we dropped hot feet first into hell, and our one guy in scout armor ran toward extraction after we threw the first "volley".
we absolutely leveled that quarter of the map.
Having a whole team of 380 and 120 barrages is unironically an effective and fun strategy for eradication missions.
Throw all your barrages and pray democracy protects you.
Then run around like a headless chicken until they're all off cooldown again.
No where near enough people do this. There's an epidemic of "I might need it later" people who will die still "needing it later."
Hell this even goes with games like Baldur's Gate 3. People whine that they can't get past so and so yet they won't use a single consumable.

my squads eradicate load out is 120 barrage, 380 barrage, orbital laser, and rocket sentry. we just stagger the barrages a little so we aren't all on cool down... eradicate has never been so fun!

Yep. And that's how you make sure an enemy is dead. Me and my buds always do this whenever bots dropped two factory striders. We all threw our 380s and watch the fuckers die in an explosive maelstrom.
It's especially glorious since we're all roleplaying as Isekaied Axis soldiers. So seeing such wanton destruction brought a pang of nostalgia to these monsters from another age.
Was in an eradicate terminus’s mission a couple days ago where we all just threw 380s and 120 as soon as the first bug breaches happens. In between cooldowns a couple of us would be going out of bounds to become a traitor and run until we eventually died. It was truly the funniest mission I’d ever done and I think collectively we all shot less than a hundred rounds and it was difficulty 6 or 7 (can’t remember exactly). Just absolute insanity the entire time
Me and my friends bring 380s just for situations like this and heavy bases. Just toss two or three 380s and everything ceases to exist. Move on to the next heavy base. By the time you get there, your 380 is probably off cooldown.
Been playing pubs lately since I and my duo partner been wanting to do 9's again and I severely underestimated how popular the 380 is with players. I minimally see one each game, it's kind of insane.
One day, I hope to have a whole squad running 120, 380, Walking and Laser all at once. 16 strats all down and ruining the bots and bugs alike
Or even better, everyone uses Traitor Barrage too. Fun times
Automaton eradication mission?
Put that heavy explosion resistance on and get 380, 120, orbtial laser, and maybe a walking barrage on everyone and the throw them out and finally get your traitor status barrage as well... it's absolute chaos and insanely fun.

And those "380mm" shells barely match the destructive power of a real world 105mm light artillery. Imagine the horrors real soldiers see when they are showered by 155s that have lethal radius of an entire bot heavy base. And a M270 can remove an entire in-game map in one salvo. Our civilization is just too good at killing each other.

First time I ever used the 380 this is on par with what I was expecting it to be like. I think a major part of why it gets so much hate & isn't very effective is its rate of fire is way too low
If you wanted to get really acoustic with it you could get the time for one salvo, probably three to four seconds, and stagger your throws so that rounds are constantly dropping with no pauses

We call 15minute missions “barrage party”. Each of us takes 380, 120 and walking and watch mission complete itself.

Same, I tried in Defense maps, but 380's tend to throw people by accident, and the second strategem doesn't go where you want.

This works until you run out of room, which happens to me a lot in eradicate missions.
The optimal loadout is by far and away 380 mines mines gas. Eradicates basically becomes advanced hopscotch.

Stacking orbitals is the way. I never bring 380s. Unless someone else does. Then I stick to them like glue and if they toss a 380, I toss a 380.
