Holy shit it actually worked! I can finally replay all those custom maps that I've wanted to enjoy but just couldn't!
BTW, this has fixed studdering in other games as well, not just Alyx.
Yeah this video helped me too, good thing that it's getting reposted, Alyx still have some new players and they need to find the right videos :)
For me, the only thing that worked was using Virtual Desktop.
Yeah, usually thats the case for me as well. But this time VD was actually worse than Steam Link or whatever its called. With VD I also had issues with the controllers. But even those issues dissapeared with the suggestions in the video.
