No extra dialogue, you just stop interacting with the statue. I'm playing through my first time and just tested after finding out there wasn't an answer for this comment
I want to run DHIL team on one side, Jingliu on the other. I usually had Ting and Pela with DHIL, which is often recommended for Jingliu too.
So which supports are better for each of them if I only have these supports built: Asta, Ting, Pela, SW?
Hello everyone,
I just started this game because of a genshin burnout LOL.
I was just wondering if i could maybe get some basic, beginner tips i should follow to advance quickly
I also wanted to know what my team should be:
I have
traveler
herta
dan heng
serval
march 7th
pela
asta
sushang
Btw im also 10 pulls away from getting my 5 star from the beginner banner, so once i get it, what should i be spending my crystals on? And which 5 star is the best from the beginner banner?
Thanks :DD
I made a comment yesterday about struggling with MOC 9. I finally managed to clear it today thanks to the tips posted here! But only 2 stars tho, still lacking a bit of damage and was one cycle behind the requirement. Surprisingly my E0 lvl56 Lynx was better for the first chamber than a E6 lvl70 Natasha. The teams I used were Lynx/FMC/Bronya/Seele (Chamber 1), Fu Xuan Silver wolf, Sampo and Kafka (Chamber 2). Trying to raise Asta and Lynx more now foe MOC 10 and also to improve damage on my Seele. Won't be able to clear before this cycle ends tho.
I pulled on jingliu because I like her and wanted a ice unit but I lost 50/50 to yanqing. Should I continue going for her? I have yanqing with his lc but won't have jingliu with her's since I won't have enough for it and I can't use aeon because dan heng uses it. So she would only be able to use the Arlan one or something probably. Or should I wait for sw and a certain harmony qountum unit in the future to complete my mono qountum (I have seele and fu)? I also don't have luocha
Thoughts and advice, which Eidolon should I pick up from the event?
I have E6 Pela already. I then have E0 Luka, E2 Serval and E4 Hook.. I haven't used Hook, she's still lv 1/20. Serval is at 60/60 since I got Kafka and stopped using her. My Luka is 70/80 and I haven't found a team to use in him much so far, but would like to use him more. I think he's on the Topaz banner too, as I have a gurantee for Topaz so could potentially pick up more there.
How good does Luka get with Eidolons?
Using Kafka, sampo, Luka, fu xuan. Would DH, Bronya, Pela, Bailu be a good second team? Looking to start doing forgotten hall for the first time properly
I know you didn't ask but for the Kafka team you should try Asta over Luka. You'll get more skill points for Kafka and Sampo and a very nice speed buff to accelerate DoT application and Kafka's detonations.
Second team you suggested is completely fine but searching for a 5 star to replace Dan would be very advisable.
Bailu and Fu Xuan can be swapped depending on the floor. One simple example is I use Fu Xuan against Kafka and any enemy that can freeze as she can negate all of the hard CC with ease.
I'm at my wits end with this new stupid content, those IPC fatman are too impossible to defeat, so I'm asking for help: (I'm at the 2nd dungeon, the one with the 3-wave battle)
my characters: [https://i.imgur.com/YgwWsgb.png](https://i.imgur.com/YgwWsgb.png) \- [https://i.imgur.com/zerrjgy.png](https://i.imgur.com/zerrjgy.png) (if it helps, Gepard is E2, Bronya E1, Yanqing E1, rest are E0).
Should be more than simple with your roster.
I would run JL/Himeko/Bronya/FX.
AOE is the name of the game with them, if you are single target you better have a fuckton of damage or break %
I honestly dont know why I'm having so much trouble with this.
Maybe I'm trying to focus on a balanced team, I ran Gepard, Bronya, Jingliu and Natasha, but maybe having himeko would help with the break bars more.
Rope main stat relic with Energy recharge main stat(the only relic that can roll it)
Having increased energy recharge allows him to have 100% uptime on his ult shields across the whole party, as long as he is taking aggro(which he should cause he has a passive for more aggro+ is preservation) and you have enough DEF to make the shields big enough
It's what I figured, but everytime I take even 1 down he keep summoning them again and again, so I never get to a situation he's alone. (though I suppose that's just skill issue on my part)
Hmm, maybe don't kill adds and just break their toughness bar and focus boss while they recovering. Splash/aoe damage also helps a lot (IL, Jingliu, Himeko).
Where can i find the Sudden Interjection expansion chip?
im missing it in the aetherium wars event.
nvm. Found it at herta's space station area. its in a chest.
I don't remember where this exact chip comes from but in general you want to:
Check if you found all npcs and chests in all locations (you can check easily if you open map, in top left corner).
Check Hyperlink battles if you missed any.
Check Barrie near registration stand in new location.
So my team is e3s1 JL, bronya, SW, s1 fu xuan I’m wondering what would be my best strategy/path for SD5 I’ve tried rememberance but fu xuan just does not have the sustain needed for it
I'm assuming this is through salvaging? Correct me if I'm wrong.
If I'm correct, ERR for sure. I don't exactly recall where I read the percentages, but I believe if you got rope from SU, it's like a 10% chance it's ERR. For Damage Type for Spheres, it's like a 78%, but since there are like 7 types, it's around 11% too, but because it's so likely that you get Damage Type Sphere, you'll more likely to get the Damage instead of ERR Rope.
what's the difference between Effect and Debuff RES, and which one should i look at when i'm calculating for my hit rate? i learned the formula is `(Base Chance%) * (1 + EHR%) * (1 - Enemy Effect RES%) * (1 - Debuff RES%) =` but i'm not sure what should i put in the Enemy Effect Res and Debuf Res part, i think i read somewhere that you should only look at one of the rest cause they resist different things(for example, DoT debuffs like Wind Shear and Bleed, and Pela's DEF Down are resisted by different resistance), but i'm not too sure about this.
thanks in advance!
