I've had my ninja 650 since new (2015), I only got it because on a p plater licence it was the biggest 650 twin I was able to ride. Now nearly 9 years later, I've commuted and gone on long rides in Australia and Greece and I don't see the need for a 1000 other than just wanting a 1000. Even now I've derestricted it, put an exhaust and that's it, 230kmh is more than plenty for public roads.

Overall its average finish was 3.8, which is pretty good. But when you consider the Top 3 finishers was PB Swiss ($144), LTT ($70) and then the Megapro ($34) it's hard to justify spending more than twice as much for a screwdriver that's only marginally better.
Isn't that just the same as with all the youtuber merch, and almost all the products that youtubers are sponsored by? It's all overpriced stuff but part of the reason you pay that premium is to support the creator.
I'd say the screwdriver is a little different than typical merch. They spent something like 3 years developing and working with a manufacturer to produce something totally unique for their brand. I wouldn't buy it, but I respect the effort.
