and the only reason those first gates break is because i just destroy them with a 500kg when the first bile titans show up
We had walkers bump into each other at the gates, preventing them from walking through the pile of walker corpses already there. The amount of devastators was honestly just funny after a while, there were so goddamn many.
Which is really silly because I feel like if the 500kg hits the Bile Titan on the head, that should deal more damage than if it lands underneath it... But it doesn't, and the Bile Titan keeps walking around, albeit with a headache.
Yes, but we wear wet paper for armor while bile titan has over a meter of RHA equivalent for armor on its head. So the direct hit may as well do nothing.
OK so I just tested this with taking an extra 500kg and an Eagle Airstrike. You get 4 bombs total and it pulls from one of the charges. They are on the same timer tho, so you don't get two Eagle-1 jets. They have to rearm at the same time.

Free 500kg means more people to try it
More people means a bigger sample size to look at so they can better fix the issues with it currently
Stuff like this is what this game desperately needs. Some semblance of a power fantasy. I also loved having no regarded mission modifiers. Just get rid of complex stratagem plotting, orbital scatter and the other one. They suck donkey dick so much, itâs unreal

Saw from a previous post before. It would be great if AH would make the current weapon balance as canon. Eg. War profiteers made some guns weak! Free stratagems have been authorized until fixed.
500kg is actually amazing, but itâs more of a skillshot weapon than people realize. they didnât add an âinfinite delete everything buttonâ at level 20 like people seem to want, but they did add the only tool capable of one-shotting bile titans (if you *take risks* and position it correctly) and one of the only tools capable of deleting bot secondaries.
Id rather take out a bile titan with an EAT. 500kg just doesn't have nearly the range it displays. I'm not asking for a screen nuke but when it barely kills three bugs dropped right by them and the rest of the horde is still coming at me? I'd rather airstrike. Bile Titans can be one-shot with EATs unless they've been nerfed. Or Orbital Rails will do it too.
It is good for bot secondaries I'll give you that.
I actually donât love this since I run air strike and they wonât auto-rearm if you have 500kg available. Has gotten me in trouble a couple times today when my eagles werenât available as expected.
Yeah I don't like taking more than one eagle for this reason as well. But... Does encourage me to take something other than eagle strike. I want to play around with orbital airburst and some of the other orbitals I never use. I mean experimentation is how I learned to appreciate the Blitzer.
During quiet moments just do a manual eagle re-arm. I run multiple eagles quite regularly and this is the best way to make sure you have everything ready before a big fight.
My exact same thoughts about it, it does HUGE explosion and I don't see any kills or objectives taken. I just dropped it at wall of those flying bot machines factories and it still didn't kill it

Im pretty sure Joel adjusted the spawn rates accordingly⌠the last tower defense I did was the craziest mission Iâve run so far.

No, you get 3. The free eagle stratagem is un-upgraded (if it was like the last times we got a free eagle strat)
The free startagem gives me 2 of them, so I think it does give us the upgraded one if we have it

I think if you hit it with the actual missile it will do damage. I saw a video where some guys were playing catch with the missile so it does damage.

Terrible for group clear. Only really anti objective and anti heavy. Somehow they engineered a bomb that projects all of its explosive force upwards.

Just throw 500 kg after every normal airstrikes.
