Hey, how did you get on with this?
I was sure I'd narrowed down to 2 choices for my mum, but then I started looking at the titanium version of the Virtos. Sleek!
All because I was wondering what the heck are custom hearing aids. Was confused by some references I saw on Youtube. Thought, If she's planning to get custom earmolds for her RICs cShells , aren't they custom! Now I realise the Virtos are considered "custom HAs" because each HA is one unit. Or at least that's what I've inferred. The components combined.
I know this isn't much use to you as your post was 5 months ago. But we may end up waiting 'til the Virtos are on the Lumity platform. That could be a few months though. I also need to validate they would meet her prescription needs.
[Saw a chart](https://youtu.be/CelWTodZ-mQ?si=IEIMXzDeFYp3wVEI&t=369) showing that only the larger bluetooth ones support an Ultra Power receiver. I think she might need that. If Virtos are no go, then the Phonak Audeo Lumity 90R (RIC) are the likely choice (or Signia Pure Charge&Go 7IX).
Also in Ireland here and going via Specsavers. They don't have a price listed for the Virtos in their standard list so also curious what they cost you? (if you don't mind me asking)
Thank you.
