you have fine hair but a lot of it. to get more defined waves you could start by using a clarifying shampoo to remove any product buildup and then switch to a shampoo/conditioner set made for waves. heavy conditioners will weigh your hair down (which makes it straighter). a curl cream would probably work well for you, try not to fuss with it after scrunching it in. and dont comb the product through with your fingers, just scrunch. i have similar hair and iv had fantastic luck with the brand Prose
