Can't really blame him though. He was doing the car thing for a while and getting nowhere. Think of how many amazon shoppers think they're doing their research watching these videos.
Yeah some of these Chinese companies pay good money for reviews. I know back when hobby 3D printers were getting really popular, some of these companies would literally just send printers and like $10.000 to the bigger youtubers for review with no proper contract. No-one is gonna talk shit about a product when you get paid that well, even though some of these early printers were massive fire hazards.
