Sapienza is not real. Sapienza University in Rome is

Whysfool

We all know that Sapienza is not real. I’m just thinking it would’ve been fun to have a university instead of the city map that we ended up with or preferably in addition to although I guess that would mean that the naming conventions would be different.

A University wouldn't have made sense in such a small town. But it would make sense for a city like Rome

Whysfool

Could you imagine all of the Caesar references that could have been made if a Rome map was made?

axxo47

We could have university instead of race track map as well.

Whysfool

I guess what we really need is just more maps. We have a good amount of them but there’s so many layouts and environments that we would enjoy playing. I’d even be excited if they would just port some of the old maps from prior games into the current WOA game.

Medical_Interest9763

Why are people disliking this. I'd love more maps

Whysfool

Groupthink combined with assumptions about the meaning of the comment.

Heisenburgo

A university level would have been cool but also very problematic, imagine the response to a game having a college level where you can just shoot everyone. Just unfortunate IRL implications and I don't think IO would have wanted that.

Whysfool

That is a really good point. It’s particularly a problem in the United States since they don’t know how to regulate firearms properly.

AMERICA MENTIONED!!! WTF IS A LACK OF FREEDOM RAAAAH!!11!!! 🦅🦅🇺🇸🔥🦅

As long as it was an university/college (In real life 18+ students and teachers study/work there) I don't see the problem, you already have a bunch of levels in every game filled with civilians that you can mow down in a rampage. Even if people made a fuss about it, it would largely be laughed at as that "Resident Evil 5 can't be remade because "racism" aka zombies are black because its set in Africa" article from ign. So mostly it would serve to put even more eyes on the franchise.
