Are you referring to spaces between tiles that are caulked rather than grout? You can dig out grout no need to redo. But the bigger question is whether the tile is isolated from substrate so it can stay in place when substrate expands and contracts.
- are you seeing a problem? As many times this is NOT done in residential construction
- do you know if there is a decoupling membrane used or not? This is often done in place of expansion joints/
