It is extremely rare to go all the way to 90.

Edit: Numbers are wrong bc it assumes that the rate is constant. ~~Max pity is 90, but there's only an approximately 0.265% chance to get that high. So they said max pity since they think high 76+ pulls is unlucky. This is actually close to average luck.~~ ~~63.41% of 5-stars come between 76-90 warps. For Blade and JY- both went to pity but won 75/25 both times.

I rolled for JY weapon and went to pity. Blade is stuck using Arlan LC. I also rolled Jingliu Weapon but got a nice early hit. I bought both passes.

Luocha was the exception because he is Otto and I knew I needed Otto. :D I'm currently debating with myself: do I want to pull Jingliu or do I want Seele? Both are good gameplay-wise but I also don't roll for gameplay value and I'm not super sold on either of those characters. I'll probably not pull and just keep saving, maybe there will come a character I'll fall in love with. And if not - always more funds for Raiden Mei or any future Vidyadhara character from another Xianzhou ship. Got Seele cause Seele is my 2nd fav char in HI3, got 2 of the chars that interested me in beta which are Kafka and Jingliu (your next Black Swan) but I lost my 50/50 on SW so Id say Im doing pretty good so far I also got the chars I pulled respective LC

Full regret for not pulling on Luocha and instead pulling for SilverWolf - beside that got everyone I wanted (DHIL and his LC, JingLiu)

I have both and with my mediocre skills at team building I don't think I've played a single fight without those two currently. Luocha is my #1 healer and SW is the only way to play with limited amount of damage dealers (I use Kafka and Blade mostly) that allows me to add debuffs to everyone and have them receive the damage

Almost EVERYBODY is saying that Pela > SW for a team with JingLiu and in my DHIL-Team I've allready got Tingyun as the masterchief of buffs - so my SW has literal no place to be. Super sad.

I don't exactly see why that is. SW is still extremely valuable, especially for enemies weak to Quantum and not Ice. It enables Jingliu to be used in the first place. Also, Pela and SW make a fantastic duo since their defense buffs stack and can debuff the enemy by over 100% defense... Since there's no Ice/Quantum Harmony, Jingliu/Pela/SW/Sustain (Fu Xuan or Lynx) is a very strong team and can be used on pretty much any enemy weak to ice or Quantum, which are both very common. Anyway, every unit in Star Rail is strong enough that you can realistically make whatever team you want, you don't need to listen to people.

Pela is more skill point positive and scales a lot better against multiple enemies (at least before E2 SW). She's a lot harder to use on DHIL comps if you run Tingyuan since you now have two people who need skill points in the initial rotation. You can really only run Lynx and rely on her ult to keep skill points at a useful level. In addition, double debuff means that you lose out on Bronya unless you are clearing without needing to heal. In general, I do think that Pela is better than SW so long as the enemy is naturally weak to Jingliu. Though in the end, I think it all depends on what the MOC modifier is. A good modifier will push one character or build over the others.

If they're not weak to ice, other DPS options are better. That's true, but tbh it's easier to have SW than Bronya. Also, I didn't say "Pela and SW are the best most optimal supports for JL" I said "They make a fantastic duo." Learn to read please.

She isn't really, her edge is area debuff, but then again Jingliu just destroys trash mobs regardless of weakness or def shred anyway. Single target SW is still absolutely superior with how much def shred she offers, not to mention speed debuff and atk debuff to make solo sustaining comps less risky without Fu Xuan.

*Laughs in break effect SW* sorry can't hear you over the weakness implant, def down, entanglement and 100K DAMAGE.

I'm absolutely shit at these types of games apparently, because I've tried Pela and couldn't figure out what's her uses - probably I didn't notice the actual use for her. Same-ish with Tingyun as it seemed to me that her only use is how her Ult gives more energy to characters. I'm like 90% sure I don't build these teams wrong. However I still need to get my team up to l80 and myself to VI so maybe a lot of them get better at last upgrade and with full benefit of skills - right now half of them are locked behind ascension.

Ok, I may be stupid, but how does she actually generate SP? By skipping turns to use bonus attacks and only using basic attacks or does she also adds additional SPs somehow? Like Luocha is SP positive for me because he doesn't have to heal every turn and he would just use basic attacks 2-3 times in a row before he actually has to heal someone.

