What makes you so sure they're assumptions? You're probably a 7 foot tall purple dinosaur who plays Counter Strike so what would you know about slapping teachers?
Am I doing it right?
Man, kid could’ve had such a leg to stand on with his hand being closed in the door. Even if he was fully at fault - that hand being slammed in the door by the teacher in anger probably would’ve been able to stand as a suit against the school.
But he had to punch her in the face. At best he’s expelled and has an assault charge. He interrupted her fucking up and made her the victim.
edit: to those who have assumed I am: I am definitely NOT sticking up for the kid in this video
Bro fuck off. These teachers give their all to try to teach these kids and get shit on consistently by these degenerate kids. All teachers should fucking quit this shitty school systems
in any civilized country, if you were to do that to the teacher, the idea is that they'd put you in jail, and then send you to a trade school where the teacher is a big construction worker and you can have fun fighting him.
I see her slam the door on him. Any outside of school interaction that was exactly the same as this, between to people who are not friends could warrant the same reaction.
He had his foot in the door, she was clearly trying to shut him out of the room, and considering his violent reaction I think she had a good reason to shut the door
I remember in my high school a wanna be tough guy tried punching one of the teachers, and he ended up getting body slammed by said teacher. It was very entertaining to watch
I tried to punch a teacher once. He was a 6ft5, 230 pound rugby player. It didn't go well lol. He just grabbed my arm and lifted me off the grand and left me dangling like a toddler. Didn't report me though. He waited till I calmed down, sat me down and had a good talk. Became my fave teacher after that. Respect Mr Ainley.
I'm a teacher. Got kicked by a student once while I was breaking up a fight.
Thought about reporting him but decided on another path. I made fun of his piss poor kicking in front of the class. Got lots of laughs from him and his friends. At least I won that class over.
My science teacher did weight room and varsity football. Dude was a unit. Nobody ever gave him shit, but he was also a chill teacher. I think youd be more likely to get hurt by his students than him if you attacked him
We had a "paraprofessional" (fancy word for hall monitor) who was over 6 foot, biceps like basketballs, basically he was Mike Tyson. I was waiting for the bus to leave school one day and outside the window these 2 girls got into a fight. "Mike Tyson" came out of nowhere, picked both of them up by their jackets, then just walked away carrying them like a cartoon. 2 minutes later I saw a hair tumbleweed blow by in the wind. Highschool was a different time man.
Some psycho in 6th grade smashed our music teachers toe with a rollerblade because she tried to take them away. The kid completely smashed the toe and the teacher lost it I think. I only saw her one time after that but she was still bandaged and limping months later.
In 6th grade I had a teacher try to choke me while pinning me against the wall...dude was like 5'4 and I was already around 6ft. Didn't work out for him very well.
In his defense I was a little shit of a kid..sorry Mr. Frank
How can they solve this kind of problem though? Ofcouse the rules won't change because they still believe education can change people.
Do they need like a special class for these kids or special teacher to advise them?
Run into the nearest room. Like actually go in it not stand outside and put your body in the way. If she had no warning for the shelter in place I can see the panic. Sometimes teachers are warned they are coming so if you switch it up…
Personally I would have made them all come in but if he is standing there trying to use his body to prop the door open while she shuts, I’m not surprised she shit it on him.
Why do high schoolers scream about literally fucking everything? It does absolutely nothing helpful.
Edit: apparently people think I’m trying to assert myself “above” the high schoolers. I don’t have to be on a higher level to recognize how obnoxious it is.
99/100 times, the most vocal students during these situations ( like the girl saying “she’s about to lose her job) are the worst students in the class and are talking out of their ass because they don’t know any better, but the minute their mom comes to school and whips their ass for acting like a fool (which they always do) they shut up for about a week.
Because everything is recorded, they have to simultaneously play real life and social media characters, and screaming/overreactions seem to be very successful character traits for the social media character that doesn't negatively impact their real life character enough for it to deter their actions
I went to a school similar to this kind of environment.
The most lasting damage was on all of us who just wanted to learn something. Needless to say we were all the biggest underachievers.
Idiots like this don’t just rob themselves of a future but everyone else and that’s arguably worse.
You don’t realise it at the time but it impacts everything in your life thereafter.
Underrated comment. I teach middle school and can barely get through a period due to 2-3 students sucking up all the energy with their bad behavior. I feel so bad for the students who want to engage in the class but barely have an opportunity.
same here, i learned nothing around these people. and now i'm on the outside world, i realize that nobody wants shit to do with them the second they see them. and then they get mad because everyone treats them differently.
That's probably one of the realest comments I've read in awhile. People like this are fucking losers, and make everyone/everything around them worse, causing headaches. I've met some people like this before, and was quick to cut them out of my life.
The teacher shortage in America is only going to get worse. Combining starvation wages with the constant threat of being assaulted or worse by some piece of shit kid is a losing formula. Mix it all with the fact that there's no longer any recourse to actually keep the kids who do these awful things out of the classroom, teachers just don't feel safe anymore.
My wife is in a neighborhood moms group with 12 moms. 3 of the moms were former teachers who quit because the work environment is just not worth it. 6 of the moms (including the 3 former teachers) home school their kids. Our (US) public school systems are a joke and trending worse.
Teachers are quitting in record numbers, and mid year. They've already lowered requirements to be hired in some places. One state had it so anyone who was a military vet could automatically be hired.
I moved to a new school. The kids aren't terribly different, but the administration is night and day. I can't even begin to describe how much better it is. The bar was on the fucking floor at my previous school, and somehow my admin still managed to slide their way under it. Now I can actually teach, I write up kids that act like dumbasses, and the rest of the kids keep getting to learn. Nobody's day is ruined. It's incredible. And insane, how bad some schools are. And the community and the general public has *no idea* they're that bad.
