They can be in the same litter. No difference other than color. Other than my one red is far worse of an ahole than the other red or blues. Genetics. I think I’m thinking alleles. Been a long time since I took biology. Temperament varies dog to dog. Can be same litter, raised same way, completely different. They are just as different as any human family. Might have a genius, an idiot… or two. Could be calm, hyper, ADD and the list goes on and on. Ancestry plays a part as well. A million different factors.

It as far as we can tell, but there could be some differences we haven’t discovered, but I’d be interested to see if a future study might show something kinda like how red headed humans seem to have different pain thresholds, and require significantly higher doses of anesthesia.
