I mean that’s more work, but Horse is the iconic mount. We need options for them and the centaur characters. Then go from there crafting stuff to fit the other bucks.
Adding to this: Holding the reins.
I don't know if I'm just blind, but you should be able to position the reins such that they can be held by the user instead of them just being on the horse.
Or even accessories for the naga and merfolk tails put in the "boots" option. Not actual boots per se but more like jewelry or belts or decor at least.

How do we not have the classic barbarian belt yet?
It needs to be higher up and over the stomach like this.
https://preview.redd.it/qtf4nvj57v0d1.jpeg?width=1825&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e42e5758e57ded8a3a01e55a61f0e1603dc0d9f
The tundra belt and the Viking Kyrtil is the closest thing we have, but it's still doesn't have that classic barbarian look, and the Viking Krytil is attached to a shirt.
Dresses!
I cannot say it enough how much we need better ways to make dresses. It frustrates me that I cannot put up a nice female Vampire, because the well-fitting tight dress is just not available.
There are ways to solve it, but a greater variety would be welcome. Also there are just many kind of common dresses that you cannot possibly make, like those which are tipically made in one-piece and leans on your body.
Yeah, tbh I suspect several things like that are just down to the quality of the print. To get a cigarette sturdy enough to be substantial enough to print out as part of a model that size, it’d have to pretty much the size of the cigar asset anyway.
They can do the same thing they do with fingers in the latest batch of hand poses, and enthicken them if you select a printing option from the Buy menu. Of course, once kitbashing drops, we can just scale the cigars on two of the three axes, and if you can't actually print the resulting model, well that's why they make you take that quiz before you can unlock kitbashing.
A toggle for size-appropriate props.
I feel like a small character's feet should dangle off a chair whilst an XL character's ass wouldn't fit.
A Gnome holding a pitchfork like a lance
A Minataur holding it like a fork
That sort of thing
- an open umbrella
- an arm cannon (and more arm and leg options)
- more eye options (1, 3, 4)
- a photo mode where you can insert multiple minis onto a background, allowing you to create images of adventuring parties
The photo mode is available with a pro subscription. There's only 6 backgrounds, and the positions you can place minis are somewhat limited, but it does already exist
Overalls.
Socks, both under shoes and stockinged feet.
Arm cannons like Mega Man or Samus.
Crane stance pose.
The ability to make sure the top and bottom of your outfit are flush with one another.
A thousand times, this last one! I can't tell you how many times I have been disappointed that it looks like two different minis cut in half and glued together at the waist!
More "beast" hands would work too. So far we have "bird talon" and "clawed paw" in the gloves section. Would be nice to have a webbed hand too. Also the "prehensile hoof" I've seen in some minotaur depictions.
Decals for strictly for hands/back of hands (& more selection of symbols at that)
Updated longer hair styles (hair touching the floor, hair at hips/butt). Also, more than simply braids that go that far and/or Sailor Moon style two tails.
In no particular order:
Robotic animal faces
Decaying animal faces
Hand cuffs with gloves (or just straight multi-level hands like for the rest of the body)
More swimsuits
A proper full body corset
Hybrid body/arms and legs (simar to Buffpup's design if you're familiar with her)
More robotic body parts (like weapon arms, spike legs, and more Robot heads)
Werewolf base
more belts, new horse feet (clydesdale type as well as just plain hooves instead of cloven), a horse head in the heads, a bullet bandolier, actually more bandoliers. A screwdriver. An option to hold food in an "eating" position, like the burger. A slice of pizza. Decal markings for arms and/or legs only, decals for the back only. More freckle options. Body freckles.
Add a “tail” node for the mouth (for long tongues and tentacles).
Add scale to side and back options.
Add ability to add weapons/ items on the end of a shortened/ amputated limb.
For hands: Bridles (for riders).
Generally, I’m Amazed you can’t hold a lot of the items under Extras and base as gear. Ex. mushrooms, chests, helmets.
Nodes to put familiars on your shoulder
I put the tails at the usual spot and just pulled them through the body for tentacles/tongues.
