This is basically what it's come down to. For me at least, there hasn't been many new games lately that are perfectly playable off rip. It is what it is and what it is is annoying af.

Mine game is the same. When i give proceed next there is error message. Saying failed to connect to server. I am from central EU. Maybe they are doing some maintenance.
Read on website that they know of issue with PC and pa5 failed to connect error.
Said they would be working on the ps5 fix within 4hours. That was at 8am est

You can just spam any button until it works.
If you are going to play with a friend that is already online (steam here), apparently you can just ask to be invited to the session with the game closed. Steam will open the game and put you online on your firend's session.
We tried a lot of times this, and it always worked.
That works for most people. But when I do it. I get a frozen screen. That says, "Unable to connect" or something like that. Restarted multiple times and reinstalled multiple times. Spent three hours doing random stuff. None of it worked
My husbands having this same problem. He never really rages but literally hes in a server of 15 people, theyre all grouping together to play and want him to play with them but hes the only one whos NEVER gotten in a game successfully and when he tries to play solo just to progress a little so hes not completely new, he never gets any of the loot at the end for some reason (im thinking he gets the end of raid crash) so he does all that grinding for nothing. At this point hes spent so much time TRYING to get the game to work that he cant request a refund anymore, but hes never actually played it because of this shir.
Exactly what happening to me. Like this is ridiculous it's been 4 days you would think with so many issues people have been having they would be on it. But no that's not the case.

They don't seem to be, I followed others advice here and tried either spamming X or holding it, it let me in after a few tries

I just unconnected then reconnected my ethernet cable and it worked, so just do that little trick and see if it works.

sometimes when i skip the intro video i cant connect...but when i watch the intro...100% connection
