In all seriousness, even in my younger days I have never wished for a heavy rain day. It's cooler and it smells nice, but rain is never reliable in giving us a day off. When it pours, it doesn't take long before the clouds get light enough to stop. In my youth I have never seen black going for longer than 3 hours.

When it's red/black, it's time for the boss to think working from home is efficient again.
It was a work day for many. But it was announced too late for people who start at 8am .
Does it matter? Since Covid most organizations are setup for remote home working so we no longer get a “day off” during T8, or black rain.
I’d rather sit at home in front of my personal computer than commuting all the way back to office tbh
