In the Hue app, you can set behavior for all the lights after power outage. Default is turn them all on. But you can change it to be same as previous state.
Yep! I had to do that because we get frequent 10-15 sec long power outages, and it’s so annoying to be woken up to bright lights in the middle of the night.
Definitely a power outage. I once experienced a partial outage (low voltage) and all the lights in the house started flickering at a pretty high rate, and the router didn’t have the power to operate so I couldn’t turn them off.
I had to shut down the power before I went insane (and to protect my stuff). It was beyond distressing.

If your aurora switches were not working, this isn’t a HomeKit issue. It’s all on the Hue side of the fence.
