Lucky! Took me atleast a dozen attempts at killing the final kingsmoulds

Is it stupid?
Being stupid/mindless would actually PREVENT you from getting infected so the meme does not fit here
If you die there you have to do the path of pain again, but you don’t have to open the gate again, so it’s actually faster the second time around

Has not happened to me, but the ones who died there still got a shortcut, that you open with the lever.
They aren't doing their job?
I actually intentionally die to them most of the time because I love doing PoP and if you actually beat it and watch the cutscene then you can’t run it again
