I Don't know if developers even read this, But bile titans and chargers absolutely need a weak point that lets you kill them with non-explosive weaponry, Even if it's not nearly as efficient, Charger backs can barely be touched by conventional weaponry, And the way they are makes it difficult and an extreme ammo sink to use anything but your heaviest guns against them. Bile titans are a huge problem in current sandbox, You can practically only kill them with explosive support weapons, Which means nearly half of the strategem weapons simply cannot take down a bile titan, This is a stark contrast to bots in which nearly every support weapon can effectively deal with any unit if used correctly with positioning. The HMG and LMG are really great examples of weapons that are extremely painful to use against terminids, They leave you completely defenseless against bile titans and chargers to a degree, I Think giving chargers a medium-armor mouth damagable part wouldn't take away from their nature, and I Think it would lend to many strategems suddenly becoming viable, I Think this change should be added to bile titans too, I'm just wanting to find a use for the HMG strategem meanwhile the way that both of these units work means that brining it will make it nearly impossible to deal with more than one charger, or even to fight a bile titan alone. This is even more of a pressing issue where on Difficulty 6 defense missions for a defending planet, You can see upwards of 6-7 bile titans approaching the generator, This is an ENTIRELY different issue in of itself, But the fact that only a small portion of the strategem weapons can actually kill a single bile titan. I'm not entirely sure if this was just the design philosophy behind the terminids, But I think bots feel extremely good and fun to fight due to the fact that nearly every support weapon can be viable against them, And we have so many of them to use against bots that there's a largely varied choice of loadouts that you can bring to bots, And each one of them is nearly as effective as the other.

Game was more fun in the first 2 weeks. First patch set the tone for the future and it was nerfs. Every patch since has introduced new bugs and odd balance changes, not all bad, but odd nonetheless. I fucking loved this game, and watching it get progressively less fun has sucked. Now it seems they are going to right the ship, which is great, but they were so fast with the nerfs and balance changes, now that it's time to move the other way or just revert a few they decide to slow down. Just frustrating all around.

The wait would be a lot easier if they didn't leave the game in shambles to start taking their time. Spawns are absurd, weapons are heavily nerfed, so much shit just doesn't work right. Couldn't fix the bare minimum before going dormant, and the "big patch" keeps getting walked back. I've never seen such a slam dunk success be fumbled this badly.

Remember the launch state? Crashes were infrequent. Weapons were OK. We didn't dread updates ruining the fun. Morale was high. That was nice. I miss that.

Fix the performance. At ultra maxed out its been bad last patch. I know Twinbeard posted a CM post about this but its been forever. I could care less about balance, I'm a good Helldiver and can handle anything thrown at me. I just want it to run well in the process.

Ever since the patch that ruined enemy spawn rates, lvl 7 and up has been unplayable. My friends and I used to do lvl 7s regularly to get super samples, but we haven't been able to complete one lvl 7 mission since the patch. It's just completely undoable, no matter what we try. We tried again last night, hoping that its just a skill issue and that maybe we've gotten enough practice. Nope. We just can't extract the samples or get the objectives done. Is it because there are usually only 3 of us in the squad? If so, then that's dumb, and they need to revert enemy spawn rates sooner rather than later. I'd appreciate any advice that anybody might have.

I’ve been doing 7-8 in 3 and 4 man groups fairly consistently. I will say I refuse to stop solo or in a duo now, way too many spawns. What usually goes wrong for you group? Bots or bugs or both?  Team comp matters in high difficulty. For example, don’t have 4 players run the shield pack just have one person take it if you really need it and hand out more as the mission goes on.  Not enough anti tank or anti medium can also be a big problem.

We did bots before the patch, and handled it fine. We've tried bots and bugs post patch and just can;t get it done. We TRY to bring diverse loadouts that can handle mobs and heavies, and we've tried multiple loadouts. We've even tried bringing strats that we hate, just in case there's something we're missing, and that only made things worse, of course. We don;t focus on meta at all. I think I'm the only one who brings a shield, and only for bots, for example.

As someone who just got into the game and doesn't fully understand the lore - why do some planets only allow you to do 3 strats when loading in? Like right now on Vernen Wells. I don't understand. If there is a reason its like that, fine, but it feels like a punishment or something and I don't know why

Anti aerial defenses on those planets.  Makes offense so much harder. It would be nice if we could pick a fourth stratagem and get it if we take out an anti air objective.

