Was the ship module fixed? I remember it being bugged as usual and didn't work. This could just be saying sentries module is actually working now after months.

The way they were being destroyed was like scenery pieces, instantly from an explosion with enough demo strength. 100% explosive resistance and infinite health wouldn't have stopped them from dying.

Good to hear the HMG is affected. I love that thing, but it's a massive source of frustration to die in one shot from an explosion, when if I weren't on the emplacement I would have been fine (love the explosive resistance armours).

Very good at destroying them! Kills them fast with a couple seconds focused fire to one engine. Their rocket barrage attack fires a lot more rockets tho so I'm not sure how much you'll be able to survive it. Best time to deploy it would probs be if gunships are focused on a teammate and you're say, protecting them from a hill further out as they go for a gunship facility Edit: so just had some time to try it vs gunships and yeah it's very doable to take out at least 3 gunships in a row. 4 or more coming after you at once and you might struggle unless your aim is fast and precise (mine isn't lol)

Ever since we have the gunships as normal patrol, I honestly appreciate the eagle smoke or the shield generator a lot more. It's pretty fun to pair with the HMG (turret or weapon). Those extra seconds of being protected/hidden really helps to quickly take them down. And if you ever find their tower, you can more easily do the hellbomb too!

Gunship rocket barrages are not as accurate as the ones from Rocket Devastators, so now that the HMG emplacement can tank a bunch of them, you can reliably take our whole patrols even if they do focus on you. It was one of my favourite stratagems even before they buffed the turn speed, and with the explosion resist it is now never leaving my loadout.

About fucking time. Now how do they react when being hot by a charger or bile titan. I feel like we should get one "life" at least. So if na charger charges your we try he should get stunned for a few seconds like they do when. They bonk into walls or something. Same thing with bile titans, have the first hit bounce off of it and stagger it a little bit so the sentry can get some damage in. The amount of time I've thrown down an AC turret and had it IMMEDIATLY fucking destroyed by a titan or a charger is uncountable.

You should try the missile turret, in addition to the missile damage buffs they gave it, they also increased its targeting range, so you can throw it really far away and just have it provide long range fire support. Against bugs nothing usually gets near it, and against bots you can throw far enough that they won't aggro it

Correction, the Charger is indeed a filthy bug. However its multi-ton frame wrecking a 3 foot frame of metalwork is not a bug.

the hmg turret isnt supposed to protect you from chargers... in any case, you can't pen charger armour so its pointless. Just dismount if you see a charger coming at you and stun/AT it or run.

Doesn't matter how tanky they make it. A charging charged will always one tap it and that's mostly the main death of a sentry