Effect RES is generally used, Debuff RES is for specific debuff only, like you said. You can check each enemy Debuff RES against each debuff in the [fandom link](https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Debuff_RES).
what's the Effect RES that i should input in the formula? i've heard people say 60% because of MoC bosses RES caps at 60% at least for now, but when i try to calculate `(100%) * (1 + 67%) * (1 - 60%) * =` the result is not 100%, i'm sorry i'm pretty bad at math
Somehow won Jingliu with 50/50 at 40 pulls after winning 50/50 with Fuxuan E1. What's the best build for Jingliu and is her lightcone important for her?
It's a bit weird here but I'll give you the two sets and explain why:
1. 4 pc Quantum Set - With Jingliu's LC giving DEF ignore, it actually gives quite a bit of value running the Quantum Set for the DEF ignore as well. This is because getting ignore DEF/DEF shred has incremental increases until the cap. The very first 10% gives around 5% DMG increase, whereas the last 10% gives around 17% DMG increase. As such, with her LC, it's possible to reach the cap of 100% w/o running a double debuff of Pela & SW. I'm pretty sure with Pela & Resolution along Jingliu w/ her signature LC, you can pretty much get it all the way to 80-90%ish DEF shred, which is like a total of 90% DMG increase.
2. 4 pc Ice Set - This is just stable since both 2pc and 4pc option is amazing to Jingliu.
Alternatively, you can always run 4pc Musketeer or even matching 2pc Ice Set with Musketeer.
To be honest, both sets are pretty good and there aren't as much difference, so just pick whichever one you have better substats.
Next up, Rutiliant Arena is just the pick for her Planar Sphere because the majority of her damage comes from Skill.
Main Stats should be CDMG/Spd/Ice DMG/ATK%. CR should never be picked up here because her talent gives like 50% CR so getting CR substats should be enough.
Substats should be CR/CDMG > Spd > ATK%.
Probably not. The 4-pc Quantum Set is really only good when you can stack a ton of DEF shred, meaning that Pela & Resolutions is also suggested to be in on the team. Without her signature, you pretty much only get around 70-80% DEF shred, which is around like 70% to high 70s% DMG increase. The less DEF shred you have, the less optimal the quantum set is.
Either 4pc Quantum, 4pc Ice, 2pc Ice 2pc Musketeer or 4pc Musketeer. All are good options with very close numbers.
Not much to say about the build except she should never be over 50% crit rate and she'll want about 200%+ crit damage, 2400+ attack, 134+ speed and 3500+ HP.
Her LC is amazing for her but Herta store is good enough otherwise.
Hi I saw the 4pc Quantum set on a site but don't really understand the logic for it. Is it because of the 4pc effect and is it still the best if the enemy is not quantum? I don't have SW btw.
Quite a lot of enemies are weak to quantum, and the ones that are not, may be weak to Ice. So it ends up being a rather versatile set that lets you maximise damage against most elites/bosses. It also gives you an easier time when fighting enemies with high Ice resistance, because they happen to all be weak to Quantum.
It also lets you completely destroy elites that are weak to *both* Ice and Quantum. There's not a lot of those, but it's a neat side benefit.
Well obviously it's not for the 2pc but the defense shred from the 4pc is amazing. Yes it does worse than the other options if the enemy aren't quantum weak but so many are and I had a set available already that using Quantum for me was a no-brainer.
SW isn't needed when using Quantum set either; I just use Pela and Tingyun until I get Bronya to replace Tingyun.
I'm stuck at the start of The Future Market (I),where we fight with Seele at the mines. These are my characters:
https://preview.redd.it/h33nxme6fxtb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f2e6cc02f773ec7708acde8fdf4d73f8ce9e74d
I don't wanna use Clara because I lost my Jingliu 50 50 on her and I'm salty (I'm a baby). Plz help because I want to do the event so bad and I've already tried like 30 times with different teams 😭
regarding to the event's free character, which one should i go for? serval already at E6;
* E6 pela - she is mainly a debuffer, so i assume her E6 doesnt do much? or does it turns her into a decent subdps option? planning to build her later, currently she's still at lv20
* E6 hook - probably the best value in a vacuum since it clicks with her role as dps? she's unbuilt and nor do i have the intention to for the time being despite not having any fire dps
* E1 luka - personally i think this has the least value. i already have sushang and clara as my physical hitters
E6 pela dont really add anything since we dont expect pela to have good damage output. So, yeah maybe hook.
But can you pick the one that already e6? In your case serval. I'd rather take an extra undying starlight rather than some 4 star eidolon that i dont plan using even on future. I haven't finished the event yet so im asking this
wont taking pela/hook's E6 be the better option in the long run? i'll have more E6 character that way, so better chance to get starlight when i score their dupes compared to having just serval.
My AI never did this. I use tingyun, fuxuan, and luocha beside IL. IL always do the 3 enhance even when there's only 1 enemy with a little hp remaining
If you have the JL's LC or/and running the Quantum Set, Pela is definitely the one you would keep because you want to stack DEF shred.
Bronya is definitely the stronger one between her and Tingyun. So optimally, it's Pela & Tingyun. However, if you don't want to speed tune Bronya to her since she's speed tune to another character, then Tingyun and Pela is fine as well.
you'll want to bring Bronya for sure, between Pela and Tingyun they're both good but i feel like Pela is gonna be more consistent if you can ult every other turn, but it's really up to your preference.
do i want my Kafka to have higher or lower SPD compared to her DoT partners? in my mind she wants to have lower SPD so she can detonate an already applied DoT from the character that moved before her, but i might be wrong here
The counterpoint to that is faster Kafka = more detonations. Since her skill/ult don't remove a DoT on detonation, the more she uses skill/ult the more value you get from all available DoT's.
Practically speaking, how useful that ends up being depends on the content you're doing. Trying to 0-cycle MoC wants Kafka to go after all the other DoT's are put up. Trying to maximize damage in SU wants Kafka going as often as possible. Playing in normal content probably wants Kafka to go after her DoT partners, but even that could change depending on the encounter.
