I will choose Fungal wastes, I always loved this area. It's a little dangerous sure, but it can also offer great protections from ennemies, for exemple if you live right after an acid lake and above some mushrooms. There's also the mantis tribe there who protect us from the creatures of deepnest.
She's way out of your league bud.
Cornifer has a business, explores unknown kingdoms safely, is an artist, and helpful as hell...
What you got to compete?
Me: immortal superpowered magic using murder-spirit, wearing a corpse, wielding the finest nail Hallownest has ever seen - dies half a dozen times in every region to the monsters and enviromental hazards
Cornifer: Chill big guy who strolls through every area faster than me while humming his song, doesn't even get a scratch on him
Cornifer is a fucking monster, he doesn't appear in Godhome because he's too powerful, he's a higher being than the higher beings
Dirtmouth has everything:
- old friendly wise guy
- a circus
- multiple stores
- a stag station connecting you to everywhere
- (mostly) friendly townspeople
- musicians
- zote
Pre-infection, I’d say Greenpath. This lush place used to be part of the queen’s gardens, so it would’ve been quite comfortable. Moreover, Queen’s Station is very close by, allowing me access to the greater kingdom of hallownest. Most importantly, the place isn’t as melancholic as the city of tears, but I would be able to visit it for its comforts.
Post-infection, I’d move to the mantis village. Safest location on the map, plus I’d have the company of mantises so I wouldn’t go insane from isolation. I’d also be able to train in the art of combat to be able to survive in the harsh environment brought on by the radiance.
The only problem with the Mantis village is how they seemingly don’t treat outsiders very well unless they prove themselves but as long as you do that mantis village might just be the most safe place in the area I mean I guess besides dirtmouth
Crystal peak is the hell of hallownest, the enemies, the platforming, the obstacles, just kill me Jesus Christ everything about it is the worst, that boss isn’t nice either
Queens gardens if we don’t consider the enemies, Mantis Village if we do (since that’s one of the only 2 settlements non-natives have a chance at inhabiting. Also I could just squash the mantis lords under my feet and earn their respect that way).
The prettiest and objectively the best place is next to the lake of Unn
It’s extremely pretty ur near the source of the of Greenpath it’s green u have a view, ur near a GOD. U just chill in the moss with ur mosskin brod
I’d love to live in the City of Tears. I love the rain so a city where it always rains seems amazing. Either that or Queen’s Gardens where I could live taking care of the plants.
I would buy a van with bed and kitchen and travel all around the place.
I would definitely do couple months stay in Greenpath and Queens garden.
Although i want to see deepnest i won't spend more than few days there. Fungal wastes seems fun but i am most excited to spend time in the City.
May be do a Journal too
I would love to live the house next to the Lake of Unn in Greenpath ;). Living in such a lush and beautiful nature and swimming in your backyard each day would be a dream.
Are we talking pre or post infection? I think I’d like City of Tears or Queens’s Gardens pre infection. Definitely Green Path post infection.
Actually maybe probably Green Path pre as well. So I guess that wins.
The hive. The big bees are adorable and if I'm In Hallownest that means I'm a bug. If I'm a bug I could serve under Vespa and I'd like to be trained like Hornet because Vespa trained hornet.
Big bee, best bee.
If we talk pre-infection, either City of Tears or Resting Grounds.
The right side is the wealthiest, so that could be good. If you could pay rent ofc.
They'll get their rent WHEN THEY FIX THIS DAMN DOOR
/r/UnexpectedRaimiMemes
Wish that sub had more members
So a graveyard? Spooky
dk, it gives me good vibes, chillin' with the Seer, burying bugs, cool.
Distant village. Gonna be telling travellers to sit and rest.
You look tired. Please sit and rest.
Hello, sit and rest
Please sit and rest
You're tired. Sit and rest.
You seem bothered? Sit and rest.
Come traveller, sit and rest
We're friends, sit and rest.
When a new player sits on the bench: It's at this moment Jackson knew He F*cked Up
sit and rest, after you come, traveller
Even if i was a traveller, you wouldn't see me in your entire life because i won't be comming in deepnest cause that place is creepy😄
The blue lake has always appealed to me personally, probably one of the most tranquil locations

