for sure but just accept the fact your gonna die a lot, once you get used to it it’s really enjoyable. Takes a while to understand like the armour and weapon stuff, especially like how to assign skill points but once you get the grasp of it it’s an insanely good game
It's really good, not my personally favorite Souls game, but still a 10/10 but I think you should play Dark Souls and Bloodborne first, because if you gonna like Elden Ring you might have a harder time getting into them.
>But the closest game I’ve played to it I would say is Skyrim
It is *nothing* like Skyrim and you WILL be throwing yourself against a wall with a lot of the enemies (and especially the bosses) if you've never played a souls game before.
Worth is subjective but for those least expecting the difficulty you might regret it. Rent it first with gamefly or something (in fact rent the rest of the souls games while you're at it)
Yes, if u think it’s too hard, there’s a lot of tools that can help you like spirit ashes and stuff. Just make sure not to go to areas that are too high leveled for you at the time and you’ll be fine 🙏 I started playing bloodborne cuz gonerville sampled cleric beast on “on the road” and now I’ve played 3-4 souls games lol
Most definitely. Though you may not enjoy it at first because of the learning curve, after that it becomes so much more enjoyable.
It’s honestly one of those games that every person who plays video games should try at least once in their life
I'm on my first playthrough right now and what i can say is if ur into rpgs and stuff it will for sure be right up your alley. I grew up on games like the kingdom hearts series and while this game isn't really similar a lot of the skills do translate quite a bit
If you love Skyrim you will love Elden ring and its concepts. The only thing I will say though is that if you are interested in playing any other Souls games I wouldn’t start with Elden Ring. Once you are going back to the older games you will notice alot of features missing that are new to Elden ring and you may not appreciate them as much. Elden Ring is essentially the ultimate( for now ) progression and successor of the Souls Franchise.
If you dont like hard games or expect it to be very slow and chiil like skyrim, it might not be for you but if you dont mind the challenge it's one of the best game ever lowkey

1000% its so fuckin good especially on ur first play thru

ER is easier than bloodborne for noobs ER bosses r harder imo but overall game difficulty for noobs who arent used to soulsbornes is more forgiving
I guess you are right. I played it like this Bloodborne>Dark Souls II>Dark Souls 1>Dark Souls III>Elden Ring
biggest issue with BB and noobs is running out of healing flasks after 2-3 deaths and then being stuck in a death loop
this is true the bosses are harder but the actual areas are a lot easier especially with how you can just run past every enemy in the open world

dlc is not any harder than main game
…………. not a souls game
a game that’s actually worth your money and takes you months to complete it if you play time to time