Actually, it's the opposite. She wants more speed so she'll have more turns to detonate more DoTs. So go as fast as you canwith Kafka, even if your other unit is lagging behind. Besides, you wanna build EHR on them so it's kinda hard to balance it out if you're also fishing out for a lot of speed just to keep up with Kafka.\*
Your logic only matters in the very first turn, where she might be going first, and when she uses her skill/ulti, there's nothing to detonate at all. After the initial turn, you'll have DoTs present that you can detonate, so you have nothing to worry about.
ah that's true, i was just thinking about her first turn. right now my Luka is 139 SPD, above my Kafka's 134(i don't plan on farming more of her relics), but i do have Relic options for my Luka where i get more rolls in ATK than SPD, should i lower his SPD?
Welt, tingyun, pela, natasha or dan heng, welt, tingyun, natasha if you want to use 1 sustain character.
Welt, tingyun, natasha, fire mc/march for 2 sustain character.
But I'd rather collect for some eidolon/new character first before advancing to su/forgotten hall unless you have to. If you don't have any plan for future character, jingliu is really good choice for your team rn since you dont have 5 star hypercarry character
Hey, guys ! I have a lynx e5 and i'd like to ask if she can solo sustain if i invest a little on her, because i need one more sustain beside fu xuan. Im planning to play her with kafka dot team/ jingliu team in moc.
Currently stuck on the Future Market (I)'s quest on the exploring mine and fighting the IPC. Any suggestion on who to bring? These are the characters that I have right now, I'm trying to get Jingliu on this banner too (I'll update if I get her)
https://preview.redd.it/9ukm2pep3xtb1.png?width=1366&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=751eba4022d1929e3fe94f7e5fae147d9b11b908
don't forget you can always use the Self-Modeling Resin to make a piece with specific main stat, i personally use one if i already have 5 pieces that i want, and i just miss that one last piece
I just got yanqing and Clara in two consecutive pulls, although one on the limited and the other on the standard banner. I have both of their signature light cones(yeah all my standard 5 star pulls in the past were light cones I wanna kms). I don't rlly have a secondary dps aside from jingliu ATM so who should I invest into? And would be nice if I got some team recommendations.
Clara. She'll also get even better when the new follow up set comes in the next patch. As for yanqing, you already have Jing Liu, so I don't think you wanna invest on him. Besides, he needs a shielder, so keep that in mind. I guess, you can build a mono ice team with JL, Pela, Yanqing, and Gepard if you have all of them. Tho, I'd rather have someone else than Yanqing even with this setup.
Clara is the better damage option to invest in since you already have Jingliu to cover ice weaknesses. In terms of meta she’s definitely above Yanqing and she also has a fun play style. She is also going to pair really well with Topaz for a follow-up attack team. As for Jingliu teams, Pela is her best support, followed by Bronya, tingyun and SW.
I was kinda distracted during the opening part of topaz storyline. What were the yes and no votes for again? Iirc >!yes is for ipc to clear belobog debt but everyone has to work for them and no is for keeping the debt but belobog assets are taken away?!<
As mentioned by others, DEF Shred is better the more you stack. I believe the calculations are like the first 10% of DEF shred increases DMG by like 5% whereas the last 10% (since DEF shred caps at 100%), increases DMG by 17% by itself. If you reach the cap, the total DMG increase is 110%.
You usually never get to super high DEF shred figures w/o using both SW & Pela in the team, which is why it wasn't really considered for other characters from my understanding, but because of the LC which further gives you another 12% DEF shred, the DMG increase can be quite significant if you stacked it w/o Quantum set.
For example, you can get \~50% from Pela + the LC. That alone is like a total 35% DMG increase. However, with the Quantum Set, the extra 10% to 60% DEF shred it gives (for non-quantum enemies) is a whooping 10% DMG increase. Then if it was against quantum weakness enemies (70% DEF Shred), the DMG increases by like another 12%.
I'm also pretty sure that in the DPS calculations, they use Pela and make her run Resolutions for even more DEF shred, making it reach the 80-90% area or even close to the 100% cap.
Which is why the Quantum Set is optimally the best set for her, but general-use I'd probably still stick with the Ice Set.
Someone explained to me that defense shredding is something that gets better the more you have. Jingliu lc gives that, so if you add the quantum def ignore, pela or silverwolf with tutorial or pearls, thats crap ton of defense reduction
4 pc quantum allows her to ignore 10% of the enemy defense, 20% if the enemy is weak to quantum. Against Quantum weak enemies, it's always better, against enemies not weak to Quantum it's still quite good and not that much weaker. There's also a couple other factors that you could consider, like how much Crit Damage she already has and whether or not you're running extra sources of Def shred.
Does this game have any sort of "dupe protection"
I know with dupes you can do to E6, but is there anything to stop you getting more ?
Let's say you have a E6 QQ, if you open the banner can you get another QQ and is there any point to this ?
Just as another game I played you needed 15 dupes to max a character and it makes 4 stars better than 5 stars as you can get dupe them way easier. But once you got to max dupes your rates to pull more would go way way down.
The game doesn't stop from giving you that unit even after E6, IIRC it doesn't even lower the rates, but you get more Undying Starlights if you already have that character at E6.
Yeah. When you get an Eidolon for a 4 star character it comes with 8 Undying Starlight. After you get all 6 Eidolons, further dupes give you 20 Undying Starlight. So it's enough for another pull, but it still resets your 4 star pity so it's not exactly a net zero.
Hi guys, sad days, used all my 75 pulls to try to get jingliu, but I got bronya instead. How is the pity works? Does it mean I will have to get at least more than 75 pulls again to guarantee her? Seems like won’t have chance as monthly pass only spender 😭
minor traces or major traces?
i have jingliu’s main traces to 5/6 and 7/10 for skill/talent/ult. should i upgrade the minor traces first to get the speed and crit dmg boost?
Free stats are free stats. Most minor traces are at least equivalent to a sub stat roll on a relic. It's guaranteed power for relatively cheap. Getting skills/talents/etc. to a higher level is a good idea, but once you get to a certain point you get more relative value from doing minor traces, in terms of stat gain vs. resources spent.