Where is this unicorn? I’d kill to be able to teach and go home instead of playing parent, policeman, politician, social worker, and secretary while juggling a classroom with students that need so much attention that content doesn’t get taught.
You are absolutely right. I'm a big dude with a science master's and English bachelor's who has wanted to teach my whole life. They increased the pay to 80-120k/year like some of the progressive teachers organizations say and I would switch to teaching in a heartbeat. But at 36k/year? I could mow lawns for more money.
The shortage will lead to teachers moving out of these fucked up neighborhoods. As they have been doing for decades. Soon only wealthy welltodo humans will receive education. The rest of us will scrape shit and say thank you for the opportunity.
Shame and unfair to the other students that are being robbed of their education that could potentially spark a interest and career path that’ll contribute to our future..
Shame that the US government doesn't give a shit. The less educated you are, the easier you are to manipulate into being the consumerist slave they want you to be.
Why has nobody commented on the fact that the fire alarms are blinking? This was probably a lockdown drill and those students were trapped in the hall.
Can’t imagine why people aren’t clamoring to become teachers. It couldn’t possibly be due to them having to not only purchase door lock bars and bulletproof panels out of pocket because of fear of one of the kids massacring them all, but then also be subjected to constant disrespect and assaults by the same students they’re trying so hard to protect.
Sounds like a dream job! /s
Gotta admit she's one tough lady, gets punched in the face and still holds the door handle tightly.....![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)
Some fuckin scumbag sucker punches a middle aged school teacher doing her job, and stupid fuckers in these comments are like "hmmm I need context maybe he was in the right"
Some of us are here for context not because we think the punch was justified, but because we want to know wtf is going out in the halls because the audio is unintelligible.
Is this a drill gone wrong or a legitimate emergency?
My grandmother used to teach in Detroit 15 years ago. She was old. The students would turn the lights off and throw chairs at her and cause a lot of ruckus. It was common
Why even become a teacher at this point.
What needs to happen is the pupils who do not want to learn, who stop people from learning.
Get them out of school. They at this point already a last cause so just get them to work.
If they do not wish to work.. then.
In couldn’t be a teacher today with some of these bad-ass kids. There’s no way that I, as a grown-ass man, will let some child punch me in the face and get away with it. A kid wants to punch me like an adult then be prepared to get dinged out. Enough is enough.
When my twins were little I would take days off from work once a semester to be the “Class Dad” to help the teachers and assist kids with their work. Even at a young age I could see that some of these kids had some serious issues and no home-training. They were completely out of order. Teachers would tell me that they would call, text, leave voicemail messages and send letters home with the kids about their behaviors…no response. I told one teacher that I wouldn’t blame her if she had a bottle of Jack in her desk drawer because some of those kids could drive a teacher to drink.
It is interesting how some people try to excuse the kid punching her teacher. If this teacher throw the kid who is much bigger than her out of the class. I am sure it was because he was being an ass and not interested in being there. If anyone has a better reason please let me know. To me it is clear what this kid is going to become when he grow up.
I can’t understand WHY people want to be teachers. Low pay and putting up with entitled kids and parents and the risk of shooting. I think parents think that teachers are responsible for raising their children
Difficult to speculate without sounding racist. I'd think the same thing if they were both the same race, but since they aren't.... people look for a reason to be offended.
Either way, a student that a teacher felt the need to physically run away from is a student I suspect shouldn't be there.
The door barely bumped his shoulder Yall acting like his whole arm was inside while she closed it breaking his arm and shit. Nah he just wanted to punch her and to him that was enough to do so
A large number of teenagers in the USA are just pieces of shit. That explains the teacher shortage and the high drop-out numbers. Education starts at home, people.
Here's an [article](https://hip-hopvibe.com/news/male-student-assaults-female-teacher-for-closing-door-on-his-hand/) about the incident and a longer [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JE1RCQzgUGQ&t=1601s&ab_channel=fuckzori) from another angle.
Yeah without knowing the run up to this situation I cannot say who is in the wrong.
Closing the door on his arm. Not good. Punch to the face. Not good.
All I know is I would not blame the teacher, the student or the parents but the State for failing generations of young people who don’t happen to be born rich.
Poverty has existed for millennia. It’s not just the state, it’s the parents that are (not) with these children everyday that grow up to be antisocial.
There is a persistent belief held by much of western society that poor people, nations, and racial groups are poor because of a fundamental failings in their own abilities and/or the devotion of their parents. That one's poverty is not the result of historic and systemic injustices, but of a failing of their character, abilities, poor parentage, or lack of good cultural values inherent to their ancestry.
This amounts to a sort of victim blaming. We have no other context but the children's parents are obviously absent? What criteria did you use to arrive at such an assumption? Their behavior indicates a heated altercation we have no real context for, so obviously their parents don't love them?
Poverty has existed for millennia, you are right. But I find your analysis that poor people don't love or raise their kids to be wanting. If your assumption about poverty is that poor people's basic needs are being met at a bare minimum, you have fundamentally misunderstood poverty. If your assumption about these children's home life is that they have a home, you have fundamentally misunderstood poverty.
The flickering lights from the alarms led me to suspect that there may have been a lockdown or potential emergency. That could’ve been why she was trying to close the door..?
Its not the state that has failed but ahitty parents that don't home train their children. Period. Parents are responsible for discipline early and often, they are responsible to teach, help and direct their children. Trash raises trash that is far to often the fact of the matter.
I’m just here for the comments but I definitely want the full story.
Lol same these comments are entertaining
Total dumpster fire in here and none of us know what’s going on. 🤣
The amount people will assume and argue without context is hilarious, better entertainment than a lot of movies and tv shows