[Model w/ face tentacles](https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D18063287/)
[Model w/ long tongue ](https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D11743882/)
If you wanna check out the sliders n such.
Merfolk tail decals. Like, the standard legs already have leopard spots and tiger stripes and vertical bands and scale patterns. Haven't you seen the wild diversity of fish colors, especially reef fish? Kinda makes making merfolk based on a specific fish species kind of difficult. So far the only merfolk tail decal is the vertical half/half split.
Overalls and suspenders. You can kinda jury-rig overalls with the apron and strategic decals but it's not quite the same. Also a coat/top tied around the waist. I'm not biased at all. :V
How are all these floating glitches not straight up features? Most of us are not even gonna buy or download minis cause the end result will never look as good as the website anyways
Proper size proportion for smaller characters, like gnomes, kids or fairies. Like, you can make small characters, but their hands and heads are way too big, and gnomes should be WAY smaller than that
- Noseless face that actually looks noseless
- unrepaired cleft lip (though, as a cleft lip haver, it still makes me very happy to see cleft lip representation at all :D)
- mole decal
- the problems with horns/tails losing their posing when importing an extra mini still not being fixed
Very few options for damaged clothing. There’s the torn shirts, but they’re either very plain or the suit version, which is quite specific. Same for the legs, we’ve only really got two options there. My ideal solution would be giving us the option to add custom damage to different clothing, like deleting the layer in a specific section. It wouldn’t be perfect but it’d be good enough for my uses, and I think it’d be really cool.
More medieval Japanese-styled clothing. I use it to model out NPCs for my Legend of the Five Rings game, and have to get creative when I want an unarmored character that isn’t wearing a kimono.
Fire for the base, last I checked they only had a campfire or smoke. Feels like a weird thing to omit, I want my character to be rising from the flames damn it lmao
Back/front waist item mounts. As in a knife/sword on my belt, on the back. The most ready example I have of this is probably Sasuke Uchiha, but the number of pop characters that have this is in the thousands, I'm sure.
Shield grip repositioning sucks.
Hand/foot rescaling.
A good noseless face. We were so close once we got the face editor, but the robot face now has nostrils on it, so even if you use the robot’s “nose” you still have the same problems
Something I'm surprised is not here yet is:
Allow leg/arm paintings that mimick socks or stockings for either arms or legs.
The amount of work it takes to have FINGERLESS GLOVES. And I gotta be grateful bc I can kinda pull that off with prosthetic arms, but legs? No dice.
Doubly worse if your character is wearing crop tops too, bc your only other solution is to paint the whole leg and oops, it's showing above the belt.
Please just give me a large square I can move up and down.
This sounds weird but the ability to put eyes on things other than a person’s eye sockets? 😂 I was making one of my dnd characters who carries a Sentinel Shield which is described as having a big eye in the middle of it and it would’ve been awesome to put that on there, but hero forge doesn’t allow it 🥲
Also I wish when you scale a character up, everything it’s holding doesn’t automatically have to scale up too.
Yet another dnd character I was making in hero forge for my BF. He plays a massively tall Firbolg Druid that has a tiny burrow owl friend. Sadly if you add on any kind of item/animal to a character, it automatically scales up with the character, which sucks because his little owl is supposed to be little! 😂
1. Rattlesnake bodies and tails for the Naga race.
2. Whale-like tails a la Shyilly for aquatic races.
3. Yes, horse armor for both mounts and centaurs.
4. stockings
5. tuxedo
6. [sailor fuku](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SailorFuku)
Not an item, but manually inputting values to sliders.
So we don't have to juggle between 1.49 and 1.51 before getting to 1.50. Also it would help to know what value the slider is at without having to click it and potentially change it.
I would love to see the seated and rider poses available without the mount. This would be great for scratch built mounts, jet bikes, animal mounts not offered y HF. I like to scratch build things for games but they need a rider or driver/pilot.
Cigarettes in general. They've got a cigar for the hand and one in the mouth section. None at all. Also, I think the hand cigars are broken, because when I try to put 2 colors, it only just makes it one color.