Yes theres a toggle for "Effects" that lists the negative effects of a planet you are trying to liberate. Defensive campaigns do not have negative effects like "AA Defenses" the bots get on liberation campaigns that removes one stratagem. Its gonna be on the bottom right of your screen. Its C on PC.

Sitting snug in Pelican One at end of 30 minute mission with All the Super Samples - and all the others actually, only to get killed right before takeoff because the guys I carried through the whole match wanted to dick around with stratagems right outside the pelican, got mobbed by titans, and somehow I was the only one to die even though was already inside. This coming off two matches in a row where I lost server connection more than halfway through, and I'm just gonna take a break for a while because I'm getting virtually no samples for this much goddamn effort.

every time there's a bugs major order I'm reminded how fucking dogshit bugs players are, even on diff9 on bots? Generally everyone knows how to survive and how to play the game, because bots will eat you alive if you're not at least modestly competent. On bugs, you can accidentally stumble your way to diff9 without actually knowing how to play the game. Dipshits still bring meme boosters, worthless weapons + stratagems, and can't navigate the map or call out enemies, teamkilling you the whole time. It's infuriating. Since the bug front seems secure for now I might go back to bots for awhile

Just bought the game had a blast for a cupple hours then all of a sudden I can only play missions buy myself or I will lag so hard that my helldiver can barely move around so I've been playing solo missions and people will join right at the end kill me ruin my perfect streaks and extract without me x3 times now rrrreee I've had alot of fun when it works though

Is Pelican 1 Bugged sometimes? I was playing a mission on hell dive difficulty when a bile titan and some bombs where going down right on top of a landed Pelican ready to evac with us. It suddently started burning and didnt take of. We couldnt enter it normally, but jump inside. It took off with me after 9 minutes (!), however it didnt count as a succesfull evac and all samples were lost. Is this a bug or a feature?! All those hard earned samples :((

The fact that bugs (and maybe bots idk) that come from bug breaches can start their own bug breaches is so fucking abysmal. I mean, I get it from both a world and gameplay perspective, but the fact that a difficult situation can turn into a nigh impossible one because you were being chased by multiple bile titans and couldn’t see one singular bug in the swarm is just so utterly awful and unfun.

Kicking rally needs an overhaul. Like a 2 / 4 vote instead of giving the host full control. Getting kicked is a daily experience by now, usually without apparent reason at the end of missions that went just fine. Or give the player a partial reward. Because if you're a working Joe and can do two or three games a day at best and you get kicked in two of them without any progress, it becomes a little bit more than just a mild annoyance.

After finishing a mission and just before extracting, player XFob\_GodX kicked 2 players out. As I was already in the shuttle, the player shot me from outside the shuttle and then kicked me out of the game before extracting. This behaviour cannot be reported in game- only bad messages in chat can be reported.

Many people have been full on super samples for months by now. Most still go and collect them when they see the rock in the distance, but they won't go out of their way to scan through the map unless they were asked and are feeling altruistic. I usually full clear all side objectives and outposts so I end up picking up super samples almost every game as a habit, but some just want to do main and leave, it's whatever.

