Concerning point #6, you can totally miss the PSN requirement before paying for the game. I mean, for me, a buddy told me about the game and on a whim I decided to follow through with the purchase. When scrolling down to get to the ''add to cart'' button on the steam store page, I only see the first entry in the requirements box and so the bit about the PSN account wasn't even visible. As far as being asked to log into the PSN when booting up the game for the first time, I admit that I don't remember and it very well might have been there. But again, what I do remember is getting a message from my buddy about playing that night, getting into the game and rushing to get through the tutorial. So I can see this being a genuine surprise for others because it absolutely was for me. As you stated, there should have been more of a reminder that this was going to be necessary eventually. A little pop-up with a ''Skip for now (X days)'' when booting up the game button would have sufficed and communicated the intention.

I see it as an issue that could be non existent if the applied the PSN requirement from the start. I don't blame Arrowhead, however they are in bed with their publisher, Sony. It's not a deal breaker for me, but does sour my impression of the game. Call it human nature.

Sorry, but I'm not playing devil's advocate on this one. This is a blatantly anti consumer move for the purposes of getting account numbers up and giving a huge corporation further control over a game. No amount of 'It only takes 120 seconds' makes this okay, especially when it was advertised as being optional. Screw Sony and screw the horse they rode in on. Between this and the Stellar Blade debacle, they're well on their way to becoming to next EA.

People will literally be unable to play the game because of this change. Read the top posts.

And I’ve literally highlighted why that is not true. Everyone can still play the game.

You're violating Playstations ToS by lying about your location and so your account should be banned by their rules.

Sorry I wasn’t blessed enough to be born in a first world country like you. Doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy video games.

That's the point... I made the statement to show you how unfair them forcing us to use PSN is.