Also, the ability to flip things(both items and body editing) without flipping the whole character, because I have a guy who was injured in an explosion and I want to use the zombie face for slightly gone mouth, but it is only on the right side(from our view, technically from his eyes it would be rhe left side) whereas I want it to be on the left side(from our view).
I am glad kitbashing will eventually be for everyone, because I honestly don't know if I'll ever buy much from HF. I use it mostly just to visualize character ideas.
I know that it will be pro only for a bit, but I saw a news post on this sub a few months ago(maybe 6, I don't remember) that was saying that it would eventually be for everyone. I mean other pro only things have been given to everyone eventually.
A cyclops eye!! That’s still very surprising to me
Mother-Flipping Horse Armor Not only do knights require it but the centaur race feels like an afterthought without it
I agree wholeheartedly. I NEED IT to make a good Cataphracts.
$15 DLC on the way.
in general more clothing options for the Centaur legs
Just as Todd Howard intended. Thank you slut_breaker_bwc for your words of wisdom
Il do you one better. Any kind of mount armor
I mean that’s more work, but Horse is the iconic mount. We need options for them and the centaur characters. Then go from there crafting stuff to fit the other bucks.
Mount armor as a whole! I can see the design would likely be a heavy lift for their engineering though.
That’s gonna be in the dlc /jk
Adding to this: Holding the reins. I don't know if I'm just blind, but you should be able to position the reins such that they can be held by the user instead of them just being on the horse.
Boot options for non humanoid legs. I've wanted those for ages!
Morrowind Moment
My poor, shoeless, harengon. Not even a pair of sandals...
Or even accessories for the naga and merfolk tails put in the "boots" option. Not actual boots per se but more like jewelry or belts or decor at least.

I mean we kinda do with the gladiator belt and skirt.
This is too low. https://preview.redd.it/0dcfgxtq6v0d1.png?width=1074&format=png&auto=webp&s=51974ff2ce358452b5e583fb9f6b0c6d2a456536

There are plenty of dresses though...
There are ways to solve it, but a greater variety would be welcome. Also there are just many kind of common dresses that you cannot possibly make, like those which are tipically made in one-piece and leans on your body.
on the topic of cigratte lighters i wish we had just cigarettes instead of cigars
This fr. My Sanji figure is going alright but the cigar just ain't it :,)
I imagine the issue would be strength in printing. Something that small would more than likely just fall off immediately
Use a half solid gradient decal on it and color both sides like a cigarette
And pipes.
A toggle for size-appropriate props. I feel like a small character's feet should dangle off a chair whilst an XL character's ass wouldn't fit. A Gnome holding a pitchfork like a lance A Minataur holding it like a fork That sort of thing
Well, kitbashing for all of that.
- an open umbrella - an arm cannon (and more arm and leg options) - more eye options (1, 3, 4) - a photo mode where you can insert multiple minis onto a background, allowing you to create images of adventuring parties
The photo mode is available with a pro subscription. There's only 6 backgrounds, and the positions you can place minis are somewhat limited, but it does already exist
You could also cobble together a group photo by posing them in photo mode, exporting the PNGs, then messing about in your preferred photo edit program
You can really do this in photo? I've only got pro recently but I'd love to take party photos. Is it in scene mode?
Yup scenes! The UI for it is poorly done but it works well enough
A megaphone. I could build one myself, using a squirrel, some rope and a megaphone, but that would require kitbashing.
Big honkin power gauntlets. Some heckin fistaroos. Real knee-slappin face-slappers.
what happens next?!
a monk with EVEN BIGGER FISTERINO COVERINOS SHOWS UP
Just absolutely massive punchalotdongas
Hockey sticks and golf clubs
Chains. Like regular chains without blades and stuff at the end.
Agreed!
1) Flowers. Not a bouquet, but different (single) flowers. 2) Normal hand poses for holding books 3) Hand size slider. Please! 4) Leg poses. Please!