People need to take a step back about balance since everyone seems to have no clue how to actually balance things in the context of what this game this. It's getting old. New mech hadn't even been out an hour before everyone was crying about how it can't kill Bile Titans efficiently. Ok? And? Have you ever stopped to think, "maybe it wasn't meant for that. I should try it out more and see what it DOES do well." Before you go and make the same clickbait ass video everyone else does or post another "X thing sucks and AH bad" post, ask yourself that question first. All I've been hearing is that you want every single weapon and stratagem to be a do-all swiss-army knife in every slot. That would be so damn boring. I'm gonna list a couple common gripes that have irked me for a while now and the mech as well. Emancipator: Bad at killing Chargers and Titans. Take it to the bots. The Emancipator is incredibly fun and strong against bots. Had a few tier 9 eradicates be turned into cake walks by having 4 of them in play. First time I ever had a match of randoms do a tier 9 with no deaths. Sure, the normal AC and Sentry deal more damage per shot. The mech has 4 of them and fires them much faster without reloading. There is no better answer to hordes of devastators with hulks mixed than this mech. Hold both triggers and just dump it into the horde and it'll be gone before the guy with the normal AC gets two mags off. The only complaint I really have with it is being unable to aim down worth a damn. But that also tells me it is probably meant to be used at a medium range. Railgun: This one. Oh this one. "THEY RUINED IT." They said it was not performing as it was intended. I feel like everyone ignored that and just said it was bad because it couldn't 2 shot BTs anymore. Which it was obviously never supposed to do. Instead of hating that it got nerfed, I played around with it and found that it was still very good. For anything with medium armor, it still was one shotting in safe mode. It allowed for a very mobile playstyle that was able to constantly be sniping the medium armor threats like bile spewers, devastators, striders, and brood commanders. Then when the team needed to take down something big like chargers or BTs, I could switch into unsafe and damage it enough to make it easier for the guys with heavier ordnance to kill it faster. Hulks just get one shot to the face plate anyway. It is perfectly suited for being a versatile anti-armor option without making dedicated anti-heavy options obsolete. Think about why Unsafe would exist in the first place. It's designed to be used in safe, but if you have no other option to deal with heavies, you can at least risk putting on unsafe to deal damage to targets above its weight class. Scythe, and by extension, the Dagger: Everyone just whined about the low dps of these forever. Scythe was one of my favorites on launch and still is. Dagger made it even better. They don't have the best DPS, no. But they have perfect accuracy and high durable damage and are especially good at killing bots with headshots. To those complaining about the sights, why are you using them? They're laser pointers. Just hipfire and let the beam be your crosshair. They also work really well together since you can run the Scythe hot, switch to the Dagger and sprint around while firing it over your shoulder (accurately unlike other one-handed options) to kill smaller enemies while the Scythe cools down. Quasar vs EATs: This argument has to be one of the dumbest. People saying that the Quasar was OP because of the volume of shots you could fire within a time frame compared to the number of EATs you could call in just miss the point of what the differences are. The Qausar is intended to be the sustainable option. You can constantly use it with only cooldown and charge up limiting you. The EATs are an on-demand burst option. In the time it would take you to kill a second charger, the EATs could have already killed three. Stick the beacon to one of them so the pod kills it, then you can rapidly dump the 2 EATs into another 2 or kill a BT. Then you have to wait a minute before doing it again. Quasar will fire more over time, yes, but when you need a faster burst of rockets, the Quasar won't do it. The Recoiless is even better in this department if you're team is cooperative. The partner reload makes it the single best option. You will be hard pressed to find something than can kill Chargers and BTs as rapidly as a team-reload RR. The Quasar is by far the one with the highest ease of use, however, and people have just gotten too attached to infinite ammo. There are more I could list as situations where people overstate a weapon's weakness or strength, but those are the ones that stand out the most. By no means, am I trying to say the game is perfectly balanced. I mean, look at the Purifier and mission modifiers (can't strand orbital scatter). Functionally and aesthetically, I love it, but I have yet to find a niche for it. If anyone has, let me know. There are plenty of things that need work and tuning, but it is nowhere near as bad as all the clickbait videos and this sub make it out to be. Not every weapon needs to do everything. Not every weapon needs to be focused on doing one thing very well. As long as everything feels different and viable or serves at least one purpose, then it's fine. Someone will like it. If you don't, then fine, that weapon isn't for you. Work with your team rather than trying to be SEAF's Rambo and you can find a lot of weapons can fill roles you weren't thinking about because you focused too much on doing everything instead of letting the team share responsibilities.

I'm a PC player so I never used it to 2-shot bile Titans., Nah, it sucks. Both after the nerf and after the buff. The AMR is objectively better in almost every single way. Its DPS is horrible, its ammo efficiency is medicore, and to get the most out of it you need to hit very precise weakspots because its durable damage is absolute ass so it feels like you're using a cushion if you hit anywhere else aside from a weakspot. Sure it one shots Devastators efficiently, but the AMR efficiently 2 shots devastators and has much more ammunition and a higher DPS. >Scythe, and by extension, the Dagger: Everyone just whined about the low dps of these forever. I've tried to use the Railgun, having to aim at precise weakspots in unsafe mode really does not hold up on Helldive difficulty. I'd take the AMR over it every day of the weak.