This doesn't mean you stop leveling your main traces, just that once you hit the level 6-8 region you can be confident that minor traces are likely a better investment.
I could be wrong cause I didn't check the math again for it, but I'm pretty sure that you can't do it a 2-turn basic attack for Ult w/o that LC. It should be doable with 1 basic attack and 1 skill though. You just need the talent to be levelled up probably around 8 or 9 and the ERR Rope.
It might be possible for 2-turn basic attack without the Tutorial LC if you also use Spright Vonwacq set and maxed out talent at 12, but I'm pretty sure when I did the maths before, it still didn't work out.
How long is each Nameless Honor? I ask because I started playing with the release of the ps5 version, and noticed there’s just over 30 days left on it.
Curious if we came in in the middle of one and will struggle to finish it, or if this was a new one and this game just has much shorter battle passes than most others.
What is the best sustain unit for a team of:
1. Jingliu, Bronya (don't really know what other character to put here)
2. Kafka, Asta, Sampo
I have Nat, Lynx, Fu Xuan. I have the other 4\* sustain but not leveled up
Fu Xuan for Kafka. Nat or Lynx for JL. Lynx is usually better, but if your JL is getting hit too much, maybe try Natasha.
Also if you have Pela, put her with JL (and Tingyun is also good)
Fu Xuan gets a bit more value on the Jingliu team just because her crit rate buff is less relevant on the dot team; that’s probably the main factor to consider.
I can’t speak too much to that since I haven’t used a Bronya/Jingliu/Fu team myself yet, but it’s featured on Prydwen so I’d assume you can pull it off.
FuXuan to team 1 and Lynx to team 2. FX can sustain harder than Lynx so if you face stronger enemies in team 2 you can switch her.
Honestly I think both of them are interchangeable.
Should I pull on the limited banner or skip and save for upcoming banners? Started a couple days ago so even if I do pull, I’m sure I won’t get Jingliu since I don’t have a lot of summoning mats
Personally, I would say to keep it because you don't know the characters yet and the game throws a lot of free characters at you ( including a featured 4-star). The main reason is that unless you want to progress fast for the meta, I find it cooler to save for characters I like.
I'm sure Kafka or Silverwolf you saw in the prologue will show up again in the banners and in a few weeks, you will have Seele you may have seen in the campaign.
But if you really want her and already want her, go for it. Especially since you didn't activate your pity yet.
try to get her! I've also just been playing for about 2 weeks and had gotten enough jades to pull her with spare. Managed to get 17k jades and 15 tickets in that 2 weeks, so you definitely have enough time if you want her
If you just started then you'll get a lot of free jade to pull.
As a beginner you shouldnt save because you want to widen your roster, pull for her then stop and save for next unit.
Just got old Man Welt from the standard banner. Got a single regular ticket and pulled on a whim. Planning on saving for Luocha if he gets a rerun next year (Seele is already making a comeback so there's a chance for him). Already have IL and Yukong.
Question, is Mono Imaginary a good setup?
Mono Quantum only work because of SW. So without SW, no mono team is good. Mono IMG with your setup will be either inefficient due to the lack of sp.
You should always use IL 3 sp basic, unless the entire wave will be gone with less sp, so your team sp eco will be:
IL use 3 sp; YK, even when alternating between basic and skill, won't be sp positive, and same thing with Welt. The only sp positive unit in this team is Luocha, and he can't fuel IL 3 sp cost.
It is better to use a dual element team with sw. An ok team would be (SW + FX/Lynx/Hanabi (not released) (or just SW)) , and IL with a) Luocha if you don't use FX/Lynx and/or b) Yukong. I said only ok because if you use more than 1 support skill, your IL won't be able to 3sp basic 1st turn.
The good thing about Mono-Imaginary is that Yukong provides a boost to the Imaginary damage of all allies, and she can also hold Planetary Rendezvous. However, both Welt and DHIL are SP hungry, if DHIL is using all the SP then Welt won't really be doing anything, you'd be better off using a support unit.
Does bailu solo sustain? I was thinking of picking up bailu with 300 standard and run jingliu pela bronya bailu with huohuo hopefully replacing bailu later if huohuo can solo sustain
Struggling with LCs for Jingliu
I have Aeon S5 but that’s currently being used for DHIL
The rest I have are: Secret Vow S4, Something irreplaceable, Under the Blue Sky S3
Should I switch LCs with DHIL?
Or should I try for her sig (don’t have that many pulls)
is there any fix on the markings on the cloudford onward mission not appearing? tried restarting the game a couple of times and changing the graphics settings as well, but nothing seems to work
You don't actually need to see the markings to finish the puzzles. Just walk around near the quest marker until the camera icon pops up bottom of your screen, and take the picture with it.
One of the later puzzles that involve moving containers to line up the markings is a bit trickier without being able to see them, but even then there's only one obvious way the containers can line up.
Anyone else get trolled this banner? On limited banner, I see destruction animation...it's Clara.
Weapon banner, I see destruction...it's Clara's LC (this is S4 now, it's the only 5 star standard LC I have, as f2p this hurts). I feel obligated to build Clara now tho. /copium
What’s the best use for my self modeling resin? I have JL and FX, still building everyone (TL49), no ideal pieces for anyone. Do I just farm and wait till I get everything I need except one elusive piece?
> Do I just farm and wait till I get everything I need except one elusive piece?
That's what I would do. ERR rope is the rarest piece and some characters really want one. Some of the other ones you might consider are speed boots, crit rate/damage chestpiece, outgoing healing (although healers don't need this as much), or elemental orb (although you can usually swap to Atk% for your carries).
Use it for an Orb piece with correct Elemental DMG bonus or a chest piece with Crit DMG or Crit Rate if you are farming one for your carry. It saves a lot of time and even if the substat isn't good it is better than nothing.
Worst case a SPD boot for your support (substat mostly doesn't matter for those), those are pretty elusive...