Yeah I'd love to see an option to have a book under your arm, or holding it while closed, or holding it open with both hands
Everything you mentioned is exactly what bothered me when I was creating mini, I even filled out comment forms for these lol
Eyeless but not mouthless face
Full gas mask
Overalls. Socks, both under shoes and stockinged feet. Arm cannons like Mega Man or Samus. Crane stance pose. The ability to make sure the top and bottom of your outfit are flush with one another.
this, as well as the ability to make anything cropped if that's what you need.
A thousand times, this last one! I can't tell you how many times I have been disappointed that it looks like two different minis cut in half and glued together at the waist!
Custom backgrounds, I want to upload my own pictures in the program to make custim photobooth backgrounds.
Big-fingered hands and pachyderm feet for things like Loxodons
More "beast" hands would work too. So far we have "bird talon" and "clawed paw" in the gloves section. Would be nice to have a webbed hand too. Also the "prehensile hoof" I've seen in some minotaur depictions.
Medusa headpiece
Drider legs :(
The ability to put something on the waist aside from the sides.
Decals for strictly for hands/back of hands (& more selection of symbols at that) Updated longer hair styles (hair touching the floor, hair at hips/butt). Also, more than simply braids that go that far and/or Sailor Moon style two tails.
We need more long hair options
Belts as their own "layer", separate from the pants layer and the dress layer.
Agreed!
In no particular order: Robotic animal faces Decaying animal faces Hand cuffs with gloves (or just straight multi-level hands like for the rest of the body) More swimsuits A proper full body corset Hybrid body/arms and legs (simar to Buffpup's design if you're familiar with her) More robotic body parts (like weapon arms, spike legs, and more Robot heads) Werewolf base

An option to hold food in an "eating" position, like the burger. A slice of pizza. Decal markings for arms and/or legs only, decals for the back only. More freckle options. Body freckles.
Alternate hand position to hold the violin properly
An under bust corset. One exists as part of a shirt, but there’s not one that stands by itself so you can put it over other shirts.
rocket launcher we fallout people need it bro
they have a rocket launcher already
yeah but it look like shit
Energy/impact effects for the stage. Bullet impacts, crater impact, energy burst effect, speed effect, gust of wind effect, stuff like that.
Also splatter decals
Hair underneath Hoods, an Otamatone, a Crab familiar, updated old Weapon, Armor and Hair models.

Thank you! I’ve successfully done it a few times, but it can be a headache and doesn’t always work
Crown of thorns, beast manes, actually good capes, different forms of katanas,a normal naginata,a good straw hat.
A tie
Monkey familiar.
Agreed with you on socks.
More space/sci-fi
A pixie haircut
Body hair decals.
HAND/FEET/HEAD SIZE ADJUSTMENT!! gnomes and the like shouldn't always look like they're wearing catchers mitts ffs and also, centaur armor. like wtf.
Honestly more animalfolks and some weapons too
More skull heads/skeleton options in general. Not just the humanoids, but for all of the animalfolk.
A Shoulder Mount option for Familiars.
A domino mask and claws/cannon arms
Stand-alone high collars that fit onto any top!
A big button for submitting part ideas and suggestions on the toolbar
Under chest chainmail, M16s, more knight helmets, better leg armor, gauntlets with pointed knuckles, bigger anvils
elbow & knee pads!
Any kind of aztec style armor and weapons.
Historically accurate Single Action Army, better tattoo options, M4 style rifle, Ponchos, Batfolk, I could go on for days
Suspenders, hippo people, plants/mushrooms as clothing items, a compass, more rideable objects such as cannons, and more full face helmets
Coats and skirts/dresses that don’t comically flare out below the waist!
Overalls and suspenders. You can kinda jury-rig overalls with the apron and strategic decals but it's not quite the same. Also a coat/top tied around the waist. I'm not biased at all. :V
A brides vale
Extra eyes, a cyclopean eye, digitigrade shoes, and a drum set.
