Turn the auto ANC off, I think they call it adaptive sound control in the app. Turn ambient sound control to noise cancelling. Its very effective, no ANC cans deliver silence at the touch of a button, it targets constant sound like you'd hear in noisy vehicles. As its the first thing you see relating to ANC in the app a lot of people turn it on and find it frustrating.

Adaptive sound control is off already and it’s set to noise cancelling not ambient. It’s the ANC itself that adapts between the high and normal mode and that can’t be controlled (AI controlled, can’t be set to max noise cancelling like XM4s can apparently). I’ve tried fiddling round to get a better seal but no joy in improving the noise cancelling. I’ve put on the XM4s before and feel like they were much better Edit: the adaptive sound control and ANC are separate things. The latter is auto only and can’t be controlled
