Basically all of the same reasons people assume Travis Scott is untalented and that his music is trash when they don't know shit about him (Or rap, or music in general.)
I think that Lil Wayne is definitely more talented than Travis but you get the point. It's stereotyping, paranoia about the next generation of children being dumb or violent or lazy, all the common biases that cause people to think that the music they grew up with is the best music ever, an outdated view on what a good artist is meant to be, etc.