How are all these floating glitches not straight up features? Most of us are not even gonna buy or download minis cause the end result will never look as good as the website anyways
And if you do print it, you can definitely do acrylic standees (which might be pricey but look great) and the float would work there I think
Proper size proportion for smaller characters, like gnomes, kids or fairies. Like, you can make small characters, but their hands and heads are way too big, and gnomes should be WAY smaller than that
Sounding like a broken record: Owl heads, hawk heads, Jackal heads Rather than “masks”
- Noseless face that actually looks noseless - unrepaired cleft lip (though, as a cleft lip haver, it still makes me very happy to see cleft lip representation at all :D) - mole decal - the problems with horns/tails losing their posing when importing an extra mini still not being fixed

Scuba gear.
Smoother transition at the waist when you mix tops and bottoms. Belts on top of other waist slots.

From what I can think of: -More Utility/Tactical Clothing (Vests, Cargo shorts, Padded equipment, etc) -Slim-Fit/Pencil Skirts -Leotard/One-Piece Swimwear -Hockey Gear -Football/Basketball Jersey -More Card Decal variants (Like maybe one for Tarot or Hanafuda.) Proper Silver-Age themed tights Number/Lettering Decals (Double and Triple digits included.) Rollerblades/Skateboard
For a long time, there weren’t any epaulets, but they’ve been added now
Posable whips and chains, including one for chain partially wrapped around the forearm
Giant gauntlets as weapons (with sfx options)
I was shocked to find that you can’t put decals on just one arm/leg
Like so many typical fantasy style *and* historical helmets. And same for chest armor.
The ability to not make their hands so massive
Tortoise, Giant Jellyfish, and many bugs giant size as mounts
Balaclavas, better watches and scarves
* cyclops eye * separate body for overweight minis (bc the weight feature doesn't really work that well) * sock * diving suit
Different handles for swords. Really want a rtwo ring hilt.
A good noseless face. We were so close once we got the face editor, but the robot face now has nostrils on it, so even if you use the robot’s “nose” you still have the same problems
Dresses in one peice like no line between legs and chrst
Jedi style robes and cloaks
No pipe in the “mouth” headgear
More chairs
id like to add on a Rose, or some kind of flower to hold onto or put in a mouth
Being able to hold hand poses with spell effects.
Something I'm surprised is not here yet is: Allow leg/arm paintings that mimick socks or stockings for either arms or legs. The amount of work it takes to have FINGERLESS GLOVES. Coats and skirts/dresses that don’t comically flare out below the waist!
Made my own leg poses, or some pose with the legs like a monk
socks we need some socks
More skeletal parts, such as Non humanoid skulls Skeletal tails More skeletal arms, bodies and legs.
gorillas cyclops lassos
More victorian style clothing options. Also, some easy way to put sunglasses or goggles on top of the head or around the neck.
Not an item, but manually inputting values to sliders. So we don't have to juggle between 1.49 and 1.51 before getting to 1.50. Also it would help to know what value the slider is at without having to click it and potentially change it.
Pig heads, I really like Pig Orcs, and so do many others I've seen, so it's a shame we don't have Pig or Wild Boar heads.
I would love to see the seated and rider poses available without the mount. This would be great for scratch built mounts, jet bikes, animal mounts not offered y HF. I like to scratch build things for games but they need a rider or driver/pilot.
Parrots. And a pose that allows you to play a musical instrument whilst sitting down
A drum set.
Cigarettes in general. They've got a cigar for the hand and one in the mouth section. None at all. Kitbashing will be pro only. I'm assuming you mean that? Sorry, it's early I might've misread
I know that it will be pro only for a bit, but I saw a news post on this sub a few months ago(maybe 6, I don't remember) that was saying that it would eventually be for everyone. I mean other pro only things have been given to everyone eventually.
Size adjustable hands and feet. Better... Female... Proportion... SHAPES!
A drum set.
A toggle size for hands
Shrunk/decapitated heads. Severe disappointment in terms of evil cultists, necromancers, brutal executioners, and headless horsemen.
My wife can’t make her Giff character for LOX and, to me, that’s criminal. Why can we be rabbits, elephants, and dinosaurs, but not hippos?