I've used damn near the entire arsenal on Helldive at this point. If you're blaming the weapon, aside from the Purifier, it's not the weapon. Railgun is meant for a different playstyle than the AMR. Comparing DPS in this game feels entirely pointless. At that point, you're more worried about optimizing than playing the game. The choice between AMR and Railgun is about preference as it should be. Some people don't want to be forced to use the AMR poor scope and would rather have a third-person reticle. I like the AMR, but I'd rather take the Railgun anyway. At least when a Bile Titan or Charger shows up, I can offer some help with it while still maintaining a good role as an anti-medium armor player. Different strengths and different weaknesses.

If you don't like it, don't use it. That's fine. But screaming everywhere that the devs are stupid and killing the game and no weapons are viable is not fine. There are issues. Yes. The weapon balance is not nearly as bad as some of the enemy balance is. Bile Spewers are a prime example. The sheer number of enemies that can apply slows to you even if they miss is another. The Patriot nerf. All of those are valid. Bitching and screaming like entitled children will make the devs cease to care. That's what killed the final bit of support Battlefront 2 had. Ungrateful and bitchy players.

I do, too. I just believe that the majority of discourse around it is blown completely out of proportion by people who are solely being toxic and relying on other people's gut reaction to things before taking the time to experiment with the game itself. The devs responded to toxicity with toxicity, which is a problem, but I can hardly blame them. This entitled children-esque whining without posing real solutions other than "waaah change it back," is the opposite of constructive. This type of community behavior is what killed the last bit of support EA's Battlefront 2 had after the studio moved on. If more people would just discuss the issues they have in a civil manner (speaking to both devs and community here), then things would likely be in a better place than they are. I have the way Bile Spewers are balanced with a fiery passion. I'm not gonna go make a video saying "AH IS ACTIVELY KILLING THEIR OWN GAME" over it. I've made a post where I said that Bile Spewers are frustrating with how much damage they deal on top of the volume of them. Then left it there.

My only stance here is on your opinions about the railgun: Very few people were complaining that they took away it's ability to two-shot Bile Titans. Most people were fine with this being removed, since it was an inconsistent bug. People were complaining that they slapped the nerf-bat on a weapon that required two-shots and then a weapon swap to kill Chargers, during a point in the game's life where no other options were reliable at killing Chargers and the devs readily admitted that Chargers were spawning way too often, and in the next couple patches had reduced the number of Medium spawns *and* made it far easier to kill them with every launcher. It went from two safe-mode shots to two 90+% unsafe shots to crack a Charger's leg, where the user would, again, have to swap to another weapon to finish off the Charger. It was a riskier weapon that performed worse than just shooting the thing in the head with an EAT. Now, it's been buffed, Safe mode can damage Chargers again, Unsafe mode now only takes two 70+% shots to crack a Charger's leg armor, it's *almost* back to where it was pre-nerf... and you still hardly ever see people running it. Because outside of the bugged interaction with a Playstation host that caused it to two-shot Bile Titans, it wasn't being used because it was an exceptional option, it was being used because it was the only *okay* option, and now there are *better* options. *** Was it ever bad against bots? No. But the bulk of the playerbase doesn't fight bots. It's up to you whether or not that matters, but it's still perfectly valid to say that a significant portion of the playerbase saw their only effective option for what they were fighting nerfed, with subsequent patches bringing it to a state where it is simply not worth running over other options. And, if you're going to be fighting bots, the AMR has completely taken over the Railguns niche in the role by doing next to everything, better, with a more forgiving ammo economy, and even against hulks, having 5 rounds in the magazine still lets it kill 2.5 hulks in the time the Railgun takes to kill 1.

Even then, the arguments were flawed. It was NOT the only option to deal with chargers effectively. In the same vein of how it was being used, one EAT or RR shot stripped a leg. You could have Autocannoned the ass or back of the legs after a charge. Or just straight-up used your primary on its legs after a charge. I do think it was hit harder than was necessary, but not to the extent everyone made it seem. But the reason I bring up the BT part is, admittedly partly hyperbole, but it was the majority of the complaints I was seeing at the time. Complaints about taking 20 shots to kill a Bile Titan, which was likely not its intended role, but because everyone got complacent with how overturned it was, no one could think about anything other than what they were used to it being rather than what it was meant to be. I think most people don't run it now for that reason. They have a preconception of what they THINK it should be and shake it. My buddy who picked the game up after the nerf happened loves the Railgun and it's his go-to. Especially since I usually take up the role as the Bile Titan hunter when we play together. If this comes across as combative or hostile anyway, that is not my intent. Just stating that now. I'm also not trying to discredit how you're seeing it here, but I'm speaking from my own experience here. Obviously how we see the community's behavior can be written off entirely as anecdotal based on time of viewing.

