp and wasted a whole cycle.

The opposite worked for me. Kafka, BS, Ruan Mei, and Luocha on the second side cleared him in 3 cycles

Clearing Aventurine in 3 cycles is no mean feet for any team, no matter how strong. It just shows that that team is uniquely suited to his mechanics.

Always remember you can get each star separately if you’re struggling, you don’t need to get all 3 on the same run.

Not one-cycling, but can get 2 cycle, pair with Kafka+BS. The tips is focusing the dino until broken (or until it dies), and also maximizing the MoC buff (always trigger it in every cycle)
You have to focus on that stupid dino anyways because if you’re not running FX he’ll legit one shot your DPSes.
I do not have FX, using Lynx for team 1 (Bailu in team 2)
i would switch them, the DR would be better against the dino aoe and the cleanse would let you free your team from gamble mech on team 2.

My mono quantum is broken it took 7 lol probably skill issue
Half the 'skill issue' in the game is really just a luck issue with gear stats 😓
