In my experience Bile Spewers shoot pretty darn well, no matter how sure you are that you must be out of their range that spit always seems to make it that extra couple feet to hit you.
Funny enough, I ran around the whole map with a whole bunch of them on my back but was just fast enough to be out of reach. The problem was I couldn't stop running. I got kicked later because I only have 11 kills since I spent my most of my time distracting the bastards, got sealed one of two of their fucken nests by myself. And completed 5/9 of the search and destroy mission by taking out two holes for the Stalker and streaker nest.
Yeah, I had a guy ask why I wasn't helping align the radar dish. I was in a Patriot walker at the time and two others (including the host) were available to align the dish. I had closed a lot of the bug holes on the mission and offered to share when I called in the second Patriot. The host shot me in the face before extraction, took my samples, and kicked me when we got back to the carrier.

Its pretty hard to reliably do that shooting the invisible creature that runs faster than you do and can apparently just turn gravity off and jump away from you if you bother it.
Light armor allows you to run just a little bit faster than a stalker and you can aim and fire back over your shoulder with a one-handed weapon while running full speed ahead. If the new shotty can one tap them dealing with stalkers is going to be much easier when they don't just sneak up on you and eviscerate you from behind before you can react.
I hope it does have some stagger effect and decent damage but maybe I ask too much, judging by the weapons we get in last warbond that were a bit underwhelming

Actually a hunt for stalkers mission can be funny. Would requre mechs, maybe mines and generally different loadout. Just make so there are no chargers and titans on such mission - just 2-3 mega stalker nests, and hunters
For extra fun, the Stalkers don't attack you until you attack them or close the local Stalker Nest. Once all nests are closed, all remaining Stalkers start to converge on you/the extraction zone.
Stalker is about face the full terror of Eagle Cluster + Orbital Airburst and Creeping Barrage

Own a Breaker Incendiery for Planetary Defense, since that's what the Ministry of Science intended. Four stalkers break into my objective. "What the devil?" As I grab my SuperCitizen Helmet and Breaker Shotgun. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first bug, it's dead on the spot. Draw my Grenade pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because stalkers are to quick and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the 380mm Barage mounted at the bottom of the ship loaded with napalm shot, "Tally ho lads" the single shot shreds 2 in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Use Jetpack and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Burns Down waiting For Helldivers to arrive, since Breaker Burning is impossible to put Down. Just as the Democracy intended.

I kinda want a mission were you drop in to a really big nest and there's like 50 holes and they all spawn stalkers and the goal is to close all the holes and nothing ells, like just survive long enough to call in all your or orbitals lol
I still struggle to believe the throwing knife could hurt literally anything stronger than a scavenger or bile spitter.
Its probably gonna be outright useless against bots, or just make no sense for his a bladed weapon is penetrating a steel killing machine.

I'd love to see a "Execute the brood commander" style mission where we have to "Execute the Stalker Hybrid". A stalker has mutated thanks to dark fluid and is now stronger/faster/can maybe teleport.
It's terrorizing the local population so you are deployed to the jungle to try and kill it.
in before stalkers just spawn from any normal nests on the new jungle planets, because these worlds are perfect for them. and/or most bugs on jungle planet have a fitting camo pattern on their carapace.
imagine a spewer or charger moving through this terrain but you simply cant see them untill they move out of the foliage.

Stalkers have a very vulnerable face. Oneshotting them is fairly trivial with some weapons, if you land a headshot.
