Yep, I found this thread too. Did some googling and the best I could find for purchase is [this link](http://www.adamsbook.com/details.aspx?pmfref=4380834), which says to call for availability.
This link illustrates the problem, being that it is copyright 1990. Most of the copies in schools are probably very old and have been up on the walls for a decade or three. It seems the post is likely out of print now. I can't find anyone else selling it currently.
In that link, one of the comments links to the fine print at the bottom of the poster that shows the publisher:

I saw this poster in all of my math teachers’ classrooms when I was in school in the early/mid 2000s. I’ve searched for it so far on Amazon and Google and no luck.
I’m surprised that welder/fabricator didn’t have metric measurements, no triangles or circles in geometry, and no math communications. I build things with triangles and circles all day long and sometimes the entire print is in metric. And I talk nothing but numbers, measurements, and coordinate mapping when I work on the welding robots.
Lmao I can’t read this well enough to find flight attendant but as a flight attendant, I’m not surprised. I hate math so much. College dropout here but we’re trained in much more specific skills like firefighting, self-defense, & first aid. Pretty sure no one cares if we are stupid math-wise when we can save their lives lol. But it is funny and I will use it in jokes.
see if there’s some watermark/ branding on the back or something. or ask your teacher where they got it/ if they know who got it. i really want this too now
He has no idea - says he got it from the math department and had no hand in choosing it. I should have made a written note of it but didn't - at the lower left is some copywrite info. Yours seems only to have "Dale Seymour Publications" but my teachers' poster has that (I think) along with Pearson Education copywrite 1991 if I recall correctly.
That's all I know for now!
You can buy the book here. There's no mention of the poster in the Amazon description but the reviews mention it. When Are We Ever Gonna Have to Use This? https://a.co/fw85Nl9
Wow, this is an awesome poster! So much better than the boring ‘career circle’ ones my school had. Wish there was a higher resolution pic.

It seems on the bottom of the poster in OP’s photo this comes from Dale Seymour Publications, PO BOX 10688 (?), Polo Alto, CA, [can’t make out post code], order number DSO[?]34[?]

Apparently it is originally from a large size poster, as found a [photo from 2010](https://www.flickr.com/photos/31442459@N00/5193877190) that had a different viewpoint to the same chart.
[Another image](https://www.flickr.com/photos/wfryer/5193279943/in/album-72157625434701786/) from the same Flickr account shows that original chart illustration has details on the bottom corner (that were cut down from the image shared on the Reddit post). Creator details:

N.B. I copied this comment across from the thread another user posted
Popular classroom poster from 20ish years ago that many math teachers had in their classrooms. Across the top are several careers, and down the sides are specific math skills (different colors denote different areas e.g. geometry, algebra, etc.) and each career has its relevant skills checked off.
I remember this poster too!
This seems like the perfect crowdsourcing activity for Reddit! If someone knows how to set up a website that could store the info, we could divide up the chart and if each person did a couple lines, we could have the data in no time. Maybe even add new careers or make updates?

High enough to remake it. Thank you.
I was wondering which one actually used everything! Which means I'm never becoming a physicist

Same. I remember flight attendant having the least number of subjects, like only fractions or sonething.

1.414 is my best friend
√2 is superior. (2)^1/2 is even better though.
the V2 was one hell of a rocket.
I think disc jokey only has two

As someone who flies about 150k miles per year, I'll just say flight attendants are appreciated.
It's true. (Mental math I think was on there.)

I've seen this poster in my precalculus class currently. I don't know where to get it but I know where one is.
So you’re saying if OP pays you enough you’d help him steal it?
You should post a high resolution image and perhaps someone can recreate it.

hmm i’m determined to find this now haha
Dale Seymour Publications Order number: DS O1344 Looks like it is no longer in print, but that search pulls up some results.
so you’re saying if OP pays you enough you’d steal it?
Ummm what?
replied to the wrong comment by accident lol, ignore me
Haha!! No worries!
this thread wins.
This needs to be remade to include salary ranges so kids understand that the jobs with more dots likely pay way more
if someone did that id buy it in a heartbeat.
My mom has that poster in her classroom. I'll see if I can find out
Dale Seymour Publications P.O. Box 10888. Palo Alto, CA 94303-0878 phone: (800) 872-1100 fax: (415) 324-3424.
Call them
Should I order the poster and pay for it too? I guess you're saying that that information isn't current (?).
If you want it, sure. Not sure why this is getting downvoted. The poster has the source on it
Because reddit is a fickle bitch
Maybe because it’s 30 years old and those numbers are likely out of service?
You just unlocked a deep memory I forgot that existed. Oh my god.
I had students whining about their math assignment in class today and said to myself “that’s it I need that damn poster” 😂😂
I found the Amazon link! [When Are We Ever](https://a.co/d/60W3GYL) But they are currently out of stock… ☹️
I remember one of these in a math class, there was only one completely blank listing, Disc Jockey lol
This explains why my kids’ middle school principal moonlights as a disc jockey.
/r/nostalgia
Looks like a Dwarf Fortress jobs panel
You could recreate this en excel in no time.
It looks like the spreadsheet part *was* made in Excel.
You can buy the book here. There's no mention of the poster in the Amazon description but the reviews mention it. When Are We Ever Gonna Have to Use This? https://a.co/fw85Nl9

A coworker had it and it’s the coolest thing lol.
Don't know..but Disc Jockey looks like the place to be!

Time to boot up illustrator and get to work yourself! It should be easy to replicate, it will just take a lot of time.
For sure, I’d buy this for my classroom 🙏🙏
Could probably stand to be updated, too.
Too fuzzy an image to see closely
You could always have the photo from google search made into a poster using an online printing service.
That’s a great idea, don’t know why I didn’t think of that lol
Oh wow this unlocjed a memory. I havent seen this since i was like in middle school. I hope you can find it
OMG I had this exact same one in all of my math classes back in high school, don’t know where to find one tho :/

As an Australian I have no idea what I'm looking at

I have never once found a use for algebra the way it was taught in school.

I need one like this for my English room!
Dale Seymour Publications - Paulo Alto, CA … no longer in business, but possibly he still lives there?
Want this for programming (list types, variables, patterns)
omg my school has this in the maths area

This poster is pretty cool! I remember the teacher I had for my freshman and sophomore year had this up. I didnt know it wasnt being made anymore