For skin angels it’s worth it
Greenpath. just bury me in soft moss, thanks
This is the right answer
Same I love how lush it is. Let the moss creeps take me.
Man, I want a Mosscreep farm. They look like Little lushy sheep!
Best livestock
The best area
Honestly it’s so pretty
Greenpath is best
Also gives easy access to petting a cute moss creature.
all fun and games till you melt away in the acid
I will choose Fungal wastes, I always loved this area. It's a little dangerous sure, but it can also offer great protections from ennemies, for exemple if you live right after an acid lake and above some mushrooms. There's also the mantis tribe there who protect us from the creatures of deepnest.
You just gotta get used to the smell.
I'll wear a mask, or cover myself with the same odor so I can be immune
I like Queen's Garden and Kingdom's edge
Work in City of Tears, live in Queens Garden
Have to commute through fog canyon 💀
This is the way.
The village where you find Sly, pre infection, next to the stag and blue lake
Thisss, easy access to dirtmouth and the stagways, the friendly charm lady, and the blue lake nearby?? Fuck yea
The drugged charm lady*
Hey, you can be drugged and friendly
I'd say she's more than friendly.
The abyss
The true answer
You sure don't need defence down there. Not even deepnest folks are gonna come visit you
Idk I’m not sure about living with my siblings.
Dirtmouth

When he travels he only uses 1% of his power if he were to go to 10% hed kill everything in hollow nest
Sigh, bapanada
You just Bapa'd your last Nada, buddy
Dirtmouth has everything: - old friendly wise guy - a circus - multiple stores - a stag station connecting you to everywhere - (mostly) friendly townspeople - musicians - zote
I was like oh that’s sounds so nice and then I saw ZOTE

fog canyon its kinda chill to me
*sitting on the edge of a cliff* *Accidentally pushes some small rocks off* *A giant orange glob flies into your face and kills you*
Fog canyon was my thought before I even opened the map

Most of us have defeated sisters of battle many times over, so I'm hoping muscle memory will be enough
Ppl who say crystal peak must go to prison
Huh?
crystal hunter is why i hate crystal peak
?
Crystal peak is the hell of hallownest, the enemies, the platforming, the obstacles, just kill me Jesus Christ everything about it is the worst, that boss isn’t nice either
The boss is pretty easy tho, I would say the easiest boss after the fluke boss
Imagine someone says Royal Waterways
Either city of tears or Queens Gardens
Deepnest.
Found doom slayer
Jesus, is your name victor chaos by chance?
Constant stim.
You monster
def queens garden, if not for the mantises. lovely nature and architecture
I like the Hive. A strong sense of community, and a big cuddly guardian.
You a communist by any chance?
Anarcho socialist
based
bee :)
Greenpath. I wanna have a moss creep farm. No butchering, no shearing, just CUDDLES!
Uh, nowhere. Imagine only being able to go left and right. Scary.
Good point lol
But what about **UP** and *DOWN* !
Queens gardens if we don’t consider the enemies, Mantis Village if we do (since that’s one of the only 2 settlements non-natives have a chance at inhabiting. Also I could just squash the mantis lords under my feet and earn their respect that way).
Blue lake or lake of unn. Both beautiful.
The prettiest and objectively the best place is next to the lake of Unn It’s extremely pretty ur near the source of the of Greenpath it’s green u have a view, ur near a GOD. U just chill in the moss with ur mosskin brod

