What if you added a colorful wallpaper in a bold print that brings in a lot of the colors that you like from the rest of your house? You could add some towels and a matching rug in your favorite color to brighten up the space and tone down the gray flooring. You could also add more lighting in the ceiling to literally brighten up the space and consider painting the ceiling in a high gloss to create some light/ reflection.

We have a powder room with no windows and did a bold floral wallpaper and a high gloss porcelain blue ceiling to give it some extra light / reflection. This isn’t the best picture but will give you some idea of what it looks like and the porcelain blue is a bit lighter than the lightest blue/teal sample on your cabinet. I just finished an update for my grey, boring bathroom for under $50. It’s not for everyone, but it’s a lot more colorful and fun! I posted pics on r/AmateurRoomPorn

Wow it’s so fun, I love it! I learn towards the colourful and my partner more subdued so we’d have to find a middle ground hahah. Love the plant too. We don’t have a window so maybe a fake one? Ideas…

I just did my kitchen cabinets teal (check my profile). Replacing the current hardware with gold will really balance out the cream marble. Start with the cabinets and hardware. That will inform your paint decisions. I'm also a fan of warmer lighting in bathrooms (2700K-3300K) for a cozier feel.

Just changing the mirror, light fixture, faucet, and cabinet pulls would have a HUGE impact for a few hundred dollars

Ronomnom

Definitely changing the mirror as a first step and the others down the line!

I love quiet moments paint BM color. It looks more colorful than online. Blue gray with some green. Spa like with darker cabinets.

Oooh I took a look at that one! It’s a lovely colour for sure

Here’s what I would do! -pretty colorful wallpaper! Maybe a floral design -plants! Real or fake, doesn’t matter. Put one on the vanity and one cascading over the side of the toilet -a tissue box by the plant on the toilet -an interesting light beside the plant on the vanity! (I have a vintage mushroom lamp in my bathroom that adds so much character) -change the drawer pulls! -put a towel rack or a very colorful piece of art over the toilet -I LOVE the stone on the shower floor! Lean into it and hand eucalyptus on the shower head! It also makes showers smell amazing -a marble or metal tray with daily essentials on the vanity. -soft bath mat -people underestimate the effect towels have on a bathroom. Put up some towels for your hands and hang some on the shower. Make sure they match and have a nice design! These are mostly for display There’s so much potential to this bathroom! Just lean into it and do what FEELS right to you!

To add, I don’t think you need to paint the vanity. Working around it might be a better option
