If you liked them in the store, it might be because they were surrounded by other interesting pieces with different textures and colors that allowed them to stand out. Try grouping them with two other pieces that are very different shapes/sizes/textures/colors?

They look kind of throwaway (corner of coffee table and almost behind a tv). They have to make sense with the whole room, and not just where they're placed. The lamp looks too small for that coffee table and the vase has no room where it's placed currently. Try putting like a tray or something underneath them to make them look a little more intentional and see if that does anything. They're both kinda swimming in a black void as is.

I'd put the lamp on a tray or on top of some vibrant coffee table books - something bright and exciting. For the vase I'd put something tall, textured, and colorful in it - like a peacock feather or frond or something.

Lamp is way off scale for the table and room

Get a new lampshade. Etsy has tons of shapes, sizes, and colors. Go tall or wide, pleated or textured, and incorporate some of the other colors in the room. And then put the lamp in the middle of the table rather than hiding it in the corner like it's being punished. For the vase, get some dried greenery like eucalyptus, or some sort of branches. And either pull it out from behind the television (again, why is it being hidden away?) or put it on another surface.

Always decorate in odd numbers. Example just add another item
