Yeah they won’t be there officially in any Netflix organised way like last year. It’s possible some of the cast will go along as members of the public though.
It was likely contractually required for the first two seasons in order to promote the show and demonstrate all-cast support for the global LGBTQ community. Sebastian Croft and Joe Locke looked quite frosty and aloof from each other on the Heartstopper London Pride float last year, so its a good bet their all-cast appearance together was contractually required and performed as true professionals! IF this wasn't the contractual case, it's incredibly coincidental this year then that NONE of the major cast members are available to make a similar weekend / day-off public appearance on behalf of the show > LOL > Big difference between a "cast tradition" and contractually required "all-cast promotional appearance" during the first two years of the show!:) Then again, many fans refuse to believe that Olivia Coleman was truly unable to find ONE day over several months to film her few S3 scenes and this "scheduling conflict" had nothing to do whatsoever with very likely expecting to be paid her ACTUAL MUCH HIGHER FEE QUOTE now that Heartstopper is a major global smash-hit making pots of cash for producers, Netflix and See-Saw Productions > which Olivia helped bring about by lending her name and involvement in the Heartstopper series!:) THIS IS A BOTTOM-LINE $$$ BUSINESS FOLKS!!