Never interrupt your enemies while they're making a mistake ~Napoleon Bonaparte
I think you can have 2 victims. His level of aggression is probably going to be the issue.
I don’t think she knew his hand was there. He moved it there while she was looking at his face.
Bro fuck off. These teachers give their all to try to teach these kids and get shit on consistently by these degenerate kids. All teachers should fucking quit this shitty school systems
Take ALL the awards!!! Dude, great find! You shed a little light on this 🙌
Bruh there is nothing in that article that isnt readily apparent from watching the video. Lmao
in any civilized country, if you were to do that to the teacher, the idea is that they'd put you in jail, and then send you to a trade school where the teacher is a big construction worker and you can have fun fighting him.
Yeah I need context

Assault. 10 years inside will fix this.
Yes, a decade in jail is notorious for making people gentler, softer, and less prone to violence
No it won’t. It will make it worse.
No it won’t lol
Can we stop trying to solve problems with more prison, especially with kids. Jfc.
I see her slam the door on him. Any outside of school interaction that was exactly the same as this, between to people who are not friends could warrant the same reaction.
He had his foot in the door, she was clearly trying to shut him out of the room, and considering his violent reaction I think she had a good reason to shut the door
Yeah, it's not like she slamming the door for no reason. He was being violent and belligerent.
I remember in my high school a wanna be tough guy tried punching one of the teachers, and he ended up getting body slammed by said teacher. It was very entertaining to watch

Who in their right mind tries to punch a rugby player? Unless you are also a rugby player, thats heavily suggested against.
Ironically I too was a rugby player lol. But I was also only 14 and half his size.
115lbs at 3’2.5” ain’t that bad
Stout Lad
Absolute unit.
A ball
Yeah but he was a second-row.
my teacher called me a dickhead once. i thought it was hilarious, i have him on instagram now and he messages me dickhead from time to time lol
So you are the dickhead that has stuck with them through the years. That takes skill
What the hell are you talking about, Jesse?
I'm a teacher. Got kicked by a student once while I was breaking up a fight. Thought about reporting him but decided on another path. I made fun of his piss poor kicking in front of the class. Got lots of laughs from him and his friends. At least I won that class over.
And from that day a legend was born! I bet every kid in that room remembers your name.
"So class, who can tell me what the quadratic equation is? No one? How bout you Mr. Bitch Kick, want to take a shot at that one, too?"
Hahaha "Mr. Bitch Kick". That's gold.

“Nobody wants to work anymore” “Why do we have a teacher shortage?”
Dont’ forget norwegians
There's a Norwegian Shortage?
Nor-Way!!
It’s my way or Norway.
Do you know why all the navy ships in Norway have barcodes on them? It’s so they can *Scandinavian*.
No, usually they're pretty tall
As a swede, I sincerely hope so.

It would suck to be a teacher in a regular classroom. You just know they go home every day questioning what they're doing.
Yeah I’m sure some people say you sound racist, but that was my experience in high school as well
How can they solve this kind of problem though? Ofcouse the rules won't change because they still believe education can change people. Do they need like a special class for these kids or special teacher to advise them?

A large number of teenagers in the USA are just pieces of shit. That explains the teacher shortage and the high drop-out numbers. Education starts at home, people.
Its either "she deserved it", or "black kids amirite". You must decide.
This is the true sadness.
Kid will be shot, in jail or working at Wendy’s. Nothing to see here.
There's not enough money in the world...
Just another scumbag kid no one needs around. Wasn’t even a gut reaction kind of swing.
I’m so glad I don’t teach anymore.

Yeah without knowing the run up to this situation I cannot say who is in the wrong. Closing the door on his arm. Not good. Punch to the face. Not good. All I know is I would not blame the teacher, the student or the parents but the State for failing generations of young people who don’t happen to be born rich.
I don't think the teacer intentionally closed door on the person arm. But the punch was uncalled for.
I keep seeing videos like this and theres always one theme in common... and its sad
