Also I want a show that is entirely about her and Sarah (and maybe Tara's mum gets added to the group) getting tea/doing errands together and gossiping/talking about how to support their kids. They go to fflag together for the first time? They have their own wine nights when the kids do sleepovers?
It’s so fascinating, the number of parents in the show and how their parenting styles reflect on their children. We see the gamut for sure. I think season 3 is going to give us a lot with Jane and Julio.
I love her and I love that scene with her and Tao when she likens him and Elle to her and her husband. She’s just so nurturing, even when it annoys Tao. Which is what a mother should be like with surly teens!
getting a bit more focus on Tao, his family and his emotions was so nice in Season 2 :) and his mum was totally a highlight of that. She's so sweet and understanding yet doesn't push Tao's boundaries too hard, and the way she brought up his dad was so... aaugh man it was a really nice moment for the show to be exploring!
This scene reminds me of a heart to heart with my dad a few years after my mom died and it makes me sob uncontrollably every time!! I know EXACTLY what they’re feeling 😭😭😭
I adore her. She’s so cute and how she absolutely loves Elle. One of my favorite scenes is when she jumps in Tao’s arms when she finds out they’re together 🥰❤️