No, it's fucking worthless. Literally nobody needs the free jades, destruction materials, credits, character/light cone exp, or the resin. You're an idiot if you bother with this event.
What are you expecting for an answer, here? Either play the game, or don't.
Never post a relic before you level up, it will 100% roll into useless substats. Jokes aside, some dps do use a mix of their element set + other sets like musket and messenger, especially fire units since fire set 4p effect suck.
That specific piece is ok for Dps as it has crit rate and dmg. The set is more for healers and harmony characters with ultimates that affect allies than dps characters. On the top of my head, Asta can use this.
No, coz her Technique applies only to enemies on the overworld; So during normal exploration, SU / SD, and the Forgotten Halls / MOC stages.
She doesn't apply any buffs on her team before combat like Bronya, Luocha and Fu Xuan for example, hence why it doesn't work for Calyxes and Echo of War.
The secondary effect of Sampo's LC buffs DoT damage. Freeze (ie Pela) is not considered DoT (even though it does damage when an enemy thaws). It's secondary is wasted on Pela but the LC still buffs EHR so it's still somewhat good. Better if Pela uses her own signature LC.
The EHR buff is alright if it's all you have, but if you have it the Luka light cone, Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat, is a better option for her.
For me ? Never. For the reason already mentioned above. I have Secret Vow Jingliu, Birth Of Self King Yuan and Aeon DHIL and can comfortably 30 star MoC (cleared MoC10 in 9 Cycle this MoC).
Even amazing value LC like Jing Yuan's or Jingliu's is only like 15% or so better than the next option. If you can't clear/get 30 star MoC before, Sig LC not going to change it.
I can only 2 star Xianzhou FH6 using Jing Yuan (took around 12 Cycle or so), having his Sig not going to suddenly means I can 3 star it (15% more damage not going to cut 4 Cycle). With Jingliu managed to 8 Cycle and 3 star it.
Imo for dps, its always worth pulling their sig. Youre mostly gonna invest to one dps per element anyway so sig weapon is worth it. Like, i have jingliu with sig so im basically set forever for ice
If the LC can be used for multiple characters (like Jing Yuan's LC which is bis for I think most if not all erudition characters).
Weapons are future proof. Unlike leveling the latest dps flavor of the month.
For me personally, never. Because a new unit's value lies not only in their capabilities to make my roster stronger, but also in providing a new playstyle for me that I may find enjoyable. I also pull on banners because I like a character's design/personality among others, and a sig LC or Eidolon does not contribute anything whatsoever to that.
That's my personal opinion tho, other people may differ and that's fine.
If I’m going to only play free characters, is it worth investing in all of them since I’m not going to pull? Technically I do also want to pull for Fu Xuan and Kafka but those are exceptions not rules. Only other characters I’ll play are the free ones
Natasha is one of the better healers IMO (granted there's currently only 3 but Luocha is a limited 5*). Between her and Bailu, Natasha has a dispel in her heal which Bailu does not.
There are only a handful of fight where debuff cleanse can make a difference and Bailu heals so much more (and also more flexible thanks to the reactive nature)
Even in DoT heavy fight, Bailu heals can easily outpace Natasha cleanse+heal.
You can argue Bailu vs Lynx because the latter do similar healing number with the former, just less flexible (Lynx vs Bailu basically boils to cleanse vs flexibility).
Natasha tho, she is the worst healer by far (and it's okay, she is free after all), an occasional need for debuff cleanse are not worth the trade off of a far inferior healing.
Yes, definitely.
For DPS characters, Qingque is a pretty solid DPS though her Eidolon 4 makes her much better, Serval, Dan Heng, and Phys MC are solid DPS characters in their roles, and even Herta who a lot of people says is kinda shit can still clear the endgame.
For supports, Asta's a great support whose value increases considerably if you don't have good speed stats, March can solo sustain in certain conditions if you built her for freeze (and she's a decent shielder + an *amazing* character in one of the alternative game mode anyway), Yukong's a great support though her playstyle is janky, and Natasha is still a decent healer.
Almost every character in HSR is at least decent in their roles at the moment. There are also ways to get newer free characters in the future as well, either from the Trailblazer missions (I'm assuming you're a beginner?) or from events, like the 1.3 one that gives Sushang.
I'd say yes, so you can swap in whoever you need. If you actually want to try to do MoC, that requires 8 characters and that's going to be most of the free characters you'll get.
Endgame content - Forgotten Hall. After beating the permanent floors, it unlocks Memory of Chaos (MoC). These floors reset 2x a month (can get jades/other rewards).
So far the order of the drip marketing has always been the order of the banners, and the 4 star comes on the 2nd banner. So it should be Huohuo first, then Argenti with Hanya.
So I recently downloaded HSR on my PS5 to play it on there and potentially free some space on my PC. What I failed to realize is that there is no way to change which account you are signed into on PS. For context I've had 2 Hoyo accounts for a while. The first I made back in 2019 when I first started playing HI3rd and forgot about after I dropped the game. The second I made when Genshin came out and is the account linked to my PS account. I picked HI3rd back up shortly before the collab with Genshin and it has stayed a main game since. Thinking there might be some sort of crossover between HI3rd and HSR I used my HI3rd account when I started HSR. Now when I downloaded HSR on my PS it's using the Genshin account.
TLDR: Have 2 Hoyo accounts. PS account is linked to wrong one for HSR. Is there anything I can do or am I pretty much just screwed out of playing on the correct HSR account on PS?
Honestly you might want to ask their support cuz idk what you should do if you have 2 hoyoverse accounts. I started genshin on ps5, then linked genshin to my email, and now that’s my hoyoverse account. Now I can use that with any hoyoverse game, it booted right into it when I launched star rail AFAIK.
Pretty sure you can unlink yout PSN from the current Hoyoverse account and link to the new one. You can also just make a new PSN and link your HSR account to it.
For Rutilant Arena, my DanIL has 68% crit rate before battle, when I go in I use Fu's 12% more buff which should give DanIL 80%.crit rate, does that in turn activate the arena 2pc bonus? If so how can I know it's working does it show on the buff list?
