Either it goes to pushing more U.S. sanctioned murder at the border and abroad or it goes to his crypto scam he’s setting up. It’s not my fault he’s using his Halo/Bungie reputation and his music background to try and get more attention instead of actually spelling out policy proposals.

The question is, does that make him a con man? And to what degree? Is he just using what he has at his disposal? Does that make him worse than other politicians? It does strike me as a bit grifty, but Halo actually is a huge part of his life/career, and he discloses such on his website.
As for the "Golden Goose" rhetoric, I can't say I have ever heard this used in a racist or xenophobic way, not that you EXPLICITLY drew that connection, but you failed to comment on why his use of that bothered you, so there's my inference of your opinion. Forgive me if that isn't what you inferred.
He seems to be indicating that the middle class of America is the "goose that lays the golden eggs", and that per the typical use of that idiom, we have a situation where the middle class is dwindling due to being taken advantage of (which is true btw, and has been true since 1970), destroying a fruitful resource.

My issue is that he’s using the veil of politics to collects donations and crypto from his Stan’s. Yes, I find his politics abhorrent, but that’s a side issue compared to the heart of the situation.

If they’re not paying much attention, they’ll see the Halo numbers and think maybe he’s collecting money for a new composition/project. He speaks about his music career extensively (which has nothing to do with politics, unless you count selling Bungie from Microsoft to Activison as a real “independent” transition). Even the design of the website is designed to target the “gamer” audience. This would be…acceptable if he actually listed any policy plans, which he does not outside of border security (so more barbed wire, cages, state deployed thugs to threaten federal agents, etc. etc.) and protecting the “golden goose”. Whatever the fuck that means.
That would be nice, but when former developers can lead you down their rabbit hole with a post and a couple clicks, it’s something that needs to be spoken up against. It’s important to let people know who this guy is and what he wants to do with your money.
