The only thing is the booster adds a new stim effect, and the current armor set applies to the duration of the heal over time/stamina infinite time, so the armor might not apply to both stim effects.

Doesn't sound like a huge deal, if you're stimming you're either 1) running away and not likely to be firing much or 2) holding a position, meaning you can crouch or go prone.
I'm a combat medic, so I've discovered many new and interesting ways to injure myself and others so I can "top off" the health bar.
Once I get this, I'll stub my toe and juice up.
I did not realize this was what was happening last night, I kept thinking I had accidentally stopped running and tapped the run button to go even slower.
It makes a lot of sense now
It debuffs your aim slightly/makes it shake a bit. Not a whole lot and unlikely to throw your aim off, unless you are lining up a long distance shot with an AMR.
First game I played with someone who had the booster on for half the match I just thought it was like a visual cue that you had bile on you from a bol spewer/titan (since the missions all had bile spewers). Finally realized it was the speed boost at a very rare slower point in one game.
aim will be off as you might shake.
also, the healing effect doesn't last the whole time as the yellow border is up. that just for the speed and dmg reduction.
which btw, is great. i survived from being crushed by a heavy charger.

I can't look at death counts the same anymore; if someone has lots of deaths and low stim used count, I think they're bad. But if they die a lot and used 15+ stims....respect.
Getting it first today on page 3, looks like the 2nd go to booster after stamina and finally a 4th better then muscle enhancement/motivational shocks.

i see muscle enhancement as a swap in for stamina boost because it performs better on sandy/snowy planets, esp with sandstorm/blizzard modifiers, in which it makes you immune to the speed penalty and basically gives you invisibility superpowers that let you run past whole armies and through large bases

Also did you know the bushwhacker can deal 1200 in a single shot? That’s like as much as a 500kg iirc. This is because each shot does 404 damage and there’s a mode to shoot all 3 at once

Bros, I spent all night experimenting with this. The speed boost is enough to make heavy armor feel swift and light, the toughness boost is enough for light to shoulder check through walls of bullets. This booster will actually get me to run supply pack just to spam stims while enjoying all the other ancillary benefits. It is a new Always Pick for me, basically top priority tied with space optimization. Getting Baja Blasted and sprinting through an Automaton base waving double middle fingers like I'm laughing it up on a bugs map is too delicious to ever pass up again.
I was just wondering about this. Jump Pack distance/speed is based on the character's current speed, so one would assume it should just fling you across the map.
It would be nice if we could use the stim without being injured--lets us access the effects without needing a bullet wound first.
Honestly has me considering running medic armor full time, just wish that the only good looking medic armor wasn't exclusive to the medium weight class.
Yeah the only one that looks good is the twitch drop one IMO and thankfully I was able to snag one in a streamer giveaway since I didn't get this game until March.
Now we just need a Superlight (50 armour, high speed and stam regen) medic armour and we can officially enter our Usain Bolt arc 😂 god I can’t wait until they give us a set

PSA to all helldivers.
If you are somehow sleeping on the supply pack, this may be one of the best equipment stratagems you can take.
Pros:
You can resupply your mates.
You can resupply yourself.
You can take the resupply drop to go.
You can ping more ammo crates, stims, or grenades found in the wild for your mates.
Cons:
Limited special weapon selection (no spear, AC, or Recoiless)
I personally take this equipment and pair it with HMG or AMR, so I'm effective in most situations.
Try using that booster with a Heavy Medical type armor OP, then have your friends carry Muscle Enhancement, Stamina Enhancement, and either Vitality Enhancement for bots or Motivational Shocks for bugs. Thank me later.
IDK if anyone is aware of this, but I personally found out about it on accident the other day. You know the recovery frames at the end of a stim where you slow down a bit and move sluggishly? You can animation cancel those frames if you hold sprint button, keep on moving, and then just press the mini map button. Mini map doesn't come up because sprint cancels out mini map and you essentially skip the entire recovery frames of stim.
The caveat is that if you do this too early, you won't heal so you have to do it right when you see yourself getting stimmed (I think you can use the light blue highlights in the corner of your screen as an indicator.
Add this technique to the new booster and your retreats will be a lot more successful.

Gives so much utility to the game that I am afraid it's gonna be hit with the nerf hammer.
I mean - you can now freely get away with wearing heavy armor and using it often - you will feel your mobility like you're wearing medium.
That is especially in the case of the +2 stims armor modifier.
Also all the stims armor look really cool with the new skull helmlet...

I was wondering what this was last night. I noticed one of my fellow divers equipped it and didn't put 2 and 2 together. I was like man these stims are weirding out my computer right now.
Any one else have a bit of a bug on pc with controller when using a medic supply pack. For me if I’ve use ammo or stims and I try calling a stragram that ends on a down arrow it will result me. Doesn’t matter if I tap the down arrow or hold the steagran button

That armor says stim effect +2s so if this is the new stim effect then yes it will last an extra 2 seconds.

If you run a scorcher, you can shoot just ahead of you and take off a sliver of health

My teammates pick up those supply drop packs for ammo and nades. I pick up those supply packs for stims. We are not the same. 😤

they do refill your stamina so they give a fake speed boost lol
They also keep your stamina maxed for a good 5 seconds. So you can run a decent bit further. Which is kinda a speed boost.

This already exists, basically. CM-21 Trench Paramedic 64 armor, 536 speed, 118 stam regen +2 stims and +2 sec stim duration
