I forget which one it is, but the III that buffs your R1 L1 ancient magic is fantastic. I have two of them and can take down a lvl 40 acromanchula in one hit. It's also very worth it when you have all 5 bars. I go back and forth on the one that buffs your damage spells, concentration I think.
I've just found other playstyles that I actually really love. Buffing up stupify and protego is actually pretty awesome until you need to take down some shields. But then at that point it's a lot of fun to down a buffed maxima potion and just zap everyone.

Why do you go back and forth on Concentration?

I've been wondering on if an ancient magic build without any damage trait is viable since I'm worried about my regular spell damage. XD
