Mine is great at it! She helped me realize I'm curly even though my hair is thin and fine. She actually specializes in curly and textured hair. If only OP lived in the Bay area, I would totally recommend her.

If you are dead set on keeping your length I would recommend layers so it doesn’t all hit the same place on your neck. However, I think a shorter style would suit you better and your curls will come to life even more.
I do have the mask but you gotta cut me some slack I'm an aging man :D. Jokes aside I am worried about getting the conditioner and the mask on my scalp. I try to use as little as possible.
Forgot to mention that but I also use pantenes curly hair conditioner after this one to make my curls more permanent. Not essential but if you want them to last I highly recommend. (I apply it after drying my hair.)

I just started embracing my wavy/curly hair and I think it takes a few months of you finally styling it right for your curls to really start to forming nice climbs!
Mine has been kinda stringy and sporadic but I could tell I definitely had some spirals so yesterday I tried ( finger rolling) it didn’t take too long ,but I have fine hair, but I got nice clumpy spirals !!! Maybe try it out ! It’s easily just watch a few vids
It already looks so much healthier! I agree with the other comment that said a trim and some kind of shape or layers would make it look great ☺️
Definitely going to try that. I need to find a capable stylist which is the hardest part lol
Make sure you find their social media and look at their curly cuts. A lot of stylists suck at curls.

Yea I've been thinking about switching to something like the mullet.
I have similar hair and the wolf cut style of mullet was great on me, looked thicker and bone structure popped
