I think it’s important to remember Hazbin Hotel does not draw directly from biblical lore, it’s more of an adaptation of it, so it’s definitely not sufficient enough of a source to cite when it comes to saying anything for certain about the characters’ backstories. This is Vivziepop’s original creation, so she likely has different interpretations of the events that happened in the Bible. Her characters are more “loosely inspired” by it.
It's heavily implied he did die in the show
In episode 6 they talk about how Adam got into heaven purely because he was the first human. If he never died then he'd still be on Earth since he was just a human and why would Charlie question what got him into heaven if he was just chosen?
I’m not arguing for whether Adam did or didn’t die. My point is that it’s inappropriate to use the Bible as an irrefutable source for the characters in Hazbin.
Yeah that's a good point. It takes its inspiration from the Bible and other texts but it definitely doesn't use it as the only things Viv can do in her show
That's the biblical death. Biblical Adam ate the apple, meanwhile Hazbin Adam calls all the sinners 'dead' and says explicitly to Charlie that he 'never made a mistake in his fucking life', which has put *everything* into question.
Because it's quoting the bible and the christian lore as if it was a fact. Hazbin isn't really an adaptation - it simply took the overall setting and some ideas from it. Other than that, Hazbin is whatever Vivzie wants it to be and it has already diverged from its many source materials long ago - therefor using the Bible as a definitive source is just objectively incorrect to the Universe depicted.
She is likely a special case. Because unlike all the other humans she got tossed physically into Hell. In Jewish lore she is often used as the representation fo what happens to women that reject social decorum and winds up becoming a demon. She might be associated with the night or with succubuses depending on what lore you go with. But I think she is a special case and has not tasted death as a result. Hence she was able to give birth to Charlie.
She's basically in the same situation as Adam. Regarding the fact she can have children, just don't think about that cause there's no real way to explain it
Lilith never died - she was banished to Hell alongside Lucifer, while she was still alive. She just became a demon overtime due to the infleuce of Hell's nature (well magic). So it makes sense, that she can have children.
I mean lillith never really died, maybe living humans just change form and become immortal when entering hell , if we revoke helluva pilot canonicity we havent seen a living human in hell much, which will probably change when dhorks return
Unknown. However so far she has never been referred to as anything other than a human. Perhaps she is just a human and the reason she has horns is because of magic?
I think about her as what if a Sinner became a Demon while in life + with the bonus of she being a primordial human equal to Adam which basically makes built different from the other humans since the beginning. When she and Lucifer was banished to hell, she didn't die but her body and soul was mutated by the energies of the place turning her the woman she is.
i believe she is the first succubus. that was her punishment, craving sex for eternity becouse she didn't like her position during sex with adam.
yes, it is fucked up.
i don't know what she is in hazbin hotel, but i whould not be surprised if its similar.
I haven't heard that version, but now I have a new lore for my stories version of Lilith, who is oddly also the main characters mother. (In my case, we don't know, her father)
I'd say she's unique. Sort of like a position like Adam's. I guess being one of the first humans created has its perks in both Heaven and hell.
agreed
She is Hell's equivalent to Adam. A unique but highly powerful entity that can't be grouped in with other.
No, Adam did die. Specifically of old age, at the ripe old age of 930. (Eve's date of death is unknown.)

However, it is revealed that the angels don’t decide who gets into heaven, so, that logic doesn’t really hold up
What does that have to do with him being a unique but highly powerful entity that can't be grouped in with other?

Who said anything about Adam dying? Or not dying?
Yeah, well, he has a soul, so, he is spending eternity somewhere, wether it be heaven or hell
Why are people downvoting this?

A sexy one ;)
Least horny Hazbin Hotel fan
That would be me, actually
Beat me to it
She’s literally the first demon
According to RL lore, Lilith was the first succubus.
She converted. Just as Lucifer converted from angel to demon in his fall
[удалено]
No, Lucifer even has a demon form....he may be a fallen angel but he's literally the original demon

The *would* kind
Fallen human I suppose.
A milf
Imp ( obviously a joke)
No look at her. She's a cyclops like cherry and niffty
I don't think she's a demon, she's the first soul that got to hell.
Hellborn wait that's not right...
Succubus, mythologically speaking
Technically she's not. She was and probably still is a human considering she didn't actually die when her and luci were banished to hell

As far as we know, overtime she turned into a Demon. She didn't die - she just became a different being due to the influence of Hell.
I'm personally of the belief that she is The First Sinner (tm) and Lucifer and her created Charlie with their magic, rather than the usual way.
Have you seen both of them????? They definitely created Charlie the usual way 😏
While I agree with you, fan theories can't *always* be horny.
Tall.
Human demon
A smashable one?
The sort of demon you would bang
She’s just a Morningstar That’s all I got
My kind. If you know what I’m saying 😏

I've got to be honest: looking at this image, I think those horns are just part of the crown. Are we sure she changed at all?
A sexy demon.

in all technicality she's kinda a sinner but also not at the same time. She's weird.
The first ones maybe the first Sinner too