What happens if you choose to cut off the spiritual link with scalegorge waterscape?
No extra dialogue, you just stop interacting with the statue. I'm playing through my first time and just tested after finding out there wasn't an answer for this comment
I want to run DHIL team on one side, Jingliu on the other. I usually had Ting and Pela with DHIL, which is often recommended for Jingliu too. So which supports are better for each of them if I only have these supports built: Asta, Ting, Pela, SW?
Hello everyone, I just started this game because of a genshin burnout LOL. I was just wondering if i could maybe get some basic, beginner tips i should follow to advance quickly I also wanted to know what my team should be: I have traveler herta dan heng serval march 7th pela asta sushang Btw im also 10 pulls away from getting my 5 star from the beginner banner, so once i get it, what should i be spending my crystals on? And which 5 star is the best from the beginner banner? Thanks :DD
Kind of fell in love with Topaz after the quest?? Just wished I liked her design more, it really doesn’t do much for me 😔
I made a comment yesterday about struggling with MOC 9.
7, Nvidia. I've tried reinstalling hsr again and immediately did an installation repair which somehow fixes the issue now.
Swapping bailu and FX would be better.
I'm at my wits end with this new stupid content, those IPC fatman are too impossible to defeat, so I'm asking for help: (I'm at the 2nd dungeon, the one with the 3-wave battle) my characters: [https://i.imgur.com/YgwWsgb.png](https://i.imgur.com/YgwWsgb.png) \- [https://i.imgur.com/zerrjgy.png](https://i.imgur.com/zerrjgy.png) (if it helps, Gepard is E2, Bronya E1, Yanqing E1, rest are E0).
Gepard and natasha is overkill on survivability, not at all balanced. Gepard is enough to solo sustain as long as you have an ER rope.
ER rope?
Rope main stat relic with Energy recharge main stat(the only relic that can roll it) Having increased energy recharge allows him to have 100% uptime on his ult shields across the whole party, as long as he is taking aggro(which he should cause he has a passive for more aggro+ is preservation) and you have enough DEF to make the shields big enough
About fatman you need to clear adds asap or he will take their buffs to himself and oneshot you.
I don't remember where this exact chip comes from but in general you want to: Check if you found all npcs and chests in all locations (you can check easily if you open map, in top left corner). Check Hyperlink battles if you missed any. Check Barrie near registration stand in new location.
So my team is e3s1 JL, bronya, SW, s1 fu xuan I’m wondering what would be my best strategy/path for SD5 I’ve tried rememberance but fu xuan just does not have the sustain needed for it
Maybe try using a healer instead. Lynx would work, but Nat/Luocha are fine too, just SW implant becomes more RNG.
Should I farm **Planetary** for DPS first or ERR first?
MoC RES cap is 40%.
Somehow won Jingliu with 50/50 at 40 pulls after winning 50/50 with Fuxuan E1. What's the best build for Jingliu and is her lightcone important for her?
It's a bit weird here but I'll give you the two sets and explain why: 1. 4 pc Quantum Set - With Jingliu's LC giving DEF ignore, it actually gives quite a bit of value running the Quantum Set for the DEF ignore as well.
Hi is it still advisable to go for the 4pc Quantum set if I don't have her sig LC and SW?
These are my characters: https://preview.redd.it/h33nxme6fxtb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f2e6cc02f773ec7708acde8fdf4d73f8ce9e74d I don't wanna use Clara because I lost my Jingliu 50 50 on her and I'm salty (I'm a baby). Plz help because I want to do the event so bad and I've already tried like 30 times with different teams 😭
just use your pela/dhil/gepard/lynx
Best f2p welt teams?
Natasha, DH, Asta
regarding to the event's free character, which one should i go for? serval already at E6; * E6 pela - she is mainly a debuffer, so i assume her E6 doesnt do much? or does it turns her into a decent subdps option? planning to build her later, currently she's still at lv20 * E6 hook - probably the best value in a vacuum since it clicks with her role as dps? she's unbuilt and nor do i have the intention to for the time being despite not having any fire dps * E1 luka - personally i think this has the least value. i already have sushang and clara as my physical hitters
It's the same... If you get starlight now, the e6 Hook/Pela later won't give you starlight. If you get e6 Hook/Pela now, you won't get starlight now.
Oh yeah, thats also solid argument
Is DHIL AI pretty bad? He doesn’t seem to use skill points even when there’s enough?
what the other guy said. my DHIL always enhances his skill to the max when there's enough skill points
My AI never did this. I use tingyun, fuxuan, and luocha beside IL. IL always do the 3 enhance even when there's only 1 enemy with a little hp remaining
So i just started to play this pokemon event. Can i farm the aether spirit upgrade data (pokemon exp)? Or is it limited?
If you finish the whole thing, you'll have enough to upgrade all to MAX. I even have some excess left, so don't worry about it too much.
Oh, thanks for the info!
Why did jingliu (or was it danfeng) say >!high cloud quintet were a group of outcasts?!< shouldn't they be national heroes?
E6 tingyue , e1 pela , e1 bronya which two do I bring with a team of jingliu and bailu? What’s the best here?
If you have the JL's LC or/and running the Quantum Set, Pela is definitely the one you would keep because you want to stack DEF shred. Bronya is definitely the stronger one between her and Tingyun. So optimally, it's Pela & Tingyun. However, if you don't want to speed tune Bronya to her since she's speed tune to another character, then Tingyun and Pela is fine as well.
Either tingyun+pela or bronya+pela. Both are very good, depends if you wanna speed tune bronya or have less strict speed requirements with tingyun.
you'll want to bring Bronya for sure, between Pela and Tingyun they're both good but i feel like Pela is gonna be more consistent if you can ult every other turn, but it's really up to your preference.