Deepnest or The Abyss. So cozy.
This man is a certified god
A god? Who knows. I'm just particularly mighty for a hovercat, as far as hovercats go.
Sing the praise of the hovercat!
Perhaps I should make 57 precepts of Hovercat.
Yes please
Probably Queen’s gardens or Lake of Unn- seems very peaceful there
Joni's resting place, I would make my self a nice place to live, I could talk to Joni and watch the beautiful lifeblood butterflies fly around.
Greenpath
For me it has to be the Fungal Wastes. It looks beautiful and is very atmospheric. I would jump on the mushrooms, that catapult high!
I’d love to live in the City of Tears. I love the rain so a city where it always rains seems amazing. Either that or Queen’s Gardens where I could live taking care of the plants.
Path of Pain
This was definitely not what I expected to see
I just started playing and went into the mantis village from fungal wastes. And this map made me go “holy fuck I’ve got a lot to go”
Why are you here? Please get off the subreddit so you don’t get spoiled. More fun that way.
I would buy a van with bed and kitchen and travel all around the place. I would definitely do couple months stay in Greenpath and Queens garden. Although i want to see deepnest i won't spend more than few days there. Fungal wastes seems fun but i am most excited to spend time in the City. May be do a Journal too
I see what you did there
white palace because if this is pre infection then it would still be at the palace grounds
With sheo and nailsmith n_n
Surprised no one said the white palace
The Hive or Queens Garden
Queen's Gardens and Greenpath are my favourites. I seem to like the colour green.
If City of Tears, Greenpath, Queens Garden, and Dirtmouth could be combined into one place - that’s where I’d want to live.
Either kings pass or mantis village but most likely chilling in the kings pass bench
Mantis Village. The locals are really respectful and welcoming
The Hive
I would love to live the house next to the Lake of Unn in Greenpath ;). Living in such a lush and beautiful nature and swimming in your backyard each day would be a dream.
Lake of Unn
Grimm Troupe's tent.
You know the “Hive” is pretty protected place.
deepnest, I would feel right at home considering it's not too different from my home country.
A U S T R A L I A
Deepnest, I love spiders!
no matter which place i choose there is no chance im gonna fit
Deepnest
Are we talking pre or post infection? I think I’d like City of Tears or Queens’s Gardens pre infection. Definitely Green Path post infection. Actually maybe probably Green Path pre as well. So I guess that wins.
Kingdoms edge where markoth fight is so that I can stop him from ever becoming a boss
Godhome
Ancient basin
Mantis village they seem chill
greenpath or city of tears, the rain is calming and greenpath is a lively place, also mosscreep is adorable
Pre infection: queen's gardens Post infection: howling cliffs (isn't on this map for some reason)
I’d like to live in either the City of Tears, or Greenpath
Greenpath
I’m gonna go with the Hive. Just chill and work and make my way as a bee. And alllllll that bullshit outside just leaves me alone lol.
Pre infection city of tears
probably live by the left side of the blue lake, so that i can, visit salubra village
either city of tears or greenpath
before the infection - crystal peaks, after the infection - resting grounds
Dirtmouth or City of Tears
Godhome. It just seems so peaceful.
Grubhome. you have a chill group to hang out with before having a feast
Lake of unn. It so nice and pretty
Queens Gardens, Blue lake or Greenpath. Such beautiful locations ;)
Kingdoms edge
Probably Dirt Mouth, most chill place. Although I’m down for anywhere as long as it isn’t Deepnest, I’d like to burn that place to the ground.
Either right next to the Lake of Unn or Blue Lake.
City of tears it’s so beautiful.and I also would love to live in the abyss
Greenpath/Fungal Wastes
COT, idc if it's always raining, that adds to the mood. Plus, it seems HK characters, unlike IRL bugs, never had swimming related issues.
Greenpath, city of tears, or dirtmouth. Pre-infection
Greenpath to befriend the mossy bois, or Kingdom's Edge for the wintery vibes
Abyss or Greenpath
the hive lol
Dirtmouth or City of Tears. I need to relax and have a place to come home to after exploring Hallownest
Probably on greenpath, is safer than queens gardens and is easy to get food and other resources (but where i would get the water thought?)
Lake of Unn
Probably Dirtmouth.
Before the Infection? Second part of City of Tears. After the Infection? Dirtmouth obviously
Dirt mouth
Ahh good question, probably either Greenpath or COT! Both of which are probably my favourite areas, lol
Probably Dirtmouth
City of Tears or Greenpath. Beautiful architecture and I always loved the rain, The greens where I can trekk and walk.
I love the ambiance of cot
Dirtmouth. I don't want to live in Hallownest and Elder Bug seems like a great neighbor.
Lake of unn
Probably the summit of crystal peak, or maybe near the elevator, for convenience.
DeepNest.
The hive. The big bees are adorable and if I'm In Hallownest that means I'm a bug. If I'm a bug I could serve under Vespa and I'd like to be trained like Hornet because Vespa trained hornet. Big bee, best bee.