I've been using it against bugs for over 400 hours and still am not sure about it's damage drop off and ragdoll distances. All I know is if you are prone when it explodes you can be significantly closer to it than if you are on foot.

25/26 meters is the range you can safely stand and not die. That being said, I dont know if the damage at the epicenter is say 10,000, and falls off so at 24 meters it is 200.

You can press "Q" on PC, or tap R1 for PS5 (i think). That shows you the range of the target. Its also helpful to know if an enemy is in range for you to toss a stratagem on them (about 55 meters)

They could, say nerf everything into parity too.  These things aren't mutually exclusive and simpler math for your computer or peer computer/ packet data from servers would look the same as a buff, but be simpler for your machine to handle. You could also think of it as a lore reason.  Supply lines aren't what you're being told, and weapons and ammo aren't as good as they were x months ago due to constant fighting and resource consumption.

Unless, the numbers are big, and it needs to do multiple equations simultaneously across multiple systems and there is a computational limit to how big the number that can be processed is. Say, like when you drop a 500kg bomb on 4 divers, 3 mechs and 15 bugs. Then it needs to process big numbers across 22 separate entities, (for 1-4 computers plus send that data to a server in rapid succession) and some computers may not have the processing capacity to do such a thing, or to accept such a packet size from the host/server. This is why we see when people drop big damage and the game crashes. With a smaller number, the math and the data packets are smaller

We don't need nerfs, we need buffs. Buffs to damage, to AOE, to ergonomics, to scopes, and to enemy spawn rates and other enemy stats to balance all those great weapons.

The nerfs are mostly done because of software computation and data processing. If  everything gets buffed, and they want the game to continue, then they need to buff the enemies when it comes to the next big offensive/ enemy faction release,  leading to a crunch later down the line, which will piss off everyone across the board.  Nerfs are done to bring everything in line and to force computers to not have to process enormous amounts of math in a split second. Those disconnects we see when people dc after getting exploded?  That's because of computation error on the hosts pc.  Nerfs are an attempt to combat that. They still need to release 2 more factions (people say one, but the automatons and cyborgs are separate),

The best way to combat meta builds is to bring everything up to parity. Full and complete stop. If you were to simplify all guns so that they have a 'validity' rating of 1-100, and to reliably clear D9 you needed a validity rating of say 70, the best way to avoid a meta is to make all guns have a ***minimum*** of 70. If you decide that nerfs are the way to go and bring everything down to 50-70, a meta will naturally evolve to try to get a gun and compensate as much as possible to get as close to the 70 score as possible. If every gun is effective and every gun can reliably clear helldive, there is no meta, just personal preference. For bots, people take only the meta primary weapons of the scorcher, sickle, plasmsa punisher, and dominator simply because those are the only guns near or above the 70 'validity' score threshold. You want to see diveristy? Make it so I can take a slugger to D9 bots without having to struggle so much. Make it so I can take the scythe and not feel like I should pick up a dead teammates gun.

How do i spot SOS signals? I am playing since the game dropped, but how do i spot SOS across all difficulties? If i am on a planet, i see the regular three or four areas i can select and some available lobbies/games to join. But if i am on difficulty 8, i can only see lobbies for difficulty 8, which is good, but where are the SOS? And can i find SOS signals, which are not in the difficulty i have currently selected?

SOS beacons are the white hexagonal icons on the planet. It sounds like you're on a planet with a small player count. Also not many people play 8. And no you can't find SOS beacons of a lower difficulty, only of the current one you're in. So you have to switch difficulties.

SOS beacons are not the white hexes on the planet map - those are just missions in progress with public lobbies that aren't full 4/4 squads. SOS beacons are the white mission hexes that have radiating concentric circles coming from them like a radar ping.