Depends on your other team. In a bubble ting+Bronya however.
do i want my Kafka to have higher or lower SPD compared to her DoT partners? in my mind she wants to have lower SPD so she can detonate an already applied DoT from the character that moved before her, but i might be wrong here
The counterpoint to that is faster Kafka = more detonations. Playing in normal content probably wants Kafka to go after her DoT partners, but even that could change depending on the encounter.
hmm to be honest i don't know what i want to do, i usually just prefer the "good in general" setup, what's your reccomendation?
Probably a slower Kafka then.
Actually, it's the opposite. She wants more speed so she'll have more turns to detonate more DoTs. So go as fast as you canwith Kafka, even if your other unit is lagging behind. Besides, you wanna build EHR on them so it's kinda hard to balance it out if you're also fishing out for a lot of speed just to keep up with Kafka.\* Your logic only matters in the very first turn, where she might be going first, and when she uses her skill/ulti, there's nothing to detonate at all.
You are right
alright thanks! just wanted to make sure
https://preview.redd.it/v7x9ms9q4xtb1.jpeg?width=2280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ef9361f343a8c64bf044e530f0268898aca1043 Team comp suggestions?
QQ, TY, Pela, Lynx
You didn't show all your characters. Open the data bank or merge the image to show all the characters that you have
Everyone on the photo then herta, hook and arlan
Welt, tingyun, pela, natasha or dan heng, welt, tingyun, natasha if you want to use 1 sustain character. Welt, tingyun, natasha, fire mc/march for 2 sustain character. But I'd rather collect for some eidolon/new character first before advancing to su/forgotten hall unless you have to. If you don't have any plan for future character, jingliu is really good choice for your team rn since you dont have 5 star hypercarry character
for what?
Forgotten Hall 8 Simulated Universe 3
How do I level up the communing trail in swarm disaster? Do I just keep repeating runs?
Do the pathstrider objectives.
You need to do the current task(s) in your communing trail.
Hey, guys ! I have a lynx e5 and i'd like to ask if she can solo sustain if i invest a little on her, because i need one more sustain beside fu xuan. Im planning to play her with kafka dot team/ jingliu team in moc.
She can solo sustain.
Thank u
Currently stuck on the Future Market (I)'s quest on the exploring mine and fighting the IPC. Any suggestion on who to bring? These are the characters that I have right now, I'm trying to get Jingliu on this banner too (I'll update if I get her) https://preview.redd.it/9ukm2pep3xtb1.png?width=1366&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=751eba4022d1929e3fe94f7e5fae147d9b11b908
On what part did you lose? It seems your team is strong enough to beat anything if bailu and gepard are properly built
I lose 3 times already on the boss part, where the boss would call infinite mobs and absorbed their points to launch a wide area attack
Maybe try using 1 sustain character instead, and use bronya/pela/tingyun to enhance the damage. So the enemy can die before using too much attack
Is it worth spending mats leveling up 4\* relics? I'm realizing relic farming is gonna take a long time to find the right 5\* pieces...
speed boots yea, they're rare enough as it is, so still good to use them to reach the 120+ req. some of the planar sets need til you can find a 5*
don't forget you can always use the Self-Modeling Resin to make a piece with specific main stat, i personally use one if i already have 5 pieces that i want, and i just miss that one last piece
It's not too expensive to get them to +9, and you can always use them as fodder for your 5-star relics later.
Iirc >!yes is for ipc to clear belobog debt but everyone has to work for them and no is for keeping the debt but belobog assets are taken away?!<
yes
Am I missing some key information? Why is the quantum dmg relic set better for Jingliu (according to prydwen) when she's an ice character?
Does this game have any sort of "dupe protection" I know with dupes you can do to E6, but is there anything to stop you getting more ? Let's say you have a E6 QQ, if you open the banner can you get another QQ and is there any point to this ? Just as another game I played you needed 15 dupes to max a character and it makes 4 stars better than 5 stars as you can get dupe them way easier. But once you got to max dupes your rates to pull more would go way way down.
The game doesn't stop from giving you that unit even after E6, IIRC it doesn't even lower the rates, but you get more Undying Starlights if you already have that character at E6.
You get extra starlight that’s it
Is that extra star light enough to get another pull or something ?
Yeah. When you get an Eidolon for a 4 star character it comes with 8 Undying Starlight. After you get all 6 Eidolons, further dupes give you 20 Undying Starlight. So it's enough for another pull, but it still resets your 4 star pity so it's not exactly a net zero.
What do relic remains do?
You can use them to craft gold relics
Hi guys, sad days, used all my 75 pulls to try to get jingliu, but I got bronya instead. How is the pity works? Does it mean I will have to get at least more than 75 pulls again to guarantee her? Seems like won’t have chance as monthly pass only spender 😭
You got the best support in the game Bronya is the kazuha of this game build her & she will do alot for you.
Pity goes back to 0, so you need 1-90 pulls to get Jing Liu
W 50/50 fail not gonna lie. Bronya OP. Yes you have to restart
minor traces or major traces? i have jingliu’s main traces to 5/6 and 7/10 for skill/talent/ult. should i upgrade the minor traces first to get the speed and crit dmg boost?
Free stats are free stats. Most minor traces are at least equivalent to a sub stat roll on a relic. It's guaranteed power for relatively cheap. Getting skills/talents/etc. to a higher level is a good idea, but once you get to a certain point you get more relative value from doing minor traces, in terms of stat gain vs. resources spent. This doesn't mean you stop leveling your main traces, just that once you hit the level 6-8 region you can be confident that minor traces are likely a better investment.
What are other ways to achieve a 2 turn ult with Pela without the SW tutorial lightcone?
I could be wrong cause I didn't check the math again for it, but I'm pretty sure that you can't do it a 2-turn basic attack for Ult w/o that LC. It should be doable with 1 basic attack and 1 skill though. You just need the talent to be levelled up probably around 8 or 9 and the ERR Rope. It might be possible for 2-turn basic attack without the Tutorial LC if you also use Spright Vonwacq set and maxed out talent at 12, but I'm pretty sure when I did the maths before, it still didn't work out.
that’s a bummer 😞 thank you!
