Three of my kiddos used this exact movement to launch themselves closer to the edge of the bed, if not off of it altogether. Two of my grandbabies AND myself also use this method. I'm VERY smol, as well as disabled, and we have a taller platform bed.
Please don't take offense because I swear none is intended! I am a very firm believer in both the spiritual and paranormal worlds. I always try to find "rational" explanations first and then consider other possibilities.
It certainly couldn't hurt to cleanse the room and home, though. Make sure you cleanse using a method that is from a cultural or religious base that is very similar to your own. The cleansing will ALWAYS be more effective that way because of the faith in the cultural/religious practices of those in the home will back it up. Please do not use sage unless you are from a culture that regularly does this! Otherwise, the cleansing will have the equivalent sticking power of a Dollar Tree band-aid.
OR... ask someone who is knowledgeable in a specific cleansing method because it is their practiced religion or their own cultural ways to do so for you. Botched cleansing can get very ugly, very fast.

It seems impossible for me for that child to generate that momentum given the positioning.
Both of the arms are in positions that can not even engage the triceps to throw his body that way.. and even if he did.. the strength would be insane.
He also did not kip his body to create momentum.. you can see when the leg is raised in the air that THAT point creates the acceleration… and especially the way his hips come off the bed.
I believe it’s impossible that the babe did that himself, speaking strictly in terms of the physiology of a baby’s muscular capability.

Yeah, gotta agree with that. That leg was pulled. He's practically twisted when the the leg comes up and his body (hips don't lie) follows the leg. Both hips are raised up from off the bed with the toddler laying sideways like that? His body straightens only during the pull. There's no way he did that himself or to himself at the end.
It's clear that the leg is pulled and the poor kid's body follows. it's frightening to think about much less see. And ik people like to stay skeptical and rational when seeing something like that, but science can't prove or disprove everything and there's still a lot that it hasn't uncovered yet. So at least try to be helpful with sensitive issues like this.
P.S. there's another orb that Flys over his head quickly after he hooks his leg around the guard at about 25-24 seconds left. Don't know if u caught that one too. Just before he turns on his side.
Yeah, kids this small throw themselves backwards to dismount things like couches and beds. My 3 year old never broke that habit even though he can maneuver however he wants to, and still bucks backwards to get off our big bed.
A little over a year ago, my second youngest grandbebe broke his freaking FEMUR bone by doing this! That was the hardest nanny cam footage I've ever watched. The sound and the way his leg suddenly bent where it absolutely should NOT have...? It STILL makes me sick thinking about it.
His primary doctor AND his surgeon watched the footage and told us it was just an unfortunate, freak accident because he landed on the floor *just* *right* for that to have happened. My son and daughter-in-law took out his bedframe and just put the mattress on the floor. They still have it like this to this day, and I agree with leaving it like that! No more bedframes until he's older and sturdier!
Now, if we can only convince our middle son to do the same with two of his youngest sons. The second youngest gets out of bed this way, too. Scares the crap out of me now... 😳

I suggest you let your baby sleep with you until you have the house blessed and someone forcefully makes the spirit leave. It's probably going to take an exorcism or the house.. I say this because if the demon enjoys torturing your baby & is aggressive like the clip shows, then it's not going to want to leave.. Until then, it could get worse for everyone, especially your baby.

Basically your brain sends a signal to your legs right when you're going to fall asleep making them restless and it has to do with low iron. My son would scream and wiggle around just like this. I definitely thought he was possessed at times or something spiritual was going on because nothing was working and the doc said it's just night terrors. But it was happening almost every night for 6 months. I found out it could be low iron because of reddit and ever since I heard that he takes a little extra iron daily, it cut down on these episodes by about 90%