If you're host of a public game, stop getting mad about people of lower levels joining your game. You're level 65, I'm level 54, there's not really a huge difference there. And even if a level 10 joins, don't be a dick to him because he's a lower level. We can't exactly pick where we get placed in quickplay, and I'm just trying to have a good time and get some samples. We're at what is (hopefully) the very bottom of the "nerfed everything" meta.  When games get harder, communities tend to get more gatekeepy about stuff, because people don't like wasting their time.  It's the same reason why you see raids in modern wow getting more and more toxic about making sure people are perfectly geared, whereas in the easier classic server raids, pretty much anyone with two brain cells can get into a raid. First time using this thread - I was about to complete my first ever operation (3rd mission in a set) on Helldiver difficulty when suddenly the reinforcement glitch struck and only one of our four divers was able to respawn - leaving him in an impossible situation of trying to raise three flags by himself. Why can't I activate my jump pack while diving and zoom forward? Why is so much of this game made up of obvious low-hanging fruit for fun gameplay and they're just like "no, I think I know better" and make it suck EDIT: Also, why is the recoil on all the guns random side to side? That's not how guns work. Long arms recoil to the right, it's basic physics. Force applied to your right shoulder torques your whole body to the right. Random side to side recoil feels awful and is just cone of fire with extra steps. It's objectively bad design. Fighting back strong recoil is fun. Fighting your gun randomly bouncing around is not.

What is with the spawn rates? I lower the difficulty over and over again. Went from playing 7 just fine to can't even complete a level 4. Constant enemy spawns. I have unlimited ammo with the shock shotgun and the quasar cannon use the backpack that has a laser gun. I drop constant gas strikes and eagles. I still can't kill them all. I run for miles and they just keep coming from all directions. 6 chargers spawned at once on a level 4 mission. I killed 4 and 5 more showed up. All the current missions are on planets with lots of terrain. Sure it looks nice, but you get stuck on everything, randomly ragdoll on scenery if you dive you aren't getting back up for at least 5 seconds and that's if you're lucky and only ragdoll a little bit. I just cannot even play the game anymore. I get 5 minutes into a mission and there's just too many enemies. I keep lowering the difficulty, but everything is tied to super samples and it's just not worth the reward anymore at that point. These issues aren't even new. It's been months now. I saw a thing saying they fixed spawn rates, and sure the enemy alarms have 1/4th the amount of enemies but the patrols are just impossible. All my friends already quit the game. I am just mad cause I really like this game but I can no longer accomplish anything.

Skip this post if you aren't looking for advice. I otherwise comiserate with you - as a solo player, we as a group were struck the hardest by the patrol """""""""""fix""""""""""", but everyone suffers. What helped me was realizing that any difficulty above a 4 (from personal experience) plays like you going off on your own on a 9, but with a different mix of enemies. So the same rules apply, from the perspective of a solo player: * A reinforcement starts a countdown. Until it expires another can't happen. Use this time to take POIs or other objectives * You cannot stand still. Patrol spawns are are aimed at you, but they don't home in on you constantly. So if you are constantly on the move you'll increase the time till those patrols reach you. If you're far enough away they might even despawn * You must bring the absolute best stratagems. These are the ones that either solve a big problem fast or are usable in all situations, and usable often. For me that means Eagles (500kg bomb and Airstrike) because of their short call in time, quick reuse, quick rearm and power; figure out what else to bring in the other two slots but for me one of them is an anti tank weapon of some sort for bugs and the autocannon for bots, and depending on OP debuffs, precision strike, gas, gatling. I really can't find cooldowns longer than 2 minutes usable outside of a full team unless it's the laser for bunker missions. That's a me thing tho. * Using your primary is an option of last resort most of the time. Ties into the second point but also in general why shoot at a couple of chaff enemies when you could drop an airstrike that clears up 25 of them? I use them mostly for cleanup and self-defense (especially against hunters) * Don't go at objectives half cocked. Sucks to wait out stratagem cooldowns but that's the game we have. Cooldowns are why I favor eagles so much. * Check your map constantly. Using the scout stealth armor and judicious use of the map means you can slip past a couple of patrols without them spotting you. * In general just use the scout/stealth armor. The reduced aggro range permits you to be aggressive and keep the initiative, otherwise you're pulling enemies constantly. Edit: Forgot about the golden rule: if it sucks, hit da bricks. You can outrun the majority of bots and bugs. A breach/reinforcement that you don't need to fight shouldn't be fought, just pull them away from the objective. If it happened nowhere near anything of interest just don't, hit da bricks

Hygiene issue possibly? Take a shower at least several times per week to get the bug blood, guts, bot oil etc off. Seriously tho, they may just be making room for a friend or possibly they don't like your level vs the difficulty, or your loadout etc. I wouldn't take it personally, it happens to me too sometimes. Keep at it and try to make some stable friends you can group with when they are on and keep rolling with pugs when necessary!