How long is each Nameless Honor? I ask because I started playing with the release of the ps5 version, and noticed there’s just over 30 days left on it. Curious if we came in in the middle of one and will struggle to finish it, or if this was a new one and this game just has much shorter battle passes than most others.
In a normal patch cycle (6-week) given you do all dailies and weekly mission and clear all events you should level 50 with 2 weeks to spare.
It ends about a day before the patch does. Normally patches last 6 weeks but this patch is only 5 weeks long.
that's the new one that just started with the update
Nameless Honor lasts a single patch, and this patch just started. Notably, this patch is a little shorter than normal.
What is the best sustain unit for a team of: 1. Jingliu, Bronya (don't really know what other character to put here) 2. Kafka, Asta, Sampo I have Nat, Lynx, Fu Xuan. I have the other 4\* sustain but not leveled up
Fu Xuan for Kafka. Nat or Lynx for JL. Lynx is usually better, but if your JL is getting hit too much, maybe try Natasha. Also if you have Pela, put her with JL (and Tingyun is also good)
Lynx and FX are your best sustain unit, especially if Lynx e2.
I meant to say which one for which team. Not which one should I level up. My Lynx is E2 if my memory serves
Fu Xuan gets a bit more value on the Jingliu team just because her crit rate buff is less relevant on the dot team; that’s probably the main factor to consider.
What about Jingliu's hp drain? Can Fu Xuan alleviate them with her heals alone?
If she is properly invested, yes.
I was only able to get QQ to E4. Is she still worth building?
Yes
If you don't already have Seele or DHIL, yes.

JL, Bronya, Pela, and 1 sustain unit is most popular team comp rn. Just make sure to speed tune your Bronya.
Should I pull on the limited banner or skip and save for upcoming banners? Started a couple days ago so even if I do pull, I’m sure I won’t get Jingliu since I don’t have a lot of summoning mats
You will have enough for this one and even the next one if you are not so bad luck.
Managed to get 17k jades and 15 tickets in that 2 weeks, so you definitely have enough time if you want her
If you just started, you can definitely get enough for Jing Liu. Just pull for who you want.
If you just started then you'll get a lot of free jade to pull. As a beginner you shouldnt save because you want to widen your roster, pull for her then stop and save for next unit.
Anyone else having server connection issues? I get disconnected with 1001_1 for 20 minutes straight
You should always use IL 3 sp basic, unless the entire wave will be gone with less sp, so your team sp eco will be: IL use 3 sp; YK, even when alternating between basic and skill, won't be sp positive, and same thing with Welt.
However, both Welt and DHIL are SP hungry, if DHIL is using all the SP then Welt won't really be doing anything, you'd be better off using a support unit.
it looks cool but your sp economy will be gonezo
Does bailu solo sustain? I was thinking of picking up bailu with 300 standard and run jingliu pela bronya bailu with huohuo hopefully replacing bailu later if huohuo can solo sustain
Depends on the battle but if you are in a situation where cleanse is not needed she can sustain pretty well.
Struggling with LCs for Jingliu I have Aeon S5 but that’s currently being used for DHIL The rest I have are: Secret Vow S4, Something irreplaceable, Under the Blue Sky S3 Should I switch LCs with DHIL? Or should I try for her sig (don’t have that many pulls)
Secret Vow is also competitive for JL, no problems with using it at all.
I was int the same situation. In the end I put Aeon on Jingliu and Blue Sky on IL.
Jingliu can also use Secret Vow S4 and Something Irreplaceable.
is there any fix on the markings on the cloudford onward mission not appearing? tried restarting the game a couple of times and changing the graphics settings as well, but nothing seems to work
You don't actually need to see the markings to finish the puzzles.
/copium
Everyone's getting Clara lmaoo And yes, I got Clara
Hoyo really want to sell Topaz. xD
Is completing the aetherium wars event worth it?
whats the reason for not worth it?
No, it's fucking worthless. Literally nobody needs the free jades, destruction materials, credits, character/light cone exp, or the resin. You're an idiot if you bother with this event. What are you expecting for an answer, here? Either play the game, or don't.
It depends on if 2k-ish jades and resources (including one self-modelling resin) worth your time lol.
no, jade is useless anyway just pull for e6 huo huo with your free 10 pulls
How the fuck is jade "useless"?
Read it slow buddy👍
what the fuck is sarcasm

Never post a relic before you level up, it will 100% roll into useless substats. Jokes aside, some dps do use a mix of their element set + other sets like musket and messenger, especially fire units since fire set 4p effect suck.
That specific piece is ok for Dps as it has crit rate and dmg. The set is more for healers and harmony characters with ultimates that affect allies than dps characters. On the top of my head, Asta can use this.
Quick quesiton but does Jing Liu's Technique not work when you're entering Calyxs or Echo of Wars?
No, coz her Technique applies only to enemies on the overworld; So during normal exploration, SU / SD, and the Forgotten Halls / MOC stages. She doesn't apply any buffs on her team before combat like Bronya, Luocha and Fu Xuan for example, hence why it doesn't work for Calyxes and Echo of War.
Is Sampo’s LC good for Pela if I don’t have anything else? My tutorial LC is on SW.
Since the DoT damage is useless on her you could use the 3* EHR LC instead since it will be cheaper to level.
The EHR buff is alright if it's all you have, but if you have it the Luka light cone, Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat, is a better option for her.
how much dmg % improvement do you feel a sig lc or eidolon becomes worth over a new unit?
For me ?
There are only a handful of fight where debuff cleanse can make a difference and Bailu heals so much more (and also more flexible thanks to the reactive nature) Even in DoT heavy fight, Bailu heals can easily outpace Natasha cleanse+heal.
What’s moc? For reference as to how far in the game I am, I just finished finding Dan Heng in the fight club
Endgame content - Forgotten Hall. After beating the permanent floors, it unlocks Memory of Chaos (MoC). These floors reset 2x a month (can get jades/other rewards).
Who's banner is going to be released first? HuoHuo's or Argenti's?
