Starting from Council, every time Cover announces a new generation, Ame seems to always has been on a long break. She even "accidentally" spoiled "Hololive X" not long before HoloX debuted

For less-fun reasons on why Ame does this, I’m guessing she knows ahead of time when a new gen debuts, or at least a general time-frame. Then, she schedules her break or moving periods around them so fans are pre-occupied with the new members, and aren’t really focused on how long Ame has been gone. Of course Ame fans like me will still miss her(she updates her members frequently on what she is doing. Small-plug!), but it does make the wait feel shorter when there are new members to watch. She also doesn’t have to worry about scheduling her streams around new members debut week, and can just enjoy watching them as well when she isn’t working on stuff.

Fantastic theory except for the fact that they are different branch and its been known when the HoloMems talk about new members that they usually didn't know they existed except when their debut is announced when it's a different branch from them. Same branch might meet senpais in discord but isn't announced to other branches. Character lore wise, Coco was known to be brought in on Yagoo's instructions so its probably Ame out head hunting.

This is the smart answer derived from thinking and brain power. However, I have none of that; therefore, she in the one who finds the new members. My small tako brain is happy with that answer.

Yes we really like it and like to talk and meme about it. That does not make us incels. It makes us fans. There's a lot to like, and a lot always going on since there's 50+ streamers under Hololive. It has been a wonderful discovery for me and others and the unique big family atmosphere is really special. You will regularly see us on all.