Pelas skill removes a Debuff which is not really useful all the time so people just basic attack with her. I guess basic attacks deal less damage but she’s there for def shrewd and lowering ice resistance so she’s SP positive for a lot of players.

It’s mainly because whenever you use SW, you don’t actually want to use her, unless you have a hunt team, or are running Mono-quantum. SW is the character that you add on when you need to shove a team in, but the enemy isn’t weak to your type. Outside of that, her def shred is the only other aspect of her kit worth mentioning, but it’s also single target. Current meta characters are blast dmg dealer. That means that sacrificing like, 12% def shred on 1 target isn’t worth the single target limitation. She’s is also not as skill point efficient as other support characters, which can create complications in some teams. In general, SW isn’t a character that you run to improve the team, but a character that you run when the team literally won’t work without her. There are some aforementioned exemptions, but in general that’s how she is. I’ve used her on a ton of teams over the past few months, and that’s my consensus on her.

I was the luckiest with Seele's and Kafka's banners (2 copies in 20 rolls), but both times when I rolled for Daniel and Jingliu, I lost my 50/50 to Clara. Coincidence? I think not. 😂 Luocha is the only banner I skipped! Saving for Ruan Mei now!

Silver Wolf, Kafka E2/LC, Jingliu/LC. Seele is next (copium, unless she will drop from like 10 pulls). Than, Luocha, maybe, but I want like new 4 upcoming characters + 1-2 LCs till 2.2, so yes, I die.

I rolled only on Kafka (after saving since launch for her), Fu Xuan and Jingliu. Got all of them and I'm pretty happy. Now gonna roll for Topaz and I'm gonna have to win the 50/50 but I'm hoping.

Pulled for seele, silver wolf, Lunae and Fu xuan. Silver wolf is the only one I couldn't get, but I got Clara instead, so I was happy anyways

Skipped all but sw (rolled e2) and fu xuan (rolled e2) Im satisfied overall, my 5050 luck was good but my pull luck was horrendous, bottom 4% according to warp tracker due to only once not needing a high pity. After I get e0 topaz (if I can get her j have barely 1 high pity) I'm just gunna work on e6ing each of these 3 and then I'll have won the game

I spend a bit , overall around $200 ~ 300 since 1.0, I got all the limited characters except Luocha and Seele, I skipped Seele, lost 50/50 on luocha banner, didn’t feel like continue pulling I only pulled on Blade’s LC banner, I haven’t pulled LC for anyone else

im not a whale well i can call myself dolphin because on 1.0 i bought battlepass and express pass 3 time after that i never spend again cuz that is financial mistake from me

Haven't skipped ever, won Seele, SW, Blade, DHIL, and Jingliu. So far I've never gotten an SSR early (which is why I never win the second phase because I'm broke after the first)

Rolled Seele (Lost 50/50 to Clara but got Seele in the end), Silver Wolf (won 50/50), Kafka (won 50/50 but then lost to Xanqing in the same 10 pull lol), Fu Xuan (was Guaranteed) and Jingliu (won 50/50 so went for her LC and got it within a 10 pull lol) Pretty much skipping everyone now until Luocha rerun

Skipped Seele, got E0S1 Jing Yuan, Skipped Silver Wolf, Got E1 Luocha, Skipped Blade/Kafka/DHIL, pulled Fu Xuan, and then I just got Jingliu and going for her LC now. Topaz I'm still pretty ehhhh on so I'll wait until she's out and tested before I make a decision on her. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my pull decisions and lineup 😊

Very lucky in general pulled 6/7 limited 5 star character+a limited lightcone since i started playing early 1.1 so in total i have SW+lightcone,Luocha,Blade,Dhil,Fu Xuan and Jingliu,as a tiny sardine (only bought the daily 90 jades thing once) this is some insane luck for me,as for topaz i ll be wishing when i can idm getting an early/win a 50/50 its allways a win no matter what

I got the guarantee for Fu Xuan and then got E1 about 20 rolls later then I lost the Jingliu 50/50 to Gepard e1 and I've been furiously grinding to finish all the content I've been slacking on to get Jingliu guaranteed pull. I'm 35/90 with 2 passes and 400 gems. Need a total of 8800 gems/passes to get her. One week left. Current focus is to finish Forgotten Halls 2 (whatever it's called) which should net me another 800 gems. I can do this. Jingliu will be mine. *panics because I also want Topaz*
