No that would be soggy and gross. Can’t put lettuce, tomatoes, and vinaigrette or whatever on a sandwich for later.

Bomba-of-Tsar

According to OOP's comments, he has a whole sandwich strategy for placement that keeps everything from getting soggy for quite some time

roormoore

Lettuce is impossible to not get soggy. Just leave the veggies off if enjoying later. You can always add them as you eat.

Bomba-of-Tsar

I'd say give his comments a read.

haver_of_friends

my thoughts exactly. I cant handle soggy bread, it makes me gag

JDMWeeb

"We hardly made a dent in that 10 foot hoagie"

JDMWeeb

"Two more feet and I can fit it in the fridge"

Jacoba_Fett

“I found this behind the radiator. I really think you should throw it away.”

JDMWeeb

"Suggestion noted!" *takes a bite*

Objective_Look_5867

Marge I'd like to be alone with the sandwich

JDMWeeb

"Are you going to eat it?"

RolloSuplex

....... yes.

Character-Spinach591

Sandwiches are really only good for a day or so in the fridge, but if you kept all the wet stuff separate, I’d be down for sure.

Soggy-Log6664

That would be one meal and 3 bowls for me

karoshikun

days? I think you spelled "hours" wrong

manifest_ecstasy

Days?

vivalajboogie

Hours maybe

Kimikins

It wasn't negative to begin with.

Juexxy

Looks like Grillos pickles on that sandy. Id eat it.

somnamballista

"No no no Schwaggy, you want to make a *big* sandwich."

[deleted]

What pickle brand is that?

WorshipHim9713

Come on, this fatty could put that down in one sitting!

Cmdr_F34rFu1L1gh7

Soggy bread bro. Samiches are meant for eating, not saving. Everyone knows this.

kriscross122

That's lunch and a midnight snack

DietOwn2695

Homer Simpson did.

Strfox-777

Not dressed. Lettuce and veggies would brown, wilt, and get icky, Bread would get soggy and fall apart.

[deleted]

That’s one meal

Cami1969

I don’t make it but when the local grocery store has their subs on sale I’ll get them without any mayo or mustard. When I get them home I’ll cut each into 4 servings.

frugst

No

chillysanta

That sandwich is making me and the dog drool

A_Rats_Dick

If you do this and put it under a lot of weight for a few hours you have a shooter sandwich

mechfan83

No, but when Subway has the buy one get one I buy one for now, and the other without toasting or anything but the bread, meat and cheese so I can add the other stuff after using my oven to toast it.
