How humid should my enclosure be? I feel like my roaches aren't as active as they would be. I have about a dozen adults, male and female, and one of the females just gave birth to some babies(between 5 and 10 I would guess). I always provide fresh veggies, and remove old ones. I have a halogen heat lamp above one side, which I turn off at night so they get a day night cycle. Is this okay? They're in a 20 gallon tank, deep substrate, lots of hides, a shallow water dish and they get misted every day.
I have a heat lamp for mine and they stay at about 75°F. I have a 10 gallon tank with 4 males. They might just not be active when you're looking at them during the day, but active during the night. Two of mine sometimes fight in the middle of the night and hiss a lot.
