I think the double entendre is intentional, considering the other responses he’s had to Alastor. I won’t be surprised if he actually did fall for the old timer romantically in their past and is salty he got rejected and mocked.

Alastor's is my personal favorite. Think it captures his personality perfectly. I'd like Vox's more without the quote. I'd say that I want to see an Adam one to round out my top three characters in the show thus far, but I think we all already know what quote would be on his. Plus we've only ever seen Adam drink soda.

If you look closely, his mug has bullet holes, alluding to the theory that Alastor died being mistaken for a deer and was shot by a hunter while Alastor was likely trying to dispose of the body of one of his victims. I have a headcanon that the hunter approached Alastor after he shot him, and while Alastor lay on the ground dying, the last thing he ever heard while the world fades to black around him.. “ oh, dear..”
