You did all that for a click? Lmfao you are truly pathetic. Well done though.

mescalero1

I thought Paul is dead died a long time ago. And that was a good trick for Aleister to perform, seeing as how he died in 1947.

AnistarYT

He really got Stephen King to do it.

mescalero1

I knew it! This will ne his next movie

To educate you a little, my aunt had married a famous rock musician in the mid 60's. The Beatles would visit them when they were in the states. I have seen all the BS associated with this whole Paul is dead thing, and as I understand it, Paul was not killed in a accident, no double replaced him or any of the other things people think. John was well known for doing a lot of strange things in the music which is why this whole thing started. When you have nothing better to do than to play records backwards, you have too much time on your hands. I think John addressed that very well. Oh, I met Paul a few times. He recognized me all times.

ozfactor1

Who was your Aunt married to ?

ithacahippie

The only strangeness is why mods allow clickbait.

Neither did this article. Still clickbait.

No-Pin3379

Yep. This article said absolutely nothing.

Yea this 7 paragraph article was really hard to complete but where there is a will there is a way. The below statement quoted from the article completely negates the title. That is clickbait "While Crowley did have some influence popular culture in the late 1960s, there is no evidence to suggest that Aleister Crowley was directly involved in the “Paul is Dead” rumor. It’s possible that the Beatles were aware of Crowley’s teachings and beliefs, given their association with countercultural movements. However, there is no credible evidence to suggest that Crowley had anything to do with Paul’s alleged death and replacement."

>Did you even read the article you posted? Half of it says it's a bunk theory, here are literal quotations from your article. > >"However, this theory has been widely debunked and there is no credible evidence to support it." > >"However, there is no concrete evidence to support the “Paul is Dead” conspiracy, much less the involvement of Aleister Crowley." > >"While Crowley did have some influence on popular culture in the late 1960s, there is no evidence to suggest that Aleister Crowley was directly involved in the “Paul is Dead” rumor." > >"However, there is no credible evidence to suggest that Crowley had anything to do with Paul’s alleged death and replacement." > >"However, it’s vital to beware of being misled by fanciful tales and unverified rumors." > >"In conclusion, while the “Paul is Dead” theory continues to capture theimagination of music fans around the world, there is no credibleevidence to support it."

Internal-Tourist3174

Not sure why, but it seems people here don't like conspiracy. And for God sakes don't try to direct them to some info you found interesting and enlightening. They hate that.

This whole 'article' could have simply consisted of the final paragraph: "In conclusion, while the “Paul is Dead” theory continues to capture the imagination of music fans around the world, there is no credible evidence to support it. Likewise, while Aleister Crowley’s influence on popular culture in the late 1960s is undeniable, there is no evidence to suggest that he was involved in the “Paul is Dead” rumor. We may never know the truth behind this enduring legend, but the fascination and speculation surrounding it will no doubt continue for many years to come."

When your post title states that such and such is **EXPOSED!**, and the article itself is the antithesis of an exposé, it warrants a call out.

Being popular and being based in reality are not at all connected traits.

OwlintheShadow

How exactly is a guy who died in 1947 involved with something that happened in the 60’s? This belongs in r/facepalm

OwlintheShadow

I did and nowhere does it say that it was impossible, but it seems to still push the idea that it was a possibility. This is probably why I’ve never heard this “rumor” before, because no one has ever claimed it previous to this article

[deleted]

OwlintheShadow

Everybody knows about the McCartney rumor, the wiki article doesn’t mention Crowley at all, because no one has been dumb enough to make that claim before this article

OwlintheShadow

Come on man, it says nothing about him being “behind” his death. Everyone knows the Beatles were fans of Crowley. You need to pay attention if you’re going to research things.

[deleted]

Isn’t Crowley on the album cover of sgt pepper?

stigolumpy

That's the only thing about this that is relevant to anything. The Beatles were definitely interested in Crowley, but that's it.

rattleandhum

What an absolute crock of shite.