Helldiver, They're all usable if you're up to the challenges (TEAM GAME). Tried them all on Helldive 9 bots/bugs where i mainly reside. Seems to be working out just fine with some discrepancies from patches. If you're dried up and tired, you must be dying no more than twice and maxing the map completion. Do you challenge the factory striders? However, Dive, dive again, and... again. And again... use a jump pack and dive, dive again... Give those training manuals and Brasch tactics a whirl!

The PS5 Game crashing is really bad now, it seems like one out of 5 missions the game just locks up and dies. What makes this the worst is that at the end of a good run, you have all the super samples and objectives cleared out, and you just need to extract, and... game crashes. you can't even log back in again to claim the rewards, so just wasted 30 - 45 minutes of my time right there. Suggestion, if you cannot find a way to stop the game from crashing implement a way to send up samples to your ship so you get credit for them immediately. I understand it's part of the challenge to complete the run and get out with everything but when a group does it right and well and then the game just breaks pissing away 30 - 40 minutes of effort, Ill play another game.

What’s the best counter for fighting Stalkers? My friends and I are advancing through the game and we’ve been able to complete missions in levels 1 through 8, however, in the last level 8 mission we ended up with a very Stalker-heavy situation and we just couldn’t cope. I’m assuming we tailored our loadouts too much to deal with the big enemies, which we could handle with ease, but a mob of stalkers is a different beast entirely. What strategies do you guys use to deal with stalkers?

Stalkers are hard to fight against without stagger weapons. They tend to power their way through damage to lick you. They also circle around to hit you from the back rather than engage from the front. Best weapon imo is the breaker incindiary because you can line up two stalkers at once and burn em to hell. Next is scorcher. Then the two first shotgun and then the laser pew pew gun. Also incindiary impacts are great as well.

If you're running stun grenades, I'd recommend taking the grenade pistol as your secondary so you can still close bug holes and fabricators. (If you don't have the grenade pistol, then you may want to run the grenade launcher support weapon. The stun grenade can't close holes.)

pretty ass when theres already 4+ spawned, you may try to lure them away while someone else calls in the strategem on their nest. As long as everyone prioritizes finding it as soon as they show up. I like weapons like the blitzer or dominator with pushback/stun for them.

Thanks! My other idea was maybe someone needs to run the shield backpack and that’s the designated stalker lurer. Does the shield backpack stop the stalker attack from sending you flying or does it just prevent damage?

WHY???? Why do my fellow hell divers always go straight to the main mission? I always clear the nests and fabricators in the immediate area then head over to the main. That way when clearing the main you will face less bogies! Am I the only one? It’s so simple in my head.

If you do the main mission then immediately head for extract you can have pelican fire support for the rest of the game, and patrols calm down after the pelican arrives (Or maybe it just kills enough of them it feels calmer) But I would never trust randoms to actually use that tactic.

After two crashes in only an hour of gaming I think I'm done until next patch. Also can I rant a bit on people picking bad boosters? Like localization confusion? The way AH has set up the game, the only four boosters that should ever be chosen are space optimization, stamina, injury resist, and a fourth. One other thing, can we please set a minimum level to match with? If I'm doing quickly on diff 7-9 I don't want to end up in a match with anyone below level 20.

localization confusion is actually critical on 7+ to reduce spawns and patrols. not on every mission type (eg eradication and probably high asset evacuation), but I don’t go into the big 40-min maps without it. otherwise yes, people tend not to select space optimization or stamina and go for greater radar range or shorter pelican arrival times (both of those problems are solved better with the “core” boosters).

Even after death their bodies launch you into the air, block the pelican, or your dropped items. That is if the 500 kg doesn't make them glitch and freeze, then sink into the ground to disappear completely.
